Nephew took my car to get oil change, as I’m sick so couldn’t and he was doing me the favor. The rude guy behind a computer tells my nephew he isn’t going to service the car because he wasn’t the owner. Guy was rude and obviously doesn’t want business. Plenty of business in need of customers. With all the up charges I’ve read about, probably not a trustworthy business anyway. Taking business elsewhere!

I've been coming here for years. David, the owner also works on the cars, double check all vehicles. I don't know of any where else that's like this place. Very honest, friendly, explain everything that's going on with your vehicle. Kevin works in the front and he always gives Amazing Customer Service.

Found a groupon for a $19 conventional oil change, which couldn’t be beat! The man working the service desk was an angel, so respectful honest and quick to get us in an out. Treats his mechanics with full respect as well. Matched the groupon so i didn’t have to deal with that. In and out in 30 min @ 9am. Very pleased. God bless you guys, thank you so much 🙏🏼

I have been coming here for my smog check since 2014. This year my car did not pass and they did everything they could to fix my car and keep the price down. I highly recommend taking your car here. It's hard to find because they are in the back left corner of the parking lot with a lot of other businesses but they are worth looking up if you need a trustworthy mechanic.

Really disappointed at last visit with JJ Star. I went in for a simple battery installation, and they surcharge you 50% more for the battery. In addition, they charge $110 dollars to install. I paid a total of $433 for a battery! I received a quote and questioned the high cost. I was told by Kevin that I required an expensive battery for my car, at $290 plus $110 installation. After installation, I googled same exact battery... price was only $145... I called Kevin who disclosed that they surcharged the battery about $90? Shouldn't this have covered the battery installation??? More than $200 was paid for installation??? At the end of conversation, Kevin said that if I don't like the prices to go elsewhere... I will! I will also make sure to tell all the other people that I referred not go there anymore.

Not a good service at all they tried to charge me 600 to replace a light on my Jetta $600 was the price for one. One broken tab was the only problem... and they didn’t know how to do a proper light inspection. The inner lights turned on but these guys didn’t knew how to turn it off so they just didn’t passed it. Try another place no honest guys at all

Second time in 15 yrs I've been there. Completely satisfied. Today they said they could get me done I a few hrs. Which they did. AC works great now. Was a problem with cooling fan. My car is a real pain to work on, so really appreciate them even wanting to work on it.

Oil change, in & out in under an hour. The pricing is comparable to the area. Employees super professional and friendly. The front desk guy offered me a cold water, then a mechanic came in and offered me a water, even a customer came in and offered me a water. Waiting area is clean, with chairs and tv. Only drawback, no A/C. They did have a fan, but that did little to comfort as the outdoor temp was 98. I was glad they were done in a reasonable amount of time so I could get back to my vehicle and A/C. 😁But I'll still go back.

I’m very happy with this place the very nice they help you. They explain it to you and they take care of you like family. Thank you so much for taking care of my 2006 scion TC I highly recommend this place you will not regret it in the thing that I like about Kevin is that before he does repair he calls you and let you know how much it’s gonna cost and if you’re OK doing the work I have no complaints about them very easy outgoing people AAA++++

I went there for an alignment thinking the shaking from my steering wheel would straighten out. They found that my tires needed to be changed, so after the alignment they rotated them for free, fixed the problem, and went above and beyond to fix my car. They did a complete assessment and made recommendations based on their findings with a timeline of when they may need to be repaired. I highly recommend them!
