First time customer and EXTREMELY satisfied. Paul (owner), Don, and the crew far exceeded my expectations. They were friendly, fair, timely, and spot on with the diagnostic and repair. I have never had a car repair experience anywhere close to the service Joe's Auto provided. We will definitely return again and recommend to all our friends. This place is a gem!!

Great experience. The mechanic got in the car and rode with us so he could listen to the noise our car was making and ask questions about what we were experiencing. The shop was good about communicating when the repair would be finished, and they were up front with us about the price. The price seemed fair. I really appreciated that the staff treated us with respect, which isn't always the case at some garages. We will be back!

We are on a 2 month trip through 11 states. While were in Ohio our RV toad (tow vehicle) spun a left rear axle bearing, damaged (destroyed) the axle and blew out the oil seal. Joe's automotive was able to get us back on the road in 1 day. That being said. I just want to say, the team at Joes not only go us back on the road. They also went WAY above and beyond any business I have ever dealt with. They truly made me feel welcome and made me feel like my friends were woking on our Jeep. I would recommend Joe's Auto repair to everyone I know in the Stow, Ohio area. This review cannot do justice to how much I appreciate their kindness and friendship they showed to someone who was so far from home. "Thank you" To the team at Joe's and especially to Andy who stayed late to get us back on the road!!!!!

While I was driving to Akron from Cleveland, a piece of my undercarriage fell loose. I pulled over 3 times to tuck it back in but ultimately made it. I passed Joe's Auto on my way back to the freeway for a stressful drive back and figured it was worth a try. I didn't have an appointment, didn't even call in advance, and wasn't optimistic about them being able to help. But they actually squeezed me in and zip tied up the loose part within half an hour. They didn't even charge me for it! Cannot say enough nice things about them since they completely turned around a terrible day. They even had an adorable shop puppy who cheered me up drastically. If I was a local, I'd go back for sure.

Joe's was recommended to me by a friend because I urgently needed my brakes changed and the shop is close to my work. I am grateful that they were who I chose to use. They got my car in ASAP since I advised that I pretty much had nothing left for brakes. They were quick and efficient. They were also very upfront about the price, with the reassurance that they would still contact me prior to proceeding with the repairs. A lot of places wouldn't quote me an estimate, even though I was very adamant that I knew that more than the base issue may be wrong with the car, therefore costing more. But I really just wanted to know the starting point and base cost for what I was mostly sure was wrong. They were very upfront with this. This has been weeks ago now and I have not had any issues. I waited to leave the review as I had seen other reviews where people said that their repairs failed. I have not found this to be the case for me. I will definitely be utilizing them as my go to mechanic from now on.

My friends and I haven't had the best experiences at Joe's, personally. The prices (especially compared to other auto repair shops) are just really high. They did some work on my vehicle, and then I took it to another shop to finish some other things that needed to be fixed (because I literally couldn't afford to have Joe's do it all). I showed the other shop my receipt/items fixed from Joe's, and they were truly shocked at the price I paid. My friend went to Joe's to get something on her vehicle fixed and had to take it back about seven different times to fix the SAME issue. While they are relatively nice and did what they could to rectify my friend's issue, I would just highly recommend looking at multiple different options/prices for your auto repair needs before settling on one.

I have a F350 super duty diesel dually truck. Joe's Auto had it for several months trying to figure out why it died while ideling and wouldn't start back up. They FINALLY fixed the clutch thingy and I drove it 12 miles to buy dog food, brakes slowly went out. Not their fault of course. As I drove it into my pasture to park it until I could work on the brakes, the serpentine belt broke. No biggie-I replaced it. But when I opened the hood to my stunned surprise there were clearly parts missing-the top of the motor was uncovered. As I don't work on diesels (well very little I can do with cars) I'm not even sure what parts they managed to loose! They made no attempt whatsoever to find parts to replace what they lost. Now, 16 months after they replaced the front brakes and rotors on my Corolla, the shims had moved and were rubbing the rotors! By now I've learned the hard way, not to trust them working on my vehicles. I've got to find someplace else. I've been going to them for decades. Don't know what has changed, quality wise, but I clearly can't depend upon Joe's Auto to fix my vehicles any more. :(

HANDS DOWN THE BEST! My family and I have moved 8 times in the past 15 years and finding a trustworthy, reliable and fairly priced mechanic when we move is hard. We had tried some other local mechanics and we weren't happy with the work that was done for the price that was charged. We left feeling ripped off. That's when we found Joe's. Listen, if you want to go somewhere that treats you like family, go HERE. I feel like I'm getting advice from my older brother or dad when I go here. They give it to you straight. Even the gal at the front desk feels like I'm talking to an old high school friend. We've had minor and major repairs done on both of our cars (2006 Ford w/ 300k miles and 2013 Honda Van 120k miles) and I've always been satisfied with the quality of work done, the turnaround time, the recommendations they've given and the customer service. And I've always been pleasantly surprised at the price. It's always felt fair and honest. I won't go anywhere else and don't think you should either. Thanks everyone at Joe's for keeping my cars running and entertaining my crazy questions!

My car was towed here via the Silver Lake Police, I am a disabled Veteran for minor traffic misdemeanor no hold on it I called and emailed this facility multiple times with no response. This happened multiple times, emailed, called got different stories from his emplyees, first when I called and older gentleman I explained to him my situation and possibly offered to sell them my vehicle( I also had a third-party buyer that would have paid the bill and would have made me money on the vehicle because it was worth $6,800 )he told me that the owner might do that and that they would call me back . That didnt happen. Next call, a female employee, ask me what my criminal offense was and why I got pulled over. I told her there was no criminal offense that the bill was between me and them at this point it was $568 anf some change, which I could have worked with.there was no police involvement or hold on my vehicle , she had incorrect vehicle under my name, with my VIN, told me they would sell it for $1,000 at auction. I asked every employee that I talked to you on the phone for a copy of my inventory sheet of the vehicle that they would have to possess nobody could produce it. I told her I have worked a towing companies in the past via my job and that's not how that goes and then I wanted to know who did the inventory on my vehicle she stated the police would have done that but when I handed my keys to the police they told me to tow yard would do that. This why they had to go outside and look for my vehicle because the information they had at Joe's Auto was incorrect due to their intake process being inaccurate .THE Female employee put me on hold and had to go outside and look for the vehicle blamed the inaccuracy on the police. She then put me on hold and had the Son of the owner, which I knew it was him because I looked them up. I. They have not made any contact with me whatsoever everybody on the phone that I spoke to or my daughter spoke to from there while I was hospitalized told me a different story. By this time the vehicle is sitting there and the bill is well over $1,000 .Basically told me they were going to sell it at auction that's what their female employee told me. The female employee probably asked me 10 times why I never came and got my car, I told her not to ask me that again that I was 45 minutes away with no way of getting there which is why I was calling on the phone. I called when the bill was affordable and they let it accrue, on purpose. I to this day do not know where my car is or any of the property that was inside of it. There are birth certificates, social security cards ,the title to the vehicle and other forms in the vehicle Still to this day no contact from them has been made about my property.

Today I was in need of a tow and I called. They had someone out in less than 2 hours. I didn’t need a tow after all. The young man jumped my car and it started right up. They made a stressful situation much better. I highly recommend them the next time you are in need.

I recently took my teen daughter’s car to Joe’s. They were able to quickly identify the problem and get the necessary work done in just a few hours at half the price that another garage quoted. The convenience of the outside key drop off was great. They are super friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I will definitely return for all future repair needs!

Claims they’re family based and in the business of helping people. Charges 150 dollars to find and tighten a few bolts that somebody who previously worked on my car left loose down the line causing an awful clunking noise. Most definitely not what I was expecting. 100% got me in next day after pleading with them and found/solved the issue that another shop couldn’t find so they get an attaboy for that but definitely 0 stars for affordability. This is why people never know who to trust now days (among other reasons). Everyone’s in the business of making money and not helping people. Those just don’t exist now days. Joes overall seemed like a decent place to get work done and techs seem to know what they’re doing. They get 3 stars for that.

I recently bought a 2008 Ford mustang and as luck would have it, the wiper fluid sprayers stopped working after i brought it home. I had already brought my truck here before for a general inspection and they did a good job so I trusted they could figure out the mustang. I dropped my car off Thursday night and they were done with it by 3 pm the next day. They are very honest and get right to the point when diagnosing your car. The price they quoted me was also less than neighboring shops which is a huge plus these days. I will definitely be back again for any other work I can't do at home.
