My boyfriend and I just recently went here to get the turbo fixed on our 2013 Escape. Originally nobody could get us in for a week, and quotes were well over $200-$500. Meanwhile Joe's was able to get us in the next day for around $100-$150. Work was quick and well done. Everybody was so nice and customer service was awesome. Most places just kinda push you through and don't care. But they really made us feel like they cared and were focused on doing the job right. Highly recommend and I even plan on calling them soon for some work on my buick!

I brought my vehicle here after our timing belt snapped. Service was done well and under our estimated quote. However, in the following week my car started stalling and not able to turn over, so yet again we brought it to Joe's. They overlooked our horribly corroded battery, and offered to replace it. Ok, cool. Cars good now, right? Nope, went to pull it out then lot and it stalled out, and I was told it'd be another week and was given attitude by Joe while I'm crying and just trying to explain my frustration. Left it with them again because I was frazzled and just wanted to go home with my toddler and my patient mother in law. Got called later that day and was told it was because my air conditioner was on. Go to start it up, made sure everything was off, and it stalled AGAIN in their parking lot. At this point, I just took my car home. I appreciate the quick service on the belt but everything else afterwards was not fun at all.

If you want your vehicle to be ruined, go here and blow all your money. They will make sure to do faulty work, and never take accountability for screwing up your vehicle. 👏 As a bonus, your vehicle will never run the same again, and have continual problems. Your response shows exactly what kind of people you are. Blaming the client. I did tell you there were problems when I pulled right out of your parking lot and my check engine light immediately came back on, yet you told me it was nothing urgent or detrimental to my vehicle. Stop blaming this on me, you did faulty work and you just can't accept the fact that you did. If the job was too big for you to do properly, you should have just told us that instead taking thousands from us. My bad for thinking you'd want to make things right, usually local shops pride themselves on doing honest work.

Very honest service. I was 4 hours from home with my travel trailer and supposed to be heading home when my truck got stuck in 4 wheel low. No other shop could get me in for a week and my wife and I already had to call off a day of work at this point. He could of charged me anything he wanted and I would of been forced to pay it. He got me back on the rode with only hour of labor. So glad by chance I ended up with such an honest shop.

I really liked the service at Joe's. The staff is very friendly. I love that they text you everything the mechanic checked on your vehicle and how it looks. The front desk was also very thorough making sure I knew what I was paying for. Seemed a little pricey, but because of their service I'll definitely be returning.

The nicest, organized staff. The inside has a cute little waiting area with friendly welcoming staff. A cool read out of their diagnostics that easy to read with convenient texting system. They are very honest and trustworthy, I feel like I’m dropping my car off with my aunt and uncles to fix. The only bad thing was there were dirty hand prints on my interior, but I’d take that for the friendly, patient and expert care they give.

Excellent work and very honest. Joe has done an outstanding job of building a loyal clientele because of his exceptional work and customer satisfaction. He tries hard to get jobs done in a timely fashion yet still maintaining his exacting professional standards, all while keeping his prices at a very fair rate. It is so nice to see his hard work pay off with the new addition to the garage. Look forward to working with him in the future. Hopefully far far future though. Let's face it no one really likes paying for car repairs. Years later and still very happy with the honesty and integrity of Joe's shop.

My partner got our Subaru worked on here. Our brakes needed redone and honestly I have never had such good service. We needed out car back the same day- dropped it off in the morning and had it back before 5pm. They messaged us every step of the way with pictures updates and information. Their attention to detail was phenomenal and we plan on bringing our car back the next time it needs work. Thank you so much for your amazing service 😍

Even though I know Joe, my review has nothing to do with that fact. I expect work to be completed without returns because of bad workmanship. I usually do my own repairs because of some really bad service shops in Muskegon. I've had several vehicle's in to Joe's. Both times I had no issues with the work. First, my Jeep Wrangler blew the transmission line in January's snow storm. Sent it to Joe's. They reviewed the problem and text me the cost of repairs. (I really don't like being txt on service). Gave them the go-ahead. I thought the trans was wasted but Joe said it was good. Good call , drove to Traverse 3x, Chicago 2x, Petosky 2x. Still 100% Second, Wrangler had front tie rods replaced. Gave me a complete review of other found issues. Had just rods replaced. Need to bring in to have O2 sensor replaced. Third, 06 Mustang had rattles in the front end. Joe reviewed the problem and text the issue to me. A problem with the txt was bad so I stopped by. The girls were super nice and apologized for the problem. They fixed it in a reasonably amount of time. The cost was scary but thats because of the Joe Biden effect (high product cost). (Fool of a president). I have a 91 Ford Probe that needs a little service before it goes to a car show. I do have another guy that usually services my Bronco. Does a great job and sometimes doesn't charge me or a small amount due. Not sure who gets the Probe repairs, HAS to be right the first time. Joe has a great office crew, professional in my opinion.

This is more like a 2 and half star review. They do good work but good lord are they disorganized. They constantly have problems keeping track of what they were told to look at, and the people in the office are always running around like chickens with there heads cut off everytime I go. Besides the one time the mechanic "looked" at my tailgate and didn't find any problems, he left the handle stuck open when I picked it up even though the handle not closing the latch was my direct complaint about the tailgate. They do decent garage work, but that office of theirs is a disaster and it's a miracle they get work done in there, if it's always the way it is when I bring my car in (I've been in a good 4-5 times now)

Took my 17 Chevy 2500 for a transmission rebuild they told me it would take about 4/5 days. Picked it up a week later and returned the truck because the transmission wasn’t working properly 2 weeks later they say it was ready I picked it up and returned it for the same issues. Finally 9 weeks after I originally dropped it off and $7000.00 later they call and say the transmission is working as it should but now it has a terrible miss and wants to charge me to diagnose it. I feel like they should’ve diagnosed it for free since they had it for 9 weeks and it wasn’t missing when I brought it there. They refused to diagnose it for free so I picked it up and as I was driving to betten I noticed that the transmission is still not working properly. I will be taking them to court for the transmission that they failed to get fixed for 9 weeks. I wouldn’t bring any of my vehicles back to them. Poor customer service and a rude owner. I do not recommend joes service and bud and ray’s transmission

Called Joe’s after our BMW X3 wouldn’t start and was stranded not far away in my father-in-law’s garage. A few friends recommended Joe’s from their prior experience so I had it towed there instead of all the way back to Grand Haven. After diagnosis of bad starter, it was replaced and started fine. Problem was after picking it up now the car barely ran, misfiring and shutting off at idle. I called back the next day and discussed this and told them it wasn’t doing that before starter replacement. They agreed that they would look at it, which they did, but stated they had no proof of it running like that. Bottom line was after making two trips up there to discuss the problem they did the right thing- went over their work and found an emission vacuum hose had been damaged, one of the cylinder coils hadn’t been seated properly, and an adapter hadn’t been plugged back in under the engine manifold. They fixed everything they missed for no charge and made it right! I’d give them 5 stars if it had been done correctly the first time!

Joe’s service station provided great customer service and they put a transmission in my dodge challenger that has my car performing like new. They really done a great job on my transmission work. The body shop that I’ve done business with, recommended Joe’s Transmission and that’s the best choice I could have made . I would refer someone to Joe’s anytime. Thanks Sincerely, for making life a bit easier for me.

I had some service done for my battery and heat/ac. The work that the techs did was great. I have heat for the rest of the winter. Also, my car starts right up with the new battery with a decent warranty. The only issue I had was communication with the service writes/receptionists. I had to call to see if the looked at my vehicle. The did. But no updated estimate was sent to me. They had to send it when I called them. Then I had to call them to see if it was ready. Or if the work was completed. They told me they had it completed and just have to finish the paperwork. I told them I needed it before the end of day so I could go to an appointment. They said that was fine. When I got there the paperwork still was not complete but it only took a few minutes of waiting for them to finish. Overall great service. I will go back. Very fast under the circumstances. Edit: I forgot to say, work came in well under the estimated they gave me. I would recommend.

Very helpful! They went above and beyond with diagnosing my car and addressing some issues I didn't know were there. And the price of service was much cheaper than expected! Great people and service!

Lies and takes advantage of people. Had our car days past the date they said it would be done, then claimed they sent letters / attempted contact with us regarding another issue with our car. We never recieved any sort of communication and argued eith us about it. Once they finally allowed us to take our car back, they marked it as "unsafe" for the road and claimed there were more issues ($700 worth) that needed to be fixed before it would be safe to drive. A second opinion from another mechanic, however, revealed that there was absolutely no reason to mark the car as unsafe and that what Joe's had marked as malfunctioning was perfectly fine and normal. Do not waste your time or your money here.

Always had great service here. Usually pretty quick to get you in and inspect your issues, and are great at communicating throughout the entire process of what is found, wait time for parts and actually getting the repair done.

Had to call the cops just to get my car back after 2 months of them having my vehicle and not fixing it, said I just wanted the keys back and would bring it somewhere else to get fixed. The lady who runs the place went psychotic and said I’d have to pay first (which I already had once the month before and had to turn around the same day and bring it right back cuz it was never fixed in the first place… it had a leak and they shoved a towel up in the area to “stop” it.) so I said “ok fine, how much is it?” yet still she refused. So, law enforcement was called. And even then it was a waiting game cuz she took hours on purpose to file the paperwork. After finally retrieving my vehicle back, I brought it to a family friend who was able to fix it in 2 hrs. Save your breath, money, time & energy & just go somewhere else.
