First of all, yes he only works on Mercedes AND he has a master tech who works on Audis in answer to the troll who gave this pro one star likely because the owner didn’t want to talk about something he wasn’t familiar with. I’ve owned Mercedes all my life and am a bit of a wrencher myself, Kc’s is the only place I know in slc that from experience knows every tiny little angle on every model made. He’s ridiculously fair, honest and punctual. His lot is always full of repeat customers which says a ton about restaurants and auto mechanics. If there were six stars available he’d get all six. Period. End of story. See anyone waxing as enthusiastic about say any other repair place? Nope.

I have always serviced and repaired my cars at Meecedes Benz dealerships. Having just moved to Utah from Michigan, I was looking for honest and trustworthy repair shop to occasionally get ideas from for my MB 350 car. K C Car repair was a God-sent! The owner is not only extremely knowledgeable, he is personable and trustworthy. He is my go-to person now because he calls it like it is, his charges reasonable and fair, he only accepts work consistent with his expertise and make referrals out for work he doesn't do. My first visit was a drive-by for a post-dealership report evaluation. One of the priority items on the dealer's list was a battery replacement, urgently. My new friend checked it out and asked, "are you having any issues getting the car started?" I said "no". Then he asked, "why are going to replace it, if there's no indication of an issue. I can replace the battery for you but you just don't need one right now." That was almost 10 months ago and my battery is still as strong as ever. Top notch!!

I have owned 6 Mercedes Benz cars in my life. Three of them have exclusively been taken care of by Mr. Roloff at K.C. Car Repair. His approach is conservative: I tell him to go ahead and replace the entire system, and he comes back and tells me he only wants to replace one component of the system because it is the only thing wrong. He has always been right. He is remarkably the most honest mechanic I know, and fair as the day is long. He does like to work on schedules as he doesn't want to sit on a customer's car before he is ready to work on it. So if you think you might be having a problem, call and schedule when it first gives you a hint. Don't worry, if it doesn't need to be fixed, this guy won't fix it! Don't treat him wrong, because the rest of us rely on him. He is the best.
