Had a quote from another shop for $1500 to repair what they said where multiple oil leaks. Kory found the source of the leak as one leak coming from the head gasket. $500. Mechanics like Kory are hard to find. I expect that soon it will be near impossible to get in for a repair with him as people start to learn about how awesome this guy is, personally and professionally.

They broke laws regarding the Colorado Motor Vehicle Repair Act (twice), received an invoice for repairs done unlawfully and said we are full of it, yet paid it still because they know we are right. Would not recommend going there, the place is full of crooks. But they are very responsive when attorneys are involved!

My car broke down while I was on a road trip this weekend and K C Mechanics was the closest place to tow it to. I am so glad they were, what a wonderful place! Kory diagnosed my problem quickly. However, the new fuel pump he purchased from Autozone did not fit properly in the original plastic fuel cage assembly. The plastic lock ring at the bottom of the fuel pump motor body did not fit the new pump and it could not lock the pump vertically into the cage. If Kory was aware during the install then it's poor quality work. If he wasn't, the lock ring could not hold the pump, it dropped down from its seat and lost all fuel pressure. Another mechanic removed his work to discover this problem. He installed the proper new pump and it works fine. I called Kory to explain. I did not ask for the $150 labor because he has the right of first repair. But I did want the $150 he charged for the pump. He could return his new pump to Autozone, explain the improper pump dimension design and get his refund. However, Kory would not respond to this idea. He was bluntly rude and pugnacious. He told me the warranty on his invoice was worthless and that I could sue him if I didn't like it. Not trust worthy. Bad business practice. He owes me.

Good and bad. Had some services done here. First time was great, won me over. The lady working in the office is awesome. She's friendly and honest. 2nd time in... Rough sound from engine. They had it for 3 days. I was told "it's probably a lifter. We're not doing engine swaps or rebuilds right now. Sorry." Paid $140. After I got my car home I googled lifter issues on my SUV. A ton of entries and videos popped up. Super common. Needed an oil change. Sound almost gone after changing the oil and filter. Went to AutoZone and asked for a free scan for codes. Ignition coil and spark plug popped up. Changed both in the parking lot. No more noise, SUV running fine. Looking for a new mechanic now.

Had what I thought was a oil leak and who knows what damage from accidentally in the dark driving up on a curb and over what felt like rocks. My usually mechanic couldn't get me in right away so I called K.C. Mechanics and they said bring it over, this was around 12 noon and when I got there they were having lunch but immediately I was pleasantly helped and within minutes my car was jacked up and the plug that came from ??? That had gotten disconnected was reconnected and my oil leak was from my oil filter being loose. I could have left atthat point saying thank you and I would not have been charged any thing but I had anticipated a worse issue so I had bought a gallon of oil and new filter, I asked how much for a oil change and told them I bought the supplies and had them in the car, they went a head and did the oil change right then and I was out of there only paying the labor cost of the oil change and with another place I will definitely be using and highly recommend. The front office person was very helpful and accommodating and was more than helpful with getting me more info on other services as well as the others at this shop. I have nothing but praise for everyone there.

Decided to give this business a try and was very pleased. I had a leak on my water pump called several other shops and K C Mechanics had the best price in town, within hours they gave me a quote, and my car was fixed within days. They also put a new sepentine belt, thermostat which is expected on a new water pump and at the end of it all they also topped off my windshield wiper fluid which was icing on the cake. I would definitely recommend KC mechanics to anyone. And I will be bringing my titan in next. Thankyou guys so much

I can't say enough good things about this place! I had my check engine light come on and was about to overheat. I was lucky enough to stop here and they took amazing care of me. I needed to drive back to North Carolina and there was a snowstorm coming that would have stranded me for a few days if I didn't get over the mountain. They made sure to fit me into their busy schedule and get me back on the road. Not only did they fix my van, their hospitality went above and beyond! They even went out of their way to bring food when I had been there several hours. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they didn't charge me extra when they ran into an issue (caused by a previous mechanic) - they fixed the issue the other mechanic created at no extra charge. This is hands down the best place in town! If I lived in the area this would no doubt be my go-to shop.

This is my second time to KC mechanics, the first time my car was fixed immediately and had ran perfectly since. A year later Now I had an issue with my power steering hose I had a bunch of issues and I was just about to give up and so my car. I remembered how great they were the first time and immediately got to take my car in. . As soon as the part came in my car was fixed the next day it still sounded a little rough still and Kory wanted to make sure everything was perfect before I picked up. His sister Kept me informed about each update and gave so much concern to my feelings. I’m a single mom and this vehicle is the only thing I have. My car was in perfect order the next day. And even diagnosed with future issues I will have with my breaks. The cost is affordable for any single mom. I will be coming in for my breaks soon because this mechanics shop isn’t just out to make money ❤️ My heart goes out to this shop. They helped my little family so much!
