My mother and I just purchased a 2004 Honda Civic LX with 32,000 original miles. We took our car to K&E for state inspection, and didn't know what to expect. I have to tell you, this was a very positive learning experience from start to finish. The mechanic (owner) told us we needed front brakes, and did an outstanding job, for a very reasonable price. In the future, if I have any automotive needs I will definitely go back there. They are very honest (don't try to rip you off), and I highly recommend them. I guarantee you'll be very pleased with their service. They are located right on 8th avenue in Homestead(caddy corner to Walgreens).

One of my spark plug coils went out and the Advance Auto Parts down the street recommended this place. I was so impressed with them! I dropped my car off and they called me with a quote shortly afterward. The price was MUCH less than the dealership ($282 versus the $750 at the dealership) because their labor cost is way less. The guy told me I may be able to find the part for less elsewhere and if I did, they'd be happy to install it. I didn't go to the effort but I was happy the option was offered to me. They finished my car an hour earlier than predicted. It's running perfectly smooth now so the next car problem I have I'm going to them. On a side note, the place looks like an old gas station but they are great so overlook the non-fancy appearance.

This was my first time at K&E, but I chose them because they have great mechanics (one of them has done my car work for a long time) and all 5 star reviews. They diagnosed my issues perfectly, and the price was the most honest I've seen with any local auto shop. My car handles beautifully now with the new tie rod, and the ticking I was hearing wasn't my timing chain, it was my compressor, so I have air conditioning again now. They also didn't try to change out brakes that were still good, replacing only the ones that were required (a lot of dishonest auto shops will tell you that you need new brakes all around when that's not the case.) The price was so good that I'll probably take my cars here for most issues rather than doing the work myself. I'm extremely satisfied, which is rare for my experiences with auto shops. 5 stars well earned.

Thought I blew my transmission to get the candy he gave me an estimate of 5 grand when I went to pick the car up they even have a person there asked me to buy my car for $200 bucks I took it somewhere else ended up being a hose 425 bucks out the door
