Gave this place a try after recieving an ad in the mail made an appointment to come in for an oil change. The staff was quick and attentive and didn't try to upsale me on unnecessary things or work; prices are extremely fair.

If i could give them 0 stars i would. DO NOT COME HERE. I live 2 mins away and will not be coming here ever again. I paid them for an AC diagnosis and was told my AC just needed to be cleaned. I paid $125 and then 3 weeks later my AC started to act up. I call and let them know my situation and was told bring it in any day mon-fri before 12. So i take it on a Monday right before 12 and was told to bring it back another time. So the following week i take it in on a Wednesday before 12 and was told AGAIN to bring it back another time. I then asked for a refund and was told they were doing my a favor.. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere reliable instead of coming here. They will waste your time and money. DO NOT COME HERE

Replaced bad control arms and strut tower parts. Mike’s doctor degree in science is helpful when we discuss repair plans. Also note that my tire balance was was way off normal range(Pic 3) , because the previous shop didn’t remove old weights before applying new one. Off by a quarter is consider unconformable to ride and my car was like experiencing earthquake at 70mph.

Bought a used vehicle and wanted to get an oil change, so used Groupon and found a deal with them. Went to make an appointment and told they had nothing available that week and to try next week. Called Monday morning when they opened and was told thay they could not do an oil change for my BMW because it was 10k miles and the one I bought was 5k and they didn't do 10k. I was little upset because there was no disclaimers or exclusion on the deal at that time (they have since updated it and do in fact do oil changes on bmws) but tried to get a refund. Since it had been over 3 days, they could not do a refund at Groupon, and when Groupon reached out to them, they told Groupon thay they do honor the deal. Groupon then told me that if I have a problem, I could transfer it to someone else as a voucher and have them use it. A friend of mine's daughter just got a car as well and needed an oil change pretty badly, so I was okay with just gifting it to them. He made an appointment, and when he went in on that day, was told that they don't work on miatas. This was the second time it was not honored and tried to get a refund again. Groupon, once again, reached out, and was told that there was no appointment and that was the reason they could not honor it. Having a company lie twice, just to not honor a Groupon means I'll never go to this store. My friend was even gonna have then do $300+ worth of fixes since it was gonna be there anyway, but not anymore. If you do go here, I hope you have a good experience, I just want to warn people of possibilities.

Great auto shop! I believe it’s woman co-owned and this seems to set them apart from competitors. Both owners and very kind and accommodating - thanks for almost always managing to get my cars in, even when you’re busy! As a Turo host, I appreciate the fast turnaround and great prices. Services provided to me: oil changes, serpentine drive belt, brakes and brake fluid The shop always smells so nice, has thriving plants, and has indoor + outdoor (shaded) seating

Scratched my door on an older truck. Owner and staff were unprofessional when asked about it. Owner and staff mocked age of vehicle while offering no resolution. I will never being a vehicle back here and do not appreciate the dishonesty.

I’ve been driving for 30 years. Unfortunately, the stigma about mechanics and their ridiculous labor cost, and the actual price of the part … Had been the case for me for years. I would leave feeling seriously taken advantage of and completely overcharged. When I first went to KBAutomotive, I was starting over in life. This was 11 years ago. I had went back to school and had gotten an old car, that needed a lot of work done. I was a full-time student, with a daughter in elementary school. At that time, I was only receiving FASFA an EBT. When I took my car to them, I couldn’t afford all the work that needed to be done on my fixed income. Not only do I love to support family owned businesses, and this review is long overdue, but the biggest reasons why my daughter and I will be returning customers to KB automotive from here on out is . It is the genuine kindness the wife and husband expressed to me 11 years ago, which I haven’t forgotten and I greatly appreciated what they did for me. I told them my situation, when I was in school, and that I was gonna have to come back when I had the money . They still had the best prices than their local competitors. They didn’t just say OK come back when you have the money, they let me know about a program for students and low income households that I wasn’t aware of . This program offered grants to help pay for the repairs needed. I never thought I was going to get this grant. I filled it out anyways and I stressed over my car. It wasn’t long at all , when I received a letter in the mail that I qualified for the grant. Never did I imagine this grant was enough to pay almost 75% of the total cost of the repairs . They were truly a blessing to me at that time in my life . I needed that help just to get me to school and back and pick my daughter up from school. Needless to say I’ve had a few cars since then, knock on wood they have not had to have any major repairs. Just maintenance. A full synthetic, oil change from KB automotive , costs me half the price then what Valvoline, Midas, and Pep Boys were trying to charge me. Since then, my daughter, who is now a driver of two years , brings both of the cars there for the oil changes , and their smog’s , or whatever maintenance that may be required. I hope people take the time , to read this review. This family owned business is a rare and dying breed a business owners. For someone like me to say that they have earned my trust is something I can’t even say about people that are in my close circle of colleagues , and business associates. I highly recommend you take your vehicle to KB automotive .You’ll be treated fairly, you will feel acknowledged and you know it’s genuine and it’s not just a butter you up to hit you with all these expensive repairs. It’s a great company that deserves more than five stars. I’d give them 100 stars if I could.

This place is awful. The service is incredible dishonest. Back in February 205, took my 2015 ford escape for a valve canister replacement and the owner said he would have taken care of. My car had the engine light on so I took my car to another mechanic I found through a referral and they told me the valve was NEVER replaced. This is not the first time I am having issues with them. My husband also took his Jaguar and they confirmed they could work on the AC. After spending almost 2 k, nothing was done !!!!! This business is completely focused on money other than honesty or costumer satisfaction. In fact, they constantly advertise cheap services as a way to make more and prioritize their business. Never again and well deserved a 0 star !!!!!!!!

I feel they are gougers. I recently went there for their advertised $49.99 oil change special and paid $122.00. To be fair, my car takes more than the five quarts allowed at the special price, but $122? Why did I pay an additional $68.00 for 4 qts of oil and a filter upgrade? Walmart charges an additional $2.75 per qt of extra oil, not $15.00. They also quoted me $1000 for a ball joint replacement. I went elsewhere and got it done for $325.00. The people there are real nice, (They gave me a free banana while I waited 1.5 hours for my oil change.) Keep an eye on your wallet.

This place is great! I went in to change my brakes and other maintenance and the customer is service is great. I got called back for them to show me the damages and worn out parts my car needed before going forward with the repairs. Prices are great and the work they do is great. My car is running great. No lie it’s running better than before. Even my girl notice the difference! I’ll be coming back
