Really the only mechanic I would trust with my 1998 ford ranger. Its been maintained here for 20 years. Kelly and his wife run the shop and he can pretty much tell you whats possible when it comes to keeping your vehicle alive at the lowest cost. He provides some free, invaluable advice every time I need it. Much recommended!

Good experience with KC Auto, Kelly is a very nice guy, explained everything very well. I got a tune up on my 2005 Equinox; They removed and replaced spark plugs, fuel filter & air filter, adjusted the ignition timing and leveled all fluid levels, & replaced PCV Valve. Cost $276 with parts. I was very pleased with their customer service.

I've used KC Auto Repair for multiple major services and repairs, and their integrity, prices, communication, and service has been exceptional. A water pump they put on had a manufacturing defect, and they replaced it at no charge to me. Recently, I was prepared to replace all 4 struts on my car, and they let me know only the rear was needed, saving me hundreds. How many mechanics in town would do that? I can't recommend them highly enough!

KC has been my mechanic for a few years now. If I have an option, this is the place to go. Reasonable and good work. I've been to them for simple like tune-ups or oil changes, to the more dramatic repairs of wrecks and substantial monetary repairs. Their work is solid and they have never taken advantage. Honest and dependable.

took in my car due to a lot of noise coming from a front wheel, I told them it MIGHT be a bad bearing. the bearing got replaced, they charged me almost $500, yet the noise is still there. I called them the very next morning and all I got was a “we don’t know”.. obviously it would’ve been nice to know that the ongoing problem was still there before the car was given back to me? but hey, thanks for the bearing I possibly didn’t actually need.. would’ve been nice to spend that $500 on someone who will actually observe and fix the problem I have at hand. I guess I’ll stick to what they told me to do the first time I took my car there which was: “we can’t do it, take it somewhere else” so I did, and that somewhere else did a great job, and is definitely now my choice instead of KC. **UPDATE took it to a shop that actually does good work without robbing you, and they found out that it was just low on coolant and needed a new radiator cap. KC turned my $20 fix into a $450 check for himself.

**Update** two years later and we had to have our radiator and a couple of other things fixed/replaced. They are STILL fantastic. Nice to see the consistency, friendliness, professionalism and prices. Shop LOCAL. Support small businesses!!! I'm impressed and very satisfied!! Quality work and decent pricing. Highly recommend.

Was referred here by my sister in law. I paid for a diagnosis on why my car was overheating. Was given a two day turnaround time but it took 5 days for them to tell me it was the thermostat. $300 later, it was NOT the thermostat and the car still overheats. They said oh maybe it’s the headgaskets but that’s what I paid you to determine with the diagnosis. The side of my seat was broken off when I got the car back and I had to reattach it. I’m not paying you to guess, I’m paying to you to utilize your shop tools and experience to accurately evaluate a situation. Well I guess I DID pay you to guess, but never again.

WARNING ⚠️ DON’T GO HERE ‼️ Worst service experience in my life! Spent $2000 to replace water pump. Asked owner personally 3 times should I also replace timing chain (as other shops recommended). Personally told me twice (after double checking) it was a waste of money and assured me “everything looked fine”. Timing chain immediately began making noise after I got back and failed within a few months, only a couple thousand miles later. Had to sell my car for salvage as it needed a new engine. Lost over $4000 after spending $2000. I would NEVER recommend this shop, even for small repairs or service. Unprofessional and poor quality.
