***UPDATED REVIEW*** I HAVE YET TO GET MY PLATE FOR MY CAR. YOU CAN'T GET ANYONE ON THE LINE TO REQUEST ONE OR INQUIRE. THE ONE TIME I HAD TO GO INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET YET ANOTHER PAPER TAG I COULDN'T GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER AS TO WHY IT IS TAKING SO LONG. I'VE HAD MY VEHICLE ALMOST A YEAR, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I CALL, LEAVE MESSAGES AND EITHER GET NO ANSWER, A FULL VOICEMAIL OR NO CALL BACK FRM A VOICEMAIL THAT I LEFT. WHEN SOMEONE FROM FRONT DESK ANSWERS THEY PLACE YOU ON A FURTHER HOLD. I'M HOPING THAT THE NEXT UPDATE WILL BE A MORE POSITIVE ONE. We drove up and was immediately met by Tony Tate, a salesman who treated us like family and conversed with us about GOD and life, we didn't feel like just another commission. He was a refreshing and knowledgeable person, not just a salesman. The system was down, and he conveyed that as well as every step he was taking along with Mr. Grimsley (can't remember his 1st name). He ran numbers by us and put us in something new instead of the financing we were trying to do on our leased vehicle. Business was a pleasure from the initial hello all the way to the finance office. I really hate that I don't remember everyone's name, but all 3 of them made our experience worth giving 5 STARS! Thanks to Kelly Grimsley KIA for making sure I want to continue being a loyal customer. We were greeted and treated by the whole staff like they've known us forever. It was GREAT.

Very friendly and informative sales rep Changing my rating to 1 star. It’s been 60 days since I purchased my Telluride and have not received my plates. Have no idea if/when I will get them as many other people bought before me that have not received theirs. I wish I had read the reviews before buying as I would not have made the purchase. Love the Telluride though! Update 6/24/25 Still haven’t received my plates. DMV completed their investigation of my complaint and found Kelly Grimsley had violated the law and will transfer the file to a DMV attorney. They suggested I contact an attorney. 10/28/25 Received the plates early October and my title about 2 weeks later. The DMV office on Hwy 80 accepted the proof of purchase and gave me a letter to take to county clerk and they gave me the plates. If anyone has not received plates go to the DMV offices with your proof of purchase and they will help you.

Driving into Odessa on a Friday night Check their website to see what Kia Souls they had in stock. Need day I sent them an email to check if the vehicle was still available. I received a text message from salesman Ji’Bri at Kelly Grimsley Kia. We arrived at the dealership at 11AM and by 1:15PM I had already signed the finance papers and walking out the door. Had a great experience with Thurman Richardson previously rating my experience 5 stars, but every step after the initial purchase has been absolutely disappointing. I have tried contacting someone in regards to the vehicle I traded in not being paid off for 10 weeks. Either no one is available, the person I need to speak with is out of the office, no one has answers for me, or I get in contact with a Mark in finance who is rude and contradicting. Love my vehicle but do not appreciate the hassle of trying to get the information I need. Due to this I have been still having to make monthly payments on a vehicle I do not have in my possession but have documents stating that the vehicle should have been paid for by Kia in a time frame up to 3 weeks. I wouldn’t mind the wait and would have tried to find an alternate solution if Mark from finance wasn’t so rude and would give me updates as to the delay.

I originally went 2023 and gotten a black k5 that I was completely in love with. Affordable payments and I loved how Adrian helped me get into a car. Awesome guy and very helpful. I have been waiting months to make this review, but if I can help just one person not make the mistake I did of buying from Kelly Grimsley Kia it will be worth it. The reason I was waiting to make this review is because I am still dealing with them so I know I will have more to add later on. Anyways, I bought my car from them in the beginning of September 2024. It is now almost end of March 2025 and I still don’t have my license plates. I had to continue paying my trade in for almost 3 months after I bought my car, I couldn’t get anyone to help me. They are all rude and act like they hate their jobs. I finally got put in touch with Stephanie in finance and she was horrible to work with. She was very condescending and rude. I was very nice given the circumstances and she would hang up on me. When she finally sent the payoff for my trade in the bank couldn’t except it because I don’t think she knew how to do her job. The bank then was going to take the 12,000 out of my account that I still owed on my trade in if the dealership didn’t send a new payoff, so I had to go down to the dealership and try to beg them to do their jobs. Luckily they finally decided to work and got it sent to the bank. Every time I have to go in there to get a new paper plate they always send me on a wild goose chase trying to find someone who can help me. If you call, the receptionist sounds very annoyed that she has to do her job. This is still an ongoing process and I can’t wait until the day I can be done with them. Please save yourself and NEVER EVER BUY FROM KELLY GRIMSLEY KIA!!!!‼️‼️‼️

READ UNTIL THE END. Had a great experience with Derrick Turner!! So helpful and made our first car buying experience go so smoothly. 60 days later: no one will answer the phone. No permanent plates. Lender does not have the title to the vehicle. No updates on registration. County hasn’t received anything. DO NOT BUY HERE. 120 days later: no plates. No updates. Found out my car was last registered and titled in another state so there is no record of my car whatsoever in the state of Texas. Phones only ring busy now and all emails I previously had no longer work. Getting a bonded title will destroy the value of the car and there is nothing else to do but wait.
