I will go to Kelly's every single time! They are priced fair, and always give it to me straight. They never pressure me into anything I can't afford. They have loaners too. I took my truck to them thinking the problem was much bigger. They could have easily charged me A LOT more and I would not have known any different. For 2 days they looked into what was wrong and I drove away with a $135 charge. These people are honest and fair. I will use them any time I need my vehicle repired.

A huge thank you for taking care of an-out-of-town driver whose Jeep overheated this summer. AAA recommended Kelly's as an auto shop to tow my Jeep after it overheated on a Saturday. I left it in the parking lot and they called me promptly on Monday morning saying they would look into the issue. They communicated with me throughout the day and I had my Jeep back fixed by 4pm! I am so thankful to find an honest and reliable shop away from my hometown. I highly recommend.

We can't say enough about how pleased we were with the service we received at Kelly`s Automotive Service in Medford. We were visiting our son and his family towing our 5th wheel and were scheduled to leave on Monday morning. Friday evening prior to leaving the air conditioning went out on our truck. We went on line and scheduled an appointment with the earliest opening being Tuesday morning. I decided to stop by on Monday morning to see if I could drop the truck off since we really couldn't drive it around in 104 degree weather. Our service advisor Dan Thiede managed ti get it in that day which was fantastic. To our surprise the tech Ian who was working on identifying the problem actually called and asked if he could charge more inspection time which we have never had happen before. Of course we approved and he discovered a bad compressor, ordered and installed a new one that afternoon and we were ready to go. Of course during this process we had no transportation and needed to use Kelly's shuttle service. Tammy the shuttle driver was a pleasure to work with and was so sweet when we left giving us a small snack bag for our travel's. My son who recently moved to Medford now knows where to bring his vehicles for service and we will be sure to pass the word during our travel's. Thanx again for everything Dean & Teri

Absolutely the BEST mechanic shop I’ve ever been to! Kelly Automotive Service in Medford deserves more than 5 stars. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine kindness and care. Every single person who works there is warm, helpful, and truly goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. The waiting room is cozy and inviting—such a nice touch when you’re used to cold, impersonal garages. But what really sets this place apart are the mechanics. They are honest, skilled, and go above and beyond to explain things clearly. You can just tell they take pride in their work and care about doing right by their customers. Took them 6 calendar days to replace an alternator on a Lexus. Was told it would be done in 2. Their words "oh Monday afternoon at the latest". Got it back Thursday. They didn't call me, I had to repeatedly call them for updates. And each time, told it would be finished that day. Was charged 43 dollars for them to put the battery back into my car. While I understand that someone has to perform that task, after being charged almost 1400 for an alternator, felt to me to be a punitive charge. In this economy, keeping the customer engaged and happy seems paramount. I will not be repeating business here. And this is my own irritation, they repeatedly, when talking to me, referred to me as "buddy""pal""Chief".I don't find that friendly, I find that disrespectful. As to the work, seems fine. Finally, if you didn't know, as I didn't, their shuttle will pick you up, saving you the cost of an Uber.

We were three hours from home when we stopped at Kelly's Automotive with a misfiring engine. They were fully booked for the day but still took us in and quickly diagnosed the problem. Ordered and installed the part and we were back on the road within a few hours. Super friendly service, explaining what they were doing step by step. These stressed out travelers are grateful to everyone at Kelly's Auto and for the peace of mind we had driving back home.

Instead of fixing the original problem, the mechanic would inform me of other things wrong. At the time I assumed they had resolved the original issue. So I allowed them to fix it. Then again id get a call about something else that was wrong. This went on and on till I had no more money left. So I returned my vehicle because a the original issue turned up again. I was told "it won't hurt your truck to continue to drive it that way." Since I had no $ left I had no choice but to just go home. Now a year later I've taken it back (by the suggestion of another mechanic) after realizing that work was under warranty. Once again Kelly's is ready to send out a part of my vehicle to get fixed. I asked it's under warranty right? No it's not. The cost would be $700. REALLY!!! 🥺 You just charged me $3000 for last year! Mind you..they weren't even sure that was the problem! So instead of fixing the original problem they were looking for other things that were wrong. My truck is an 02. You will surely find things worn out. That was NOT what I went in there for. Took it to another shop, they gave me a straight answer up answer. It didn't cost me 3000 to find out. Don't let these people nickle and dime you to death. Because they will. I'm very disappointed at them. They need to take down there Christian messages. You're making us christians look bad. Very bad 😞

Brought my 4Runner in after a ball joint broke on the road. Had it towed to their shop because I was told they where a good shop. I told the tech (or whoever was at the desk) that if the other side was bad, to please replace it, as I would pay out of pocket. Had repairs done, and was told by the tech the other side was "Perfectly fine". Decided to tow it home anyhow. Fast forward A WEEK! Opposite side ball joint BREAKS! Horrible shop, and horrible service. Dude shrugged it off like nothing. Luckily I wasn't going down the highway. Recommend that NOBODY go to this shop. If I could give 0 stars I would...

I feel really lucky to have found such an honest, thorough mechanic shop here in the rogue valley! Their prices aren't too bad either. Seeing the pictures of what they recommend to replace helps me understand the severity of the problem. They are just so kind and understanding and I won't go anywhere else. Alternator went out, they got me in 30 minutes after I called, diagnosed it in a few hours and replaced the alternator by end-of-day. Professional and courteous staff, they also provide shuttle services if needed which is helpful if you're on your own. Cost for an alternator replacement was $830 ($505 for the part) plus $135 for a diagnostic.

This is the best auto repair shop I've ever used in my entire life, and I'm not exaggerating. Dan helped me with all of my questions and concerns; I was worried about needing new brakes & rotors. After completing a thorough inspection, Dan let me know I in fact did NOT need brakes & rotors, and helped me diagnose the real issue which was much more affordable. In a moment where many other mechanics could have taken advantage of me, and gotten an easy sale on an expensive repair - he provided something that is truly rare in this industry: honesty, integrity, and transparency. Because of this, I will be using Kelly's Automotive Service for any car issue I have moving forward. They even dropped me off at home, and picked me back up when my car was ready - the driver Tammy was very friendly, and a great driver. If I could put more then 5 stars I would. I live 600 miles away in the Puget Sound area of Washington, while on the road back home from California I make a stop at Medford for some supplies. While I was pulling up to an intersection my passenger front makes a loud bang and falls to the ground. Unbeknownst to me my lower ball joint had snapped. So here I am, hundreds of miles from home, with a car that is unable to go anywhere. Luckily for me the tow truck is there in 15 minutes, and I'm at the shop within 45 minutes of this breakdown. The people who work here where able to squeeze me in same day for a job that usually takes 5 hours with only 4 hours left till closing. They communicated very well with me the whole time, and not just the service writer, even the technician came out to talk to me about the service. One of the techs even agreed to stay later if need be (on a Friday).Everyone was very friendly. The waiting room was great, and they even drove me, and picked me up from a nearby mall free of charge. And as someone who usually does his own work on cars, and has a little bit of experience in the Automotive repair industry, I can really tell the people here really know what they are doing. Absolutely fantastic service with great people. And if anyone working here is reading this, thank you, so very much. You made what could have been a very bad day much more enjoyable.
