A great family-run business. We have been taking our European vehicles here for over 10 years, and they’ve always steered us straight.

I take my car here for all it services. This is one of the first auto service places I have used where I like the are totally honest about what is wrong with your car and their pricing. They are very knowledgeable and they take the time to explain exactly what's wrong with your car.

I didn't go in, but called because I wanted a quote on an oil change for a 2006 BMW 325i. They came back with a quote of $115-$120 for a change +7 quarts of synthetic. I can only hope that the receptionist misheard the mechanic and added a 1 in front of that number, because that's a ludicrous amount of money for a simple change -- even my stealership charges (significantly) less than that.

Absolutely trash. Never go there, do not recommend going there. First off, the place is filthy with birds, dog and the old lady at the desk is rude, arrogant and pretty much useless. Secondly, they will not clearly say diagnosis fee. they made it bold faced min 85$ but they charged $225 for diagnosis and hopping 850$ to fix. I took elsewhere and got done in 125$. They misguide you with the possible cost and surcharge. Lastly, they dont take check, only deal with cash. could be because of skipping tax, dont know.. but if you pay by card, its 6% more.. ridiculous. anyways, I'm not going there anymore and anyone ask my advise, I will ask to leave them alone ! dont go.

Kudos to the Keystone team. Their friendly knowledgeable team, is an exceptional quality, that other auto service shops truly lack. Excellent workmanship. It is the first and only auto service i truly trust. I highly recommend them!

Long time customer, almost 20 years Started going there when my eldest son was working at a nearby auto dealership and he told me that when the local dealership mechanics couldn't figure out what was wrong, they would take it over to Keystone. This is a tight knit family business who will treat you like family. There have been times we've brought in one of our family cars (3 sons, so 5 cars) and they discovered it was a only a minor fix and they refused to charge me. One of my adult sons now lives in SF and still brings his car down to Keystone for service. I was motovated to kick my 2 cents in when I read a 1 star review which claimed a litany of complaints, but included some obvious lies like that they don't take checks and imposing a 6% cc surcharge (it's 3% which is what the cc companies charge businesses). So if they are lying about that, everything they claim is highly suspect! This is my 1st Google post as I usually just use Yelp, but I cannot allow good people to be slandered.

I've never written a google review, but this place really deserves it. My friends use this place as the go to for car checkup before sales. The employees are unusually kind and willing to help out or have an extensive conversation about a prospective buy, or a car problem. This week I was doing routine car maintenance and screwed an important part up. I knew that Keystone was a good shop and still open, so I called them and described my parts and how I got to the screw up on the phone. They ordered the replacement part, and drove to their vendor to get it on the spot. We had the part picked up in 35 minutes and the whole car change fixed by the end of the hour.

I had quite the lengthy experience with Keystone Auto Service and unfortunately it left a pretty sour taste in my mouth. I've since moved away, so I won't be using them again, but writing a review to keep potential future customers aware. I took my Land Rover Discovery II to them for an overheating concern in December of 2021. Multiple mis-diagnoses later, it was determined that the vehicle was going to need some pretty serious engine work done to it. Since Keystone wasn't capable of doing the work and didn't have a machine shop that they knew of that could do it, the engine had to be taken to SoCal to be rebuilt. Even without this though, the timeline to fix the vehicle (over 7 months) is outrageous. Keystone did good work and eventually got the vehicle repaired and running properly again, but it wasn't without it's struggles. The owner tried to charge for mis-diagnosis multiple times, and I ended up paying way more for the repair than originally intended because of some of the mis-diagnosis that was done on the vehicle. I considered filing a complaint with BAR, but after discussions with friends determined that ultimately it wouldn't be worth it, so I am posting here. They did good work, but it took a really really long time and they tried to overcharge during multiple points during the process.

They were extremely honest, competent and actually generous. I my car broke down and they diagnosed the issues, found out that there was a dealer recall on the part, and suggested I had the dealer fix it instead. Communication with Kim (and a mechanic there, we talked but I don’t know his name) was also great.

Had a coolant leak that I could not find. I never take my truck into the shop. Keystone diagnosed the leak and fixed it quick. They are very through and explain exactly what they did. I could not ask for anything more. This is a family run business, they so nice and professional. I would definitely go back.

I love this place to death and recommend them to anyone I can. They really know their stuff, and you don't have to worry about being taken advantage of: I don't know too much about cars, and they have told me multiple times that I don't need work done when I would have been happy to pay for it. I've been a customer for about 6 years, and they have always done quality work. Occasionally my mother has brought my car in and she's been impressed as well, and looking to use them when her new car is no longer under dealer warranty. Highly, highly recommend!!

An impressive family operation! I was in need of a new auto mechanic. An acquaintance suggested Keystone auto repair. Their entire family has been going there for years. I was going on a road trip in 2 weeks and definitely needed my car worked on. Keystone auto repair is a family operation. They were very busy but squeezed me in any way. I am so impressed with them. They are truly honest, caring, friendly and take great pride in their work. I went in thinking I needed about $2500 of the work. Turns out half of the things did not need to be done as I was previously told.... Saved me about $1300. Keystone auto repair has a new happy thankful client forever!

Referred by my wife who was referred by her brother! Genuine people. Family run business which is known by word of mouth. Had a water pump, thermostat & serpentine belt replaced. Also some other work I needed. I actually wanted hoses and pully's replaced but they assured me they were good for now! Saved me another $700, probably. Highly recommend!

Very happy with my experience. They were able to quickly diagnose my smog problem, order parts, and do the repair in less than 2 days. I would use and recommend them to more people who are trying to keep their older 90s car running.
