By far the best customer service I have experienced in automotive field, they help me with the situation I was in more than I could ever expected. KR motorsports care more about the customer than the business perspective of things. You wont get ripped off, you wont get lead to believe anything but the truth if your motor needs maintenance. Without going into too much detail about my car situation steve helped along with his shop members to help me get what I needed. Yall need to bring your car here, accident, upgrades or whatever, they can help. Thank you Steve yall are awesome and I will continue to recommend you guys!

Got my 2015 WRX Premium tuned first with intake and catless downpipe, but now with TGV deletes, EGR deletes, AEM Charge Pipe, and Turbo XS Hybrid BOV. Only a couple days after I installed the parts, and having those normal issues after part install, I received a custom tune that got rid of CEL’s and makes my car purr like never before. Steven’s service is quick, accurate, and honest. I would recommend him to anyone in the area looking to modify your car and need custom tunes.

If I could give KR Motorsports more than 5 stars, I would. Being that I am military (former AD, currently NG & ROTC), it is easy for many big name shops and dealerships to try and take advantage. However, I am also an auto tech myself in my civilian life and am well aware of tactics that many shops use to try and get you. I went to KR motorsports because I am still a learning auto tech, and there is much more I have yet to learn and gain the ability to do. KR Motorsports did not try any of the predatory marketing tactics I mentioned, was SUPER communicative sending me pictures and videos while they were conducting work, did not overcharge me by any means and went out of their way to educate me both when I asked and on their own accord. They are truly professional, and the epitome of how the car care process should be. After I return to active duty upon completion ROTC and do my 20 years, I plan on entering the automotive world fully during retirement. My experience with KR motorsports was so profound that I will be modeling how I conduct myself based off them. If you want an experience with your car that involves professionalism, quality, and no pressure, all without breaking the bank, KR Motorsports is the place for you.

Went to KR Motorsports with some questions about rebuilding my WRX engine which had a spun bearing. Got some honest and very helpful advice which saved me thousands of dollars. Highly recommend this establishment if you want to modify your JDM vehicle. Update (Nov. 14, 2024): I will not take my Subarus to anyone else. Steve has always been very honest with me. I highly recommend KR Motorsports for any Japanese made vehicle.

He has been one of the most reassuring mechanics that I've ever had. He always keeps in touch and lets you know what's going on. He never keeps you wondering if he knows what he's doing. He does awesome work. Coming from another shop in san antonio, that said they were experts but had no idea what was going on in my car. I would definitely stay away from JMS racing. It was definitely worth the drive to find a really good mechanic. Update I had a couple of issues, but nothing that he couldn't fix remotely. I'm so impressed with the service that he provides. You can tell he really enjoys his job. It's still very impressive how he takes care of each customer. I just want to say thank you again, Steven it has been an absolute pleasure to work with you. And I am really enjoying my car. Five stars
