Best repair shop for German cars in South Florida. Ariel is a true stand up gentleman with a passion for cars. He is an honest mechanic who wants nothing more than to help you. I was getting my oil changed at Hialeah auto care, and they said I had an oil leak. They were honest and said I need to see the dealer or an independant VW specialist. That is where Ariel and Krankenwagen come in. I stopped by around 10am and he immediately knew my problem just from a photo I had been provided of the leak. By 3pm my problem was solved with upgraded parts so this won't happen again. Ariel is a straight shooter and a very easy going guy who is also a guru of german cars. He is also just a nice guy to chat with in general. As long as I am living in crazy Miami, I know I have a good sane place that I can trust to bring my VW. If you are thinking dealer, think again, the last time my car was at the dealer for 2 weeks. 5 stars = Fahrvergnügen (driving pleasure)

Amazing experience! I will never take my BMW anywhere else. Ariel is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He fixed multiple complicated issues that were caused by another mechanics negligence, he was very honest and the work done on my car was pristine. If you need a shop to repair your VolksWaguen this is the place. Ariel is a different type of mechanic. He knows his stuff. I took my car to try to repair a problem with the trunk and everybody looked at it like it was a space ship. All of them told me to go to the VW dealer but if you go there you have to pay with one of your kidneys. This guy knew immediately what the problem was and solved it efficiently and for a fair price.

Ariel is the best! I had some weird electrical issues going on in my Audi. I had taken it to another place and they basically scammed me out of $500 and took my car for a whole 3 weeks! I went to Ariel and he was super professional, found the issue in 10 minutes, and I had my car back in one day!! All at a more than reasonable price. I brought my Audi B5 S4 Avant for a total engine rebuild, in which Ariel totally restored the engine, transmission, upgraded the turbos. New exhaust system, new suspension installation as well as getting it tuned to accommodate the new plumbing. Everything was done to get this car back on the road better than when it came off the assembly line. If you know anything about this particular chassis, they are getting rare by the minute. With that said, he treats it like his own. I have been bringing my Audis to his shop for years and I let no one else touch my cars but Ariel. He is honest and thorough. I don’t see any other place in South Florida I would take any of my cars..

Ariel is the best! After going to a different shop and them quoting me a small fortune, with the diagnosis: “we aren’t sure what is wrong, but if we replace all of these parts it’ll probably work.” I went to Ariel who quoted me 1/5th of the cost and actually knew what was wrong with the car. The car is now working as good as new. I’ll only be going to Krakenwagen from here on out

BEST PLACE EVER! Ariel is genuinely one of the most honest mechanics you can find. I took my 06 Passat there and it was in bad condition. He managed to fix it and even improve it over the week and we picked it up fresh and well. Never had a problem with it since. And when I needed help installing a radio, he helped me no questions asked and even offered to send me a list of parts for him to install a professional audio system within my budget after I told him I wanted to fix the cars broken speakers. Above and beyond customer service! TLDR: Honest mechanic, worth trusting with your vehicle. Much love to this place!
