hello??? If somebody could answer me on when my center console is coming in that I already paid for that'd be nice??? No one will answer or return my calls or texts. I've showed up to this shop 3x now and somehow either no one speaks English or no one is on duty to assist me in picking up a part that I paid for already?

L&Z Garage is my go to mechanic! I love how itβs Home Owned & Family Run. These kinds of shops are usually the most honest & helpful! Larry & Zach are extremely professional and strive to do their best. Always. Their Prices are very Transparent, Honest, & Fair! They wonβt overcharge you like everywhere else. You pay for their hard work. Not extra little fees. Iβve always provided my own car parts, which is nice. Due to the fact that I know what Iβm paying for. My grandmother has been coming to L&Z Garage for 20 years or so. I sure will be doing the same for many more years to come!

SCAMMERS. ASK ANY LOCAL PARTS DEALER. ------------------------ Full explanation below: Our red 2009 Nissan Altima (push-to-start car) would not start, but we knew it wasn't a battery failure because some of the lights turned on despite the car not starting. We had it towed for around $75 to the closest garage to our home (L & Z Garage), and they said they could fix the issue. However, they never thought to run the VIN number to check for vehicle recalls, and had they done so, they would have seen that that part had a recall through the manufacturer. Instead, they replaced the part incorrectly, and the car worked long enough to get to our home, then stopped working. We then had to pay AGAIN to have the car towed back to the shop (we managed to get that towing fee waived because the company that sent L&Z the part provided compensation since their part didn't work), and the shop then tried to do the exact same repair 2 more times in vain. They then told us that they don't know what's wrong and that we should just go to the dealer to get the problem handled. However, on the end of L&Z Garage, they sent us to the dealer with our problem unsolved and them having our money for services not rendered. We paid to have the car fixed and paid for a part that they consistently repaired incorrectly, which is unacceptable, and no other garage I have ever dealt with would charge me for an unfinished job. We then used AAA to have the car towed, yet another time, and this time it was sent to the Nissan dealership in York, PA. Upon taking the vehicle to a Nissan dealer and telling the men back in the garage reception what L & Z Garage told us, they all looked back and forth between each other and me, then said 'They gave you some really bad information. What they said about the part and its location on the vehicle makes no sense.' The Nissan dealer upheld the recall and the car was properly fixed at no charge to us from the Nissan company, and of course they took the broken part with the recall and sent it to wherever their recall center has faulty parts sent. The dealership was fantastic, competent, and all the staff had a great sense of humour. They really put us at ease and we knew our car would be taken care of with them. By this point in time, we were without a car for several weeks, and we use this car to travel to work. Fast-forwarding to now, L & Z tried telling us that Nissan would give us a refund for the parts that THEY purchased and installed incorrectly, which makes absolutely no sense because Nissan did everything they were supposed to do. The fact that L & Z is now grasping for straws and trying to put the blame on the company that did their job correctly is not only dishonest, but it's them trying to justify shoddy work and theft. L&Z is refusing to refund our money despite not solving the problem they charged us a large amount of money for. They want the faulty part back, but it's not their's to have back. It belongs to Nissan, manufacturer of the part. They should have our original faulty part and the 2 other attempted repair parts that broke whilst they were attempting in vain to make the repair. Personally, I don't even know that they actually bought that many new parts given that they never showed us the original broken part or any after. L & Z has given us a very difficult time with this whole process, and we didn't want to have to involve anyone above them because they are a small business, and we don't like doing harm to smaller shops...but when we think the shop is being run dishonestly, then we feel a lot differently.
