Thanking Ashleigh and the Service Team at Lakeland VW for their outstanding work! Specifically, I had a serious "blow-out" ... hole in my Tire. While I had VW Tire Protection Insurance, I was totally unsure as to how to use it! Contacted Ashleigh, and she immediately took charge of everything! Her followup and follow-through skills are superior! Brought my Tiguan into Lakeland VW ... my car was on the Lift within minutes of my arrival! Ashleigh told me my wait time would be approximately 1 hour, and in less time ... my car was finished including an oil change +++ a complimentary wash! What impressed me most about Ashleigh, is her caring attitude! This woman absolutely loves her job, enjoys helping customers like me ... always with a smile on her face. I had the pleasure of buying my first dealership vehicle, facilitated by Damien Bailey. He understood exactly what we were looking for and our budget, and didn’t waste any time. He made the process go smoothly and always had a cold water bottle to offer. Our sales associate, Dominic, was awesome!!! He wasn’t pushy at all and really helped us find something we were comfortable with. He was accommodating, professional, and kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the dealership couldn't accept an ACH transfer from our bank, so we had to wait for a paper check before taking the car home. Otherwise, it was a great experience overall—highly recommend Dominic if you stop by!

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Lakeland Volkswagen, especially after being a loyal VW customer for the past 12 years with consistently positive service history until now. Last Tuesday, my 3-year-old Passat was towed to the dealership after my husband changed the battery and the issue remained unresolved. When I called the next day for an update, I was told by Ashley that they wouldn’t have any information until Friday. I asked about a loaner vehicle so I could get to work, but was told one couldn’t be provided until they knew what type of repair was needed. Despite the car still being under warranty, I was informed it would not be covered because “it looked like someone changed the battery and that’s what caused the problem.” Later that day, I received photos of a burned panel and fuse, along with an image of the battery showing minor scratches on the terminals. I was quoted approximately $1,700 for the repair, which I agreed to pay. The following morning, I was asked to call back and was then told the required part was backordered for 4–6 weeks. I was also informed that once that part was replaced, additional components may have been damaged by the blown fuse, and that I should expect total repair costs of about $5,000 or more. When I again requested a loaner vehicle, I was told they could not provide one because the wait would be too long. Finally, when I asked what options I had to sell the car back to VW, I was advised to come in and speak with a salesperson. The lack of clarity, the immediate dismissal of warranty coverage, and the refusal to provide transportation during an extended repair period were incredibly frustrating. Given my long history with Volkswagen and prior positive service experiences, this situation was both surprising and disappointing. I expected more support, transparency, and consideration from a dealership I had trusted for over a decade. Due to this, I can't no longer recommend this place.

We have purchased several vehicles at Lakeland VW over the last 11 years. The sales team has always been upfront and honest with us. In addition we have had all our VWs serviced predominately at Lakeland VW and service has been good. Today the team went above and beyond service. We were preparing to travel and our oil light came on and loss of tire pressure an hour outside Lakeland. We turned around arrived prior to closing and the took care of us and got us out before 3pm (Holiday). Our plans did change, but we are very thankful for the Lakeland VW Service time for taking care of our vehicle and ensuring our family's travel would be a safe one. THANK YOU!

This is the worse VW dealership I have ever been to. Not only did they break my entire passenger door so it would no longer close and the window no longer went down all the way, they then returned my car to me like that, as though I wouldn’t notice my car door flying open while driving and not able to close it at all. This was after they were simply supposed to fix the lock that was not locking consistently. In addition, they informed me that I had a nearly $6,000 engine light issue and that it was not covered under warranty so I would have to pay the full amount. However, after getting it re-diagnosed at Orlando VW South, it was confirmed that the issue was indeed under warranty and I did not have to pay a dime other than my $50 deductible. This dealership just wants money and is not even capable of fixing mechanical issues without completely breaking something in the process.

I recently brought my MK7 Golf R in for service and was very impressed with the experience from start to finish. My service advisor, Saul, provided excellent communication and support throughout the process, keeping me informed every step of the way. The shop’s master technician (whose name I unfortunately don’t recall) also deserves recognition for the outstanding work performed. Services included: Oil change Timing cover, vacuum and other seals along with gaskets top to bottom. Water pump and thermostat assembly. General inspection and maintenance check. Diagnosing and resolving performance concerns. Although the dealership wasn’t able to source the all-season tires I had requested, the rest of the service was handled promptly, professionally, and with great attention to detail. When I picked up my car, the first thing I did was pop open the hood to inspect the work — everything was clean, organized, and clearly done with care. Highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for quality service done right the first time.

My brand new car was leaking when it rained and that’s probably why they had it sitting inside. They didn’t remove anything except the one piece where it was leaking. Carpet was completely soaked on Sat. 8/16. therefore, the carpet should have been removed to inspect for mold and to make sure it was completely dry. After no help from VW Customer Care escalation team, I received my car back and it has over 30 chips of paint down to the metal, it was dirty, and had black marks all over my beige seats. I emailed the dealership and haven’t gotten a response. I am extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with this dealership and the customer care team. I will never again buy another VW vehicle.

First time getting service here for my 2015 Jetta TDI. I was offered a ride while my car was being serviced, but I declined. Very comfortable waiting area with snacks and beverages available & coffee. Everything was completed that I asked for and the service advisor was very polite and respectful. Lakeland VW turned a potential negative situation into a positive outcome that I believe the owner would agree are his guiding principles. I had competing offer on identical 2026 Tiguan SEL R-Line Turbo that would not accept outside financing. I reached out to Carlos my sales person via text and phone conversations and was confident they could meet or beat my pending local offer pending physical inspection of my trade. After going back and forth for a bit with Jeff the sales manager over differences in competing bid over added accessories he did the right thing and honored the deal despite it having bunch of added items!! Was very smooth transaction and a great experience overall!! Kudos to the leadership team at this dealership for practicing what they preach on their website!! Was worth the hour and half drive from my home in Altamonte to get the deal that I wanted at my terms!! I wish that other dealers would follow their lead and not make car buying a pain and more of a pleasure like Lakeland VW did for me!!! Extremely disappointed with my experience at Volkswagen. I’ve been a loyal Audi and VW customer for 7 years, but this has been my worst experience by far. My 2025 ID.4 Pro AWD had serious electrical and software failures within three months, including the screen shutting off while driving and the car becoming completely unresponsive. It eventually had to be dragged out of my garage because it couldn’t be put into Neutral. The lack of communication, urgency, and support from the dealership and VW customer service has been incredibly frustrating. Unacceptable customer service for a vehicle with major safety issues.
