I traveled to Lakeland to purchase used a vehicle. I needed someone to look at the car and make sure it was safe to drive home. Gus agreed to take a look at it. The car needed belts and driving further might have been risky. My option was to take a risk or find a motel and let Gus repair the car. Gus cares about the quality of his workmanship. He uses only the best parts available and double checks his work. As it turned out, my car was done the same day and I was able to drive home safely. The price was very reasonable. While waiting on my car, numerous customers stopped in to see Gus. It was obvious that he was a trusted friend in the area and he had a lot of loyal customers. I was able to drive the car home and the next day Gus called to make sure I had made it home safely. This shop is one of a kind. I wish I lived in Lakeland, Gus would have another loyal customer!

Gus is AMAZING! My water hose broke as I was pulling across the street from him. A lady in the parking lot told me to go to him. When I approached him he was in the middle of working on a car but told me to drive it over. I could tell he was very busy but he took care of my truck right then and there. I was fixed and ready to with in 30 minutes. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Gus for years now for all of my car needs and will never go anywhere else. I have always trusted him to do good and honest work and he ALWAYS has! I started going to his shop while I was in college and he really took care of me going above and beyond to make sure my car was safe to drive on long road trips. He has honestly treated me like family and taken care of my car while my Dad (who is also a mechanic) was up in NJ and unable to. I’ll always only recommend Gus! He’s the best around!

Personally, they are completely straight forward, Lawton was amazing very knowledgeable and let me know every detail and updated me when he could. After getting my 21’ JLU back from some upgrades and a little tune up, within a timely matter, it drives great handles very well and he even made sure days after that everything was still okay definitely reassuring to have a great mechanic with the small town vibes !!! Definitely recommend because I will be going back for all my needs for the jeep.
