I stopped to fuel up at a nearby city. Going down the interstate, I started smelling a burning and so I pulled into the next town. I stopped at a small business and smoke was coming from the engine. I opened the hood to find my serpentine belt had been lodged behind the tensioner pulley and a piece of the pulley was ripping apart the belt. I called my roadside assistance and the tow truck driver took my car to the Ford dealership in Vermillion and I had Lyft take me there as well as I didn't have a place to stay that night. I got to thinking that Ford was not going to be cheap so I looked for a close auto store and one was a few blocks away. I called to have a belt ready. I got there, paid and asked the young gentleman if there was any mechanic around that I could get and he gave me this place. I looked up the number and Joe said he had a couple things he needed to do but would stop by. He looked and said I also needed the pulley so we went back to the auto store. He had it done in about 15 minutes or so. He only charged me $40 because I was stranded but I gave him $50 and a hug for helping me out. If anyone I know is stranded out that way, I will recommend him for sure. Thanks Joe, much appreciated for your assistance.

Top notch service all the way around. Patrick Hill really went the extra mile. Felt like I was dealing with a friend. It was after hours and our 16 year old son wanted to go look at a car. The lights were walking around the lot looking still. Pat came out and introduced himself to us. He got our price and went inside and came out with a handful of cars all within our price range. The next day we came back and the car was clean and the deal was good to go. We were in and out within an hour. If you looking for a new car and a great guy. Give Lakeside Auto and Patrick Hill a try. Thanks guys you made a 16 year old son so happy and gained a new client. Looking forward to that SUV that you are tracking down for us next

The crew and owner that work here are just absolutely phenomenal. Not only were they able to squeeze me in for an urgent break job while they was extremely busy, they did it quickly, professionally and also informed me of the prices it would take to fix a couple other issues I never even mentioned to them, not just fixing them and surprising you with a FAT bill unexpectedly. I can't recommend them enough. 15/10 they deserve your business, and you deserve their services and expertise at an extremely affordable rate. *fist bumps* you guys rock.

Joe is a great mechanic! He is very kind, honest, and professional. When I first moved to Vermilion I bought a used Lexus around the same time and took it to him to inspect. He did a great job and let me take a look underneath the car to show me the condition. I didn’t need any service at the time but came back when I needed break repair. He did a great job and charged me incredibly fair price for the job. Most recently my car got loud and he diagnosed the issue as the flex pipe almost instantly. He used some creative mechanics to solve my issue and save me a ton of money and get back on the road the same day. He also gave me a ride home due to the construction all around the area. I can’t thank him enough! A great mechanic and great guy!
