HE RUINED MY CAR! IT GOT BROKEN INTO! AND HE STILL CHARGED ME EXTRA FOR IT! I needed an engine rebuild and he quoted me $2200 and he confidently said he can do it and work with me on payments. I paid him the $2200. It took him a year and half to "finish" the car. So I went to get my car and said he needed more money. That was even after I showed him that my car had been broken into at and it seemed that it was a long time ago that it was broken into. Tony didn't even notice it, nor did he care. My car got broken into because he doesn't secure the vehicles...They just sit there on the street! So, I ended up paying him an extra $1600! The total bill came up to $3800 and he still wasn't finished with the car after he said it was finished. 2 months later, I got the car and drove it down the street and noticed that were many things wrong with it and it was overheating, badly! He didn't fill the oil, set the timing, fill the radiator, change spark plugs, change air filter, change the oil filter . . In other words, he didn't do all of the basic things that are required to be done. By that time, the engine had overheated. I took it back and he filled up the fluids after I watched him do it and double-checked it. I got half way home and the oil filter blew off and oil went everywhere. The engine overheated again! So, I did an emergency roadside oil change on my own. When I got the car home, I had noticed MORE things were wrong. I saw that the transmission was hanging on by two bolts and they weren't even tightened. They were just hand tightened! I also noticed that the head was leaking oil and the engine was rusted everywhere. He didn't protect the motor and the motor was beyond normal repair and the head needed to be rebuilt again. I also noticed that all of my custom engine covers and electronic upgrades were missing too. He said he couldn't find them and asked me for even more money because the car was there longer than he wanted and the parts were hard to find. I told him what the damages were after all was said and done and that it is required of mechanics to call the customer if any plans or money changes happen. He didn't say anything else and I left angrily with my new BROKEN car. It took me another month on my own to fix all of his damages. I'LL NEVER GO TO THIS GUY AGAIN! I should go the news about this and let them know what is actually going on there and that people that don't know much about cars are getting ripped off.

I took a vehicle there for a tuneup.I don't know what he did.The guy wouldn't talk.He offered no input into what he did or how he thought the car was running or anything.He just handed over the keys.I didn't like that way of doing business and never went back or recommended the place.

Had them put a new water pump in my 02 Audi A4 and it functioned as it should have aside from the "new belt" that lasted me about 6 months. The big problem was how they put the front end back on my car. My radiator fan wasn't installed correctly so whenever I would use the brakes it would move and rub a pully causing this loud noise. Had another mechanic install a new power steering pump and fix their mess. He said they put it together so badly that he had the fabricate new brackets to install correctly, all of which was free of charge. He had pictures of all the work he had done and damage that he had found. Not going back here again.

Horrible if I could 0 stars I would've. I have a 2020 bmw x3m competition. I gave my car to fit a new custom steering wheel. And there was a $1800 carbon fiber splitter/lip on the front bumper. When I dropped off the car, it was not cracked or not a scratch on it. I had just installed it 2 days ago prior dropping it off. The time was around 10am I dropped it off. He had told me it will take 2 hours to finish it. So I had left, it was around 5 where I decided I'd just show up. When I got there it was completed and parked on the side. I paid him and then got my keys and walked to the car. I always check my car before and after and do a walk around my car just incase. First thing I noticed was the splitter/lip. And it was horrible/broken. And I put two and two together and said that's why he didn't call that the car was done. Because Tony thought if it's night time he won't notice. We'll too BAD I notice everything as I am a car fanatic. So now I have to get another splitter/lip when I confronted him he denied everything. I told him to review the cameras. "he said he's not camera savvy" that's BS. He knew what he did. Anyhow I would suggest not to go to him. As he might damage your car or take things out. I will be attaching pictures soon and will be definitely taking legal action against him. Also I figured out from the dealer that I have park assist which helps me view recorded video for all my cameras when the car was parked/moved etc. So I will be also taking that to my lawyer. Suggestion is NEVER go to this place!!!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE work done. We were totally taken advantage of. He completely threw together and botched a new fuel injection system on my family’s 1976 F-250. The wiring job was incredibly sloppy, the fuel pump was placed in a horrible spot and has already given out. The fuel injection computer system wasn’t set correctly and the truck was running so rich, just dumping fuel and dying. Everytime he tried to fix something, something else broke and he told us to bring it back in or it’d be a longer wait. When the truck was returned there was a crack in the hood shield and the gas gauges weren’t working, they were wired backwards. The many jobs he attempted on this truck took so much time and money yet everything was done so poorly. So disappointed. The mechanics I have now taken it too say his work is some of the worst they’ve ever seen.

Parked my truck on the public street where anyone can break in to it had tools and etc I am traveling so I have nothing now because they chose to park it in the street windows smashed everything gone payed in advance why do they park cars almost a block down from their shop ?would never use them again

Paid the business to replace timing chain. Business purchased a kit that did not have the oil pump in it. Car was finished and it never ran right. Mechanic said the engine would run better with time. Within 3 month period car was towed back to shop 5 times. The last time car broke down the engine seized which was no longer good. Business did not offer any solutions besides telling to buy an engine and they would install it. I paid around $1500.00 to only be frustrated and disappointed. Do not reccomend this shop for anything.

I'm very disappointed with your service. I've been going to you for at least 15 years and never had a problem. I paid you 2,500 for a engine on the ranger you installed and warranted for a year. We haven't even used it for 2 months and brought back to you to honor the warranty. But you kept it for 2 months knowing that we needed it and you didn't even fix it. Also knowing my 19 year old son was still making payments on the truck. By the way it's not easy for a 19 year old to pay that kind of money. Especially this day and age. For you to take advantage of the situation. You don't answer the phone or return my calls. With that being said I am turning you into the better business bureau NASH

I took my work vehicle here, and the owner, Tony, was awesome with accommodating my needs by storing my van in a warm garage so my truck-mount wouldn't freeze. Tony has fixed all my cars really well . Tony fixed the front end of my ‘91honda accord ex really good , he fixed what some one else jacked up , I will not go anywhere else . And also don’t listen to that negative review there is always that one person that shows up that you just can not please for some reason , so moral of the story take your vehicle LAKE AUTO you will be glad you did !
