These guys are great. My son's vehicle started to have trouble on the way from Utah to Disneyland. They got him right in and diagnosed the issues. The big for the work was very fair, dispelling any assumptions of highway robbery or taking advantage. In fact, after getting into the job, they discovered the could get the car safely on the road without a $1000 service in the original bid. Not your stereotypical story for a mechanic. This is exactly the kind of place I look for at home. Work they were closer.

I called Sam telling my car issues few weeks ago. He was very polite and scheduled for me an appointment. I have been there with my car 4 times to check engine light. They helped me fixing it the fist time, after some days it appeared again. I went with the car again. They checked again and repair the issues. My car is running well I hope for long. He told me: if the engine liight turns on again they will return me the money. Very nice people and great service. Thank you very much.

I brought in my Honda Civic a long while back. I believe it was Mr. Lawrence himself that attended to my vehicle service request. I can't remember what specific service I came in for at that time, but I needed a part replacement that unfortunately, they didn't have in stock. They had just opened the shop and Mr. Lawrence not only ordered the part directly from the Honda dealer off of the 22 fwy, he drove us there and back in his BMW to pick it up! What's more amazing is, he didn't even charged me for going above and beyond what was necessary with just fixing my car! Now that I have my own BMW, I would definitely bring my vehicle over to Lawrence Auto Repair once my warranty expires. I highly recommend this shop! They are honest and goes above and beyond! Mohammed is really friendly and honest. I have intermediate steering shaft problem from previous mechanics. Mohammed look into problems he explained the bolt is crossed thread and challenged to take it out and connot bolt tight. Instead of up sell me the new shaft which can cause a lot more money, and propose the bolt Instead. And he only charge me for his. time.

I do not believe I’ll ever find a mechanic I trust and appreciate more than I do Mohammad and his team. I first reached out to them on Christmas Eve in 2014 with a need for an oil change on my Subaru to drive home to Santa Cruz. They took care of it that day, and kept my business for the following 6+ years for services including brakes, battery replacements, fuel sensor fixes, serpentine belts, and probably more that are slipping my mind as I write this review. Mohammad is direct about the things he can’t help with, and gave me advice on how to avoid being swindled by other mechanics. He does his research for product recalls at the expense of earning more money. We occasionally brought Lily, our 55-lb husky-akita mix, to the shop while we waited. Mohammad would give her a bowl of water and a can of cat food to pass the time (please don’t expect this level of service! This is an anecdote!). They do keep a clean shop, so if you do bring your pets, please try to vacuum pet hair from your car so they can keep their shop and clothes clean! But I digress… If you live or work in Orange or LA counties, these guys are worth your business. They work with integrity and honesty, and will make you feel taken care of. I moved from Anaheim, CA to Brooklyn, NY a year ago, and Mohammad lands easily in the top 5 people I miss from home.

Mohammed is a great person actually all of the workers are amazing. They are professional, honest, helpful, and generous. I had some issues with my car and it should take a day to fix it but they worked very hard and finished it in the same day. With a very reasonable price. Also, I came during their lunch hour and they were so generous they ordered lunch to me. BEST AUTO REPAIR EVER.

Went in on a Saturday around 1 pm. The skid plate on my car was half hanging off so I went into to Lawrence Auto Repair to get it secured back on. By 1:15 I was back home. Sam was gracious enough to not charge me anything although I insisted I pay for his shops time and effort. Great service thank you Sam. Would recommend.

In Googled and this was the closed smog check center near me. I came in and Mohammad was very nice. He quickly got my car in for service gave me a water offer me some coffee while I waited. He quickly explained how much it would cost which was pretty inexpensive and got everything prepared. After about 20 minutes or so they were done. He again took my payment and explained and everything. One of the best experiences dealing with a car I’ve had. Was in and out of the place in less than 40 minutes. I would highly recommend this place and will be coming here whenever I need a smog check.

This place is the best repair place I have ever went too. When I went to this Lawrence auto repair place to fix my leaking oil from my car. The service is so friendly and kind. When they were fixing my oil leaking. The guy who named Sam. He is so friendly and kind. He even bring me to show where is the oil leaking from my car. Also Sam he give me some water and also turning on the AC when it is hot. After that when he is showing the oil leaking from my car he go to his computer and tell me how much it cost to fix the oil leaking from my car. And then they go to fix my car and it take a couple minutes to fix it. After that they were done fixing it. Then I go pay for the repair and drive my car and check if the oil is leaking no more. It stop leaking oil. This place has to be the best repair place ever I have ever been too!

Lawrence Auto Repair is a professional and dependable place to bring your vehicle. I’ve brought my vehicle to them for regular maintenance including getting a new starter, checking wires, and my 120,000 mile maintenance, and I am always satisfied. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They greet you with kindness and always have fresh coffee and water available. Most importantly, I trust the staff here. In moments where other shops might try and take advantage, the staff at Lawrence Auto Repair take pride in truly helping their customers. One time, I had incorrectly replaced one of my headlights and brought it in, and they corrected it for me without charge. I also heard a customer talking about a problem with starting her car, and the mechanic advised her to check with the dealership because there was a recall and that she might be able to get it fixed for free that way. Honest, quality service. These guys know what they’re doing, and they value their customers. Come to Lawrence Auto Repair.

I can’t thank Lawrance Auto Repair enough for their honesty and professionalism. Another shop tried to charge me $1,700 for a repair, claiming it was a major issue. I decided to get a second opinion at Lawrance Auto Repair, and I’m so glad I did. They checked my car carefully and found out it was actually a small, simple problem. They fixed everything the same day for only $120. No upselling, no pressure just honest, reliable work. It’s rare to find a mechanic shop you can truly trust, but Lawrance Auto Repair proved they care more about helping customers than making extra money. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for fair prices and real expertise.

I trusted this shop for 12 years, but this experience ended that relationship. I hope no one else has to go through what I experienced. My car was towed to Lawrence Auto Repair on 11/11/25 for installation of a used transmission with 78,000 miles. I paid $2,863.72 on 11/17/25, which included a 90-day warranty. On my drive home, the car immediately began jerking while cruising. I contacted Sam and was told to bring the car back. Because I was almost home, I returned the vehicle the following day. I was told the car would need to stay a few hours while they waited for a part, and transportation home was provided. Later that same day, I was told the car was ready. At that time, I was told the transmission was still not right but advised to drive it 300–400 miles and return if the problem continued. Not feeling comfortable with that advice, I took the car to a different shop on 11/21/25 for a 70-point inspection. That inspection revealed burnt, milky transmission fluid and metal on the drain plug, indicating internal transmission failure and contamination. After receiving this information, I immediately contacted Lawrence Auto Repair and requested a refund, as I no longer trusted the repair. Sam then offered to have the transmission rebuilt by another shop at no additional cost, with a 3-year warranty. I returned the car on 11/22/25. Sam was apologetic at that time. I picked up my vehicle on 12/5/25. The final invoice reflects a 36-month / 3,600-mile warranty. While the shop ultimately corrected the situation, this issue should never have occurred in the first place. While I appreciate the final resolution, this experience permanently damaged my trust.

I was on vacation from New York when I caught a nail in my rental car tire. ( no I did not get the rental insurance ) I went to Goodyear first and they said that they couldn’t help me that I would have to go somewhere else to get the tire plugged. I left and looked up tire repair shops near me, and this repair shop was the first one that popped up and with all the good reviews I decided to go here. The man I spoke to was really nice and funny, I told him what happened and he said he’d take a look that it’ll be $15-$20 depending. I said okay that’s fine, he plugged the tire and said I was good to go. He didn’t charge me. I told him he didn’t have to but he insisted. I’m extremely grateful, and I wish nothing but the best for this company. Because of him I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation. Thank you again
