Where do I start 😓first had issues with my transmission John did such a awesome job fixing this that when my car started misfiring I took to 2 garages and got no where no one knew what was wrong John didn’t hesitate to take my car and find the problem and fix everything and explain every single thing step by step he had to do the hours he had to put into my car was a lot if he charged me for every hour I would have been in debt for a long time lol I will not go anywhere else customer for life every one there so friendly best place ever !

They were beyond amazing. I cannot recommend them enough. My transmission gave out and my manufacturer said my warranty was up. The people at this shop called and argued to try to get it covered. When the manufacturer denied the coverage, Lee Myles gave me a quote and stuck to it. They even capped their labor cost to do that. They kept me updated throughout the repair process and held my car a couple days afterwards while I figured out when I could pick it up. When I picked the car up they told me I should call my manufacturer and request a refund. It truly felt like they were advocates for me when they really did not need to be. If I was local, they would be my go to shop. I highly recommend them and cannot thank them enough for their help with all of this.

They know what they are doing when it comes to transmissions here. Many things can go wrong with Transmission swaps, and when it does you want an experienced shop. Do not bring your car to a regular Mechanic for transmission, they do not know what is going on really, they will take longer, charge more money, and still not get it right. It is a No brainer. For an auto shop, they are very honest, experienced and diligent. A+

Recently had my emissions done at this place. They were fast, efficient, and the cost is the state-regulated $20, in cash. They also offer repair service. The waiting area is nice and clean, but the restroom area did not seem adequately supplied, and did not seem to have been cleaned recently. I did find the staff to be very helpful and friendly, and my emissions were done correctly.

I've been taking my cars here ever since i pulled in one day with a flat tire and instead of being turned away for not being a customer or not having an appointment i was helped. It turns out Nancy and the rest of the staff is honest and friendly, everyone is knowledgeable and took care of my cars for years and all work was done correctly at fair prices. The ONE time there was an issue it was handled quickly and professionally which I appreciated.

My dad’s truck broke down in New Haven (he is from New York) and we googled a transmission center near by and we found Lee Myles. From the moment we walked in I felt welcomed. As always, when you take your car to a mechanic you never know what to expect. Techs were professional and very helpful, we received a call back within a day and we were told it was not the transmission and that we should take it to a diesel mechanic instead for further check. They wouldn’t charge us anything and they were still humanistic, professional, helpful and so more many other great description that I van keep going for ever. If you need your transmission fix, go to Lee Myles transmission at Whalley st in New Haven, I promise you, you will not regret it!!! Honesty should be their middle name Thank you!!
