I have been here one time only and was very impressed. The only reason why I'm giving four stars is because I'm not familiar with the other services they offer however I will go back to get more done on my vehicle--I trust their work. I would like to add that the mechanics did communicate with me and my partner with what was going on with my car. The mechanics and staff are not pushy or condescending I got the feeling this is a family-oriented car shop and they want to do their best. Also they had free ice water, coffee, and popcorn. Final note: they had a big clean restroom, magazines and a television on sight to utilize while waiting.

I cannot say enough good things about Gerold and the Les Schwab team. We had a blow out of a travel trailer tire on the 1-5. After waiting for 4 hrs on our roadside assistance company we just called Les Schwab. In less than 1.5 hours we had the tire changed on the side of the freeway he followed us to their shop and put on 2 new tires and put the spare back. Gerold made sure all 4 tires were safe to drive on and had proper air pressure. He was friendly and professional not to mention very efficient. Thank you!!

Les Schwab Iron Gate team deserve all the praise they get. We were on a road trip from Canada through Washington and heard an odd noise from one of the front brakes. The team at Les Schwab were more than happy to help, took the car for a test drive, had it up on a ramp for an inspection, checked the other brake rotors and made sure all tires were inflated properly, all for free. Turns out it was nothing to worry about, but they provided peace of mind which was invaluable. True customer service. Huge thanks to the team, much appreciated!

Shoutout to the absolute angel of a person who helped me with my tire purchase. I mean the tire purchase went great, love my new all weathers. However this morning on thanksgiving day, i got pulled over AND picked up a nail on the shoulder... with my tire. I had it towed to the location of purchase and was about to activate my auxilliary thanksgiving plans when the guy strode out, had me pull into the garage, and had the thing fixed in 20mins. ON a holiday. PRESUMABLY in his off hours. Didn't catch his name, but you should give that fellow a raise! Absolutely lovely staff at this location, would highly reccomend. Thank you so much!!!

Yas! Les Schwab on Iron Gate is the best! Google doesn't like it when you swear, but know it is in my heart. Number one hype woman for this place. They are so darn friendly, know their stuff, take care of business and send you on your way. This location is never overwhelmingly busy, unlike others in town, so your time isn't wasted They are more approachable. Flexible. And real. Whether you just need air in your tire, patch work, or a new set they got you covered. No fuss. Just efficient people getting you rolling again. Solid tire shop I have been going to for well over a decade. Never had a bad or even a mildly inconvenient experience -- gold every time.

Have had alignment done 3 times on the same truck all within the last year Every time something different happens. First time the tech left parts loose me alignment was off and caused severe tire wear on the inside of tread .I was told my upper control arms are too short and that’s what caused the inside of the tire to wear out faster. 2nd time it gets aligned with new parts same upper control arms new steering arms the outside of the tire gets severely damaged from being mis aligned. 3rd Time new tires now and within the 30 day warranty the fix the alignment. Now the inside of tires are destroyed. Never get your vehicle aligned here.

I brought my truck in for a frontend alignment and they did just that, advised me on what I may need in the future. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic nowadays but I feel they are. Manager installed new tire on a trailer I had a flat on. I’ve replaced multiple other flats on this same trailer over the last 6 years and expected a cost for the tire below $100. Manager did the tire without quoting me a price just did it then charged me $204.00 If I’d have drove it to the trailer place, $174.00 for new tire and wheel. The Hammer tattooed on the managers forearm speaks volumes.

I brought my new to me, very well maintained 2010 LexusRX450H for an alignment check, and if needed an alignment. The tech Kyle showed me the specs, insignificant rear out. The car was out with the old tires, new tires made a massive improvement. I am a bit anal as I always want the new car driver experience. No charge, car feels great, drives very well. I’ll wait until the next 5k miles, 3-4 months and will align. Also, he inspected brakes, plenty of pad for now. Brakes are great but this beauty will need brakes by the end of 2025. I will get w Kyle and crew for this maintenance work. Thank you Sam, all at Les Schwab Irongate. You are the best!

Distinct lack of professionalism. I’ve always had good luck with this location and the staff but today was an unfortunate exception. I was quoted one time for service over the phone. 15 min later I was quoted a much longer time in person. Not a big deal, it’s a Saturday morning and everyone’s busy. When I said I was told a different time and would call around the staff didn’t do much out of the ordinary… until I was outside then began bitching loudly about the interaction. Hey I get it, stressful Saturday morning. People have shit going on in life and sometimes need to vent. But don’t be yelling about it in the service bays in of your customers. It’s a bad look and not what I’ve come to expect and trust out of Les Schwab. Extra sad to see the manager engaging in such behavior as well.

Went in for alignment on my recently painted car, they couldn’t do it not do the alignment because of a idler arm issue, upon returning to work around the corner from them i noticed a big dent on the underside of the passenger fender. Was told they used a drive on lift but my suspicions are they somehow crushed my fender, being as the bodywork and paint had been only a couple months old and i hadn’t driven it but maybe 3 times since, and wash it ever week or so and never saw it before. Needless to say iam quite disappointed in the lack of responsibility and will now have to file an insurance claim.

I came to the Iron Gate, Bellingham, WA store to get a tire rotation on our Les Schwab purchased tires on a Saturday in mid August. The store was very busy as employees were helping other stores with deliveries etc...leaving minimal staff to work on quite a few vehicles. I was pleasantly greeted even though the staff was working their butts off trying to help everyone coming in (which was a lot of people). I was informed that the wait could be pretty long but they would get to our vehicle soon, the wait was not that long and the service was great. Jon (manager) has a great staff and the employees are serious about their work and it shows with all the repeat customers.

When you pull up someone usually runs out of the shop to ask you what you need, no lines just quick great service. We buy all our tires hear for the sign post. When we need to get a tire patched it's free. When you pulling a trailer with a dually pickup and need air just pull up beside the building and they will air up your truck and trailer tires for free, which can be difficult when you can't reach the I side dually tires.

The older staff recognize me, and the young ones are respectful. They diagnosed my tire sensor problem in the parking lot and got me in the next morning to fix it. They ran a diagnostic test and found a second sensor was on the verge of failure and fixed both sensors, saving me a return trip. The service was fast and the price was fair. I've been a lifelong Les Schwab customer (grew up in Oregon) and was worried when the private equity firm bought out the family. But at least at this store, the service and quality have not diminished.
