The people here are great and extremely helpful when explaining things. The prices are great too, with an oil change and fixing a tire coming out to about $100 per car which is fantastic compared to other places. The only downside was how painfully slow it was. For two cars, with an appointment for each, took over 4 hours, and the place wasn't even busy. But I see this as the 'You can only pick two: fast, cheap, and good. You get the cheap and good services here, while you pay with your time. Overall we'll be coming back for any and all issues with tires and oil changes.

Had an appointment on a Saturday morning to check for wheel balance issue on new tires and wheels I had purchased at another dealership. Have tried multiple different tire shops to remedy my vibration issue. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by mechanic named Robert. I explained the issues I was having and he said they would do their best to remedy any issues.... The store itself is just beautiful, nice and clean, very relaxing. Robert proceeded to perform front tire balancing and took for a test drive. Upon arrival he stated that there was still some vibration in the steering mostly caused by out of round cheap tires, suggested I go back to original place where I had purchased and have them replaced with a better grade tire. He didn't charge me because he couldn't rectify the issue. I appreciated the honesty and the quickness of my total visit. I can't thank Robert enough. It's been quite a journey getting this vibration diagnosed.. Les Schwab has definitely earned my business... thank you Robert and the rest of the team.

BEWARE!! DON'T TRUST THESE THIEVES!! My Grandma went in for an oil change, they charged her for 7 quarts of oil for a car that only takes 5.3 quarts & told her she needed a tire and replaced a the tire but still left the bad one on the car.. SHAME ON YOU, EMPLOYEE'S OF Les Schwab for taking advantage of an older woman..

Les Schwab said they would have me out before 6 Its now 6:45pm after closing time They also called at 6:12 telling they were done and waited an additional 35 mins this is ridiculous They also forgot to pump the brakes while leaving I was barely able to stop!!!

My sister went and the people there working tried to charge her $1400 for her cars repairs as it was making a scary grinding noise when it was just the caliber grinding against the wheel rim. The car only needed a $1 bolt to fix the problem she came with and they tried charging her for new tires, a oversized caliber, front rotors, labor *they took a tire off and put it back on, and new brakes which were not worn at at all and still have a few years of wear left and the people working there wouldn't let her leave until she started to tear up from embarrassment!

Went here to get my tires checked. They told me they were worn down but let me leave without showing me that my alignment was completely off, I mean the reason my tires were worn is because my alignment was way way wayyy off and it wasn’t until I had this other place give me another estimate that they showed me the tire which had wire sticking out everywhere. And it wasn’t until I went to a dealership that they told me my alignment was way off. Like my tire was about to pop and it was a miracle I was driving around ok. I am surprised that places like this charge so much yet have very incompetent people working there. Which could seriously jeopardized my safety and the safety of all my children. People that work in the car business need to understand the importance of their work. It’s not just a job to get through and what ever. I have gone to other Les Schwab and had good experiences. This place was just bad…. In Bakersfield, it’s a whole other ball game…

Le Schwab always takes care of me! I've gone to all the local spots but this one on Buck Owen's is my favorite. Customer service is always amazing and spot on. I once went to a different tire shop per my husband's recommendation and it was a terrible experience. Here, I know I'll always get taken care of! Prices are comparable to other places but you can't beat their service!

I’ve been coming to Les Schwab for years, and they never disappoint! I first stopped by when I had a flat tire, and they fixed it free of charge, aired up all of my tires, and sent me on my way. Since then, I’ve returned for similar services, and each time I’ve received quick, friendly, and reliable service. When it was finally time for a new set of tires, I knew Les Schwab would be getting my business. I also had them replace the brakes on my 2019 Civic, and the experience was great. I came in for a simple nail-in-the-tire repair, and the experience was unbelievably disappointing. The employee who helped me had one of the snarkiest, most unprofessional attitudes I’ve ever dealt with. Instead of answering my questions or explaining anything, he spoke in a rude, smart-mouthed tone the entire time, as if helping a customer was an inconvenience. On top of that, they actually charged me just to put a spare tire on — something most reputable shops do as a courtesy when a tire can’t be fixed immediately. Between the attitude and the unnecessary charges, this place made it very clear they don’t value their customers. I came in on 12/05/25

For the longest time, the rear of my truck rattled and squeaked whenever I hit bumps or holes. I was convinced my entire rear suspension was shot. I made an appointment at Les Schwab Tires on Buck Owens Blvd, and I’m so glad I did. Colton Fries took the time to really investigate what was going on. I could tell he was genuinely invested in finding the cause, not just rushing me through. After checking everything thoroughly, he discovered that my rear spare tire was loose. He tightened it up, sent me on my way, and just like that...no more rattling or squeaking. This team is amazing, honest, professional, and truly caring. Same parking lot as 2 good places to eat and a trampoline place to take the kids to kill the time. A few weeks later I hit a pothole and got a flat. It’s a good location, good customer service and very professional the place itself is clean they have free popcorn and coffee for the wait !! And they have a really cool Christmas tree hahaha not to mention the charging station ( they have the iPhone 4 charger ?!!!!!????)
