Exceptional service and quality. These folks have fixed my tires for free three times, and two of those times were on a new car whose tires I hadn't bought here(and they knew this) they truly put their customers first, and there is no other place in town you should be getting your tires.

Some of the people who handle customers don't have the idea of RESPECT., They left my truck dirty, greasy, and the steering wheel dirty with grease, my seats dirty, and they forgot to set the wheel cover, bada, bad experience.

Took 3 hours wuth appointment for new tires and an oil change. As they were finishing the tires after 2 hours they said they just got the oil filter and will start on that now. Took another hour. Charged me 50 extra per tire when I can find them for 240 anywhere online and it was 290 there. Other than that great service. Also didn't receive a quote when they started working on the car and when I was surprised at the number they asked nobody gave you a quote? Nope, that they did not. So I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere, unless this is normal. I wouldn't know it's my first time.

I used this location for new tires on my Toyota Sequoia. What a nightmare! Nicholas (I think he’s the general manager) was an absolute jerk, and behaved like a borderline psychopath. Besides that, the prices here are at 30% higher than any other local shop in the area. They tried to sell me expensive siping on a set of tires that have siping from the factory. You’d be wise to take your business literally anywhere else.

Don’t waste your time. Needs NEW manager. Made TWO appointments for TWO vehicles for today, with 5K ready to spend. Online confirmation says to drop off by 9am, “pick up by 6pm”. We arrived and checked in at 8:15 am, hoping to have a brake inspection feedback according to their signs “fast & same day brake repairs”. By 10:15 am I watched people walk in and get out, my car was still parked on the lot. After 2 hours of waiting I asked for how much longer just for the inspections? They pulled my first car in. By 11:20 am the first car was “done” claiming no repairs were needed. I asked about the second vehicle, they said I had to drop it off at 6 pm for a next day pick up. & they suggested I should leave and wait for a call ..LOL When I pushed that my appointments said otherwise, per “manager” Nicholas, they weren’t going to honor that. We asked for our keys & left. Take your business elsewhere. Save your time, energy, and money. This team doesn’t want to build customer relationships.

After finishing my Field Service in Pleasant Hill around noon, I noticed my dashboard showed low tire pressure (17 psi) on the front driver’s side. I stopped at a gas station to fill it, only to realize the issue was actually with the back tire — a large nail was stuck in the back driver’s side. I brought my truck to Les Schwab, and even though it was a busy Saturday, they accommodated me right away. The team was honest and upfront, letting me know they were packed but would have the truck ready before closing at 5 PM — and they delivered on that promise. Huge shoutout to Christian, the technician who worked on my truck. He did an awesome job. You can tell Les Schwab prioritizes safety and great service, making sure you’re safe on the road. Grateful for the professionalism and care!

One tire had a slow leak so I did a walk in and they found and resolved the issue within their estimated 2 hrs. They even promptly called me when they finished. Thanks!

The Les Schwab located on Concord Ave has a great service, topnotch and helpful staff. Efficient service. Clean space. They even offer little perks like free coffee and pop corn, but more importantly they offer an impeccable service that other competitors just don't. I will be going back there for my next tire needs. Thanks for keeping it up.

When the person answering the phone tells you that you don't need an appointment, trust me you do :-). It took an hour and a half just to look at my car, which needed a tire patch, and another hour to do the work. But the staff present and manager were great to work with. And the price was right!

Disreputable, shoddy, and didn't even do the work we paid for! We took our Audi in for an alignment and oil change. The first time we drove it afterward we got a warning that the oil was low! Pulled over and checked the dipstick and the oil was almost all out!!! My daughter was driving and panicked...and called me, I wasn't sure which Les Schwab we'd taken it to so I called the one on Alhambra in Martinez and was told it was impossible that they hadn't refilled the oil because they ALWAYS have a second person check the first technician's work. He looked up our account and said the Contra Costa Concord location had done the work. We called there and they sent a manager out with oil and they filled up the engine with oil. Not only did they drain the oil and not refill it, they spilled oil all over the engine, removed the bottom plate and lost the screws so it was held on with just two screws about the fall off. We found this out because we took it to Martinez to have them check the work (which is where we usually take it as they are amazing and reputable but wires were crossed in our family and my daughter mistakenly took it to Contra Costa which was the mistake of a lifetime as you will find as you read on). We then took it to Martinez they showed us that not only had Martinez drained the oil and we could've had the engine seize up by driving it but it was filthy with spilled oil and the plate barely hanging on....then they said they should double check the work on the alignment. They checked and sure enough: Contra Costa hadn't even done the alignment AT ALL!!! Martinez very generously did the alignment for us at No Charge! Unfortunately, they couldn't clean the engine or order the missing bolts. We had to call Contra Costa. When we called Contra Costa, they said they'd clean the engine and order the missing bolts and call us back. One week, no call. We called back. They hadn't been ordered and promised us they'd call us when they came in. Another week no call. Same thing, no bolts and more promises. It went like this for more than a month! They didn't know which way was up. No one cared to order the bolts or even call us back. More than that, they blamed some tech for not doing the oil or doing the alignment. However, that can't be because they should have a 2 person verification. They didn't even offer any remedy. Martinez had to fix it for them! They were happy to take all of our money and have Martinez do the work. STAY AWAY from Contra Costa. They are scammers. They take your money and don't even to the work. Save yourself weeks of headaches, being stranded on the side of the road without oil in your engine and go anywhere but Contra Costa Les Schwab. They are HORRIBLE!!!

I was traveling from Reno to the Bay Area and lost air quickly on my passenger front tire late in the evening around 6 PM. Jordan and T got me in and fixed the tire after hours. They did not charge me. They need not fix it. I wish I had tipped the hardworking guys. I will be a future customer of Les Schwab as a result of this. Thank you, guys.

I purchased my tires from Les Swab and I came in for a tire repair and there was a 4 hour wait which I understand, shops get busy. They refused to put my name in unless i gave them the keys right then, why my truck needs to sit in the parking lot for 4 hours without them working on it is beyond me and ridiculous. I guess the next time I need to spend almost 3k on tires I will go somewhere else.

They have great services here. I had a flat tire that was draining my tire pressure the other day. It was pretty late at night, but I'd it doesn't hurt to call them. They brought the car in and fixed in within an hour. They even waited 30 minutes after they closed the shop to make sure I got my car same day. I highly recommend!

I brought in my 2013 BMW X3 xdrive28i for four new tires, an oil change and an alignment. I needed to get to work at 12:30 so I made an appointment for 9am. Changing tires and doing an oil change takes maybe 30 minutes to an hour. The alignment takes an hour. So I was expecting everything to take 2 hours tops. It took them 6 1/2 hours. I had to get a ride to work and a ride to the shop when it was done. Then when I asked why it took so long, the excuse was that the line for the alignment was long. I had an APPOINTMENT. That means that unless someone with an earlier appointment comes in, my car should be first in line and finished first. Don’t bring your car here unless you have all day to wait to pick it up. And when I finally got my car, the tires looked terrible. I was expecting my BRAND NEW tires to look new. They were all nasty and scratched. Edit: Immediately after I drove my car away from their shop, my car told me that my drivetrain was malfunctioning. I brought my car back the next day and they claimed that they couldn’t have done anything to my car to cause that and to take it to a BMW shop. They also claimed that my car had other issues regarding the battery and traction control, which was a lie since my car would have had warning messages on my screen. I took my car home and did a once over and noticed that a vacuum hose was disconnected. It was right next to where you change the oil so one of their employees was careless and knocked it while changing my oil and didn’t reconnect it.

Words cannot describe how infuriating and dangerous my previous experiences went with this company in general. After dropping off my car and keys onsite on November 18th, a technician called me up about 30 minutes later to mention they completed both the oil change and tire rotation. However, after inquiring about the brake fluid service I requested beforehand, they said they’ll get it done. Three hours later and with no update from them, I contacted the location directly to request an update. The technician on the phone mentioned the person who oversaw the oil change flushed out the car’s transmission fluid. The general manager on staff reassured me the fluid will get immediately replaced. I picked up the car at the end of the workday, though I noticed new sounds that indicated the car wasn’t the same before the service. Les Schwab does not officially offer transmission services. Fast forward a week, and almost 1.5 hours into an out-of-town drive, the car’s CVT fluid warning light comes on. After talking with the general manager, he said he’ll contact the nearest branch location to diagnose the problem. The staff in the Roseville location stated that nothing was wrong with my vehicle. When I drove back home, the CVT transmission warning light turned on again. I took the car back in for service on the morning of December 3rd after describing the problem to the general manager. After waiting for 45 minutes after closing and being delayed multiple times, I am finally given the car back due to the engine oil level being too high along with the transmission fluid being replaced as well. After stopping the engine in a nearby parking lot, oil smoke rises from the engine bay! They did a poor job cleaning up the oil. Eventually it subsided after I personally cleaned up the mess they left behind. A side note I will add from the previous paragraph. While waiting for the car in the waiting area, a married couple reported losing all their car’s brake pressure as soon as they left Les Schwab. They almost hit two vehicles before they stopped in the car washing shop next door. Suffice to say they too were angry. As I am writing this draft, more problems occurred. While driving out of town on December 6th, the car’s CVT transmission warning light goes off, this time 30 to 40 minutes into the drive. After stopping off at an Arco gas station in Vacaville, smoke rose from the engine bay, this time it’s CVT fluid. I could tell due to the different smell along with a large puddle consistently dribbling from underneath the car. The general manager agreed to pay for all rental car, tow truck, and repair expenses associated with the incident. The dealership diagnosed the problem as being the CVT fluid being filled up too much in the transmission. My girlfriend assisted me greatly throughout this whole endeavor. Why did I come to Les Schwab in the first place? To save $50-$60. From now on, I will gladly pay a higher initial price at a local mechanic rather than a corporate entity. Time I will never get back writing all of this out along with all the prior incidences make that amount of money worthwhile. Management at the Concord location needs to send customers to a third-party mechanic if problems arise during the initial service if the company does not officially offer the service. Buyer beware, do not come here.
