The mechanics here know Audi/VW really well. Aldo and Jonathan have extensive experience with these vehicles. They are very knowledgeable on their craft and are able to communicate clearly and effectively. They are the kind of mechanic that will explain to help you understand the issue. They will teach you why they do what they do, rather than just tell you. This builds trust and is hard to find in the transactional service world we exist in. I would definitely recommend taking your car here.

Honestly best experience I’ve ever had at an auto repair shop. They made me feel seen and took my concerns into consideration. John did amazing and has character deserves credit for what he did for me and Aldo also helped me understand the rental process. Everyone at the shop was super friendly! They took their time to find the actual issue with my vehicle, they were honest about the issues and their prices. They even notified me that the diagnostics took less time Then they had an anticipated ! I saved coins!! Had my car fixed in less than 24hrs from the start of the Diagnostics, To ordering the part, To the repair!! They even accept SNAP FINANCING what a major blessing in it’s self!! Did I mention I was able to schedule my diagnostics online just 12 hours in advance of my actual appointment? We back on the road no check engine light on!!! All thanks to Lex!!

Lex Auto is thorough, honest, direct and transparent in ALL their business transactions- this is especially important in “mechanical” trade businesses. My experiences with Lex Auto has been examples of a very hardworking staff who brings great care with what they do. When Lex diagnoses vehicle warnings, or services needed, Aldo and his staff ALWAYS outline the problem, the solution and if the solution is a potentially costly one, they have suggested alternatives. Additionally, and rare as it may be today - they offer the owner the used/damaged parts. They are simply the best place to work with when your European or Domestic automobile is in need of service or repair.

John is phenomenal! He’s always helpful, incredibly informative, and truly goes above and beyond. This is the only shop I trust with my car. I’ve been coming here awhile, for everything brakes, oil changes, transmission service, battery replacement, and any issue my 2018 Lexus runs into. The entire crew was great. Aldo & Jon helped me with my Hi-end car (Range Rover) issue and was able to get CAR SHIELD to cover all of my expenses with only me paying the deductible. I definitely recommend Lex Auto for any vehicle you have with issues. What’s is really surprising about this establishment is the FOLLOW UP CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES from Lex Auto after your vehicle has been serviced. What’s an assume repair shop/brand!!! Jeff Gray 11/06/2025- Dropped my Range Rover off today for my second Oil change and I can say I am completely satisfied with the results, and service on my vehicle as always!!! Lex auto services is an awesome place. They work on my wife's audi q 7 along with my porsche cayenne.S. These guys do phenomenal work. I live about forty minutes away.I pass lots of different mechanics, but I choose to do my business with lex.Auto. The owner is very friendly, very knowledgeable along with accommodating. But his office manager john goes above and beyond every time for me. I consider myself a pan in the butt client/ customer. I like things done the right way some may say im anal But john never lets me down, always exceeding my expectations. Let me first of all start with lex auto labor rate of 135 an hour. Every european mechanic around me is charging 175 to 200. And we are not even talking hoffman, porsche prices yet l o l. Lex auto is upfront honest and they don't charge me any bogus.Fees. Most of the time, they do my diagnostic for no charge.Unless it is a true complex problem that requires a couple of hours or more to diagnose. They never charge me any of those bogus.Shop fees. If you are a true European car enthusiast like myself, and you live within 30 minutes of Lex auto fork over the money For an Uber, because these guys give you Hoffman Porsche service At a fraction of the price. Last but not least i feel the urge to tell you that i worked in the european automotive industry for many years as a sales and finance manager along with being a wholesaler so I know my stuff, I know good repair places and bad repair places, and it is not often that I say that a place of business goes above And beyond what I expect in today's day and age, but lex autoevery time exceeds my expectations. Thank you so much lex auto service.. i finally found a place that takes care of me.

Lex Auto in Hartford, CT is hands-down amazing. They took incredible care of my 2013 Golf TDI and made the whole experience stress-free. The team does honest work and doesn’t try to upcharge or push unnecessary repairs, which is huge these days. The service advisor was super friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in, and they really took the time to explain everything. They handled a full clutch job for me after my slave master cylinder failed, and the work was done right. I’m forever grateful for how well they treated me and my car. I’ll absolutely be coming back to Lex Auto for any of my vehicle’s needs. Highly recommend!

I don't have enough good to say. I am a difficult customer with an abnormal attachment to my car and a difficult car. Every member of staff was wonderful to deal with. They dealt with a complicated repair and difficult parts to get with absolute grace and in the most efficient way I could have asked. My warranty company is boarderline fraudulent and I actually heard them go into battle for me to get coverage. Every step of the way I was kept informed, they went above and beyond to help when rental car costs got out of control. Most importantly, my car was returned better than before I dropped it off. I live a hour and half away and my Mercedes will never go anywhere else wether it's an oil change or catastrophic problem. If you have a European car this is the place to trust.
