I’ve been coming here for several years to get my car serviced but lately their customer service has been declining. Anytime you try to call them to make an appointment the phone will ring and ring and go to voicemail. If the voicemail box isn’t full (which a lot of the time it is), I leave a voicemail, it is not returned so I have to keep calling. Another time I asked for my service receipt cause he gave me the wrong account. When I called and asked for it, Rick gave me an email address but it was invalid. Did I bother to call and follow up? No because I knew I wouldn’t get them on the phone as previously stated and he didn’t feel it important enough the first time when I requested it when he gave me an invalid email. Another time I called and spoke to Rick to schedule an appointment for a Monday morning as per his availability. However when I got there, the shop was closed with no one there. When I call his number it goes straight to voicemail. No call to tell me they weren’t gonna be open and no call to say to reschedule. As much as I liked their service before all these issues that have happened in the last few months, I will no longer be coming to them for future services.

I use rick exclusively on my lexus SUV but after covid he changed. He told me I needed a catalytic converter when all I needed was a o2 sensor. His yard was also cluttered with all types of vehicles that looked like they belong in a trash heap. The two stars is because of his previous service but I wouldn't recommend anybody to him now. Covid change a lot of people and Rick is not the person he once was who took pride in his establishment. Probably took a huge financial hit during covid as people weren't driving.

Rick is far and away one of the best people we've been fortunate to come across in Orange county. He also happens to be the best mechanic we've ever dealt with. He's extended our family an unbelievable amount of patience as we navigate a denied damage claim. It has been months since a tow truck operator connected his jumpers backwards and damaged a fuse box. Rick repaired the alternator and has been waiting on us to work things out with the insurance.

Came here to do a pre purchase inspection on a Lexus I was planning to buy. Rick was very thorough and took his time performing the inspection. We spoke on the phone and he kindly reviewed the process and went over some observations that he’s seen on similar models. Best of all Rick was very humble and honest and you can see that he takes pride in his work and has a level headed, no nonsense approach to his work. My review of Sarno is different. My husband and I drove to Sarno Lexus a week ago. We parked by the garage and no one came by for assistance. We drove away, than I called the # on the website and no one picked up. I left a voicemail explaining what we needed. I didn't get a return call but he (Rick) texted me to text him instead. I texted Rick regarding service I didn't get a response for 1 or 2 days later. When I finally got a response he asked what year and Model. I texted him the information however I never heard from him. After a week goes by, I texted him that my husband would take the car to the Lexus dealer for service and to not bother in responding because he probably didn't need our business or money. As of today, we still haven't heard from him... We were disappointed because he has great reviews, unfortunately we got first hand negative experience with Rick and this business. We will never call this business in the future even with all the "positive reviews." We'll continue to take our car for service to the Lexus dealership. At the dealership they are very professional and consistent. At this point I'd rather pay a little more but assured our vehicle will get serviced and if we need a rental it will be provided. There seems to be something going on at Sarno, like maybe overwhelmed? Doesn't matter how big your business is, you treat every customer like they are a million dollar customer. I've learned this a long time ago. Good luck to everyone seeking service from this business. Maybe your experience will be different from ours.
