My 22 year old daughter went in with a flat tire, they told her she needs an appointment, are you kidding me ! I hope the owner sees this. Would you want your kid treated like this? She ended up going to Les Schwab getting new set of tires, will not be going back to Louisville tire.

I run a local small business that requires a van for transporting folks around. Last week, our AC went out and I brought it in to get it repaired. They assured me the freon just needed to be recharged, no leaks, they checked that, and it was good to go. The AC was out again a day and a half later. I called first thing Monday morning and was told they could get it back in Wednesday. No apology or anything. Wednesday morning, I bring it in and they tell me the guy who works on it is out and to bring in back the next morning. No apology or anything. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere and will not be working with Louisville Tire in the future.

Bobby, Mike, and the entire team at Louisville Tire are an absolute pleasure to work with. For years, I was a Discount Tire customer, but like many, I often found their customer service lacking. A few years ago, I decided I had enough and gave Louisville Tire a try—and I haven’t looked back since. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Every time my vehicle has needed attention, they’ve gone above and beyond to help. I can’t recommend them highly enough—if I could give 10 stars, I would! Thanks so much!

I am curious to see how management responds to the post below. I saw this complaint on NextDoor also. Do businesses really think that we'll just go home and not tell anyone about a bad experience?

Went here several times, really liked them for things like oil changes and of course tires, they were close by and nice. However! Once things started actually breaking on my car their service quickly went downhill. Do not go here for actual car repair. I went to them about three times for actual car problems and all three ended with pretty poor outcomes. One time I specifically told the front office person that I thought it might be a problem with the thermostat, they looked at me and said ok and didn't even write it down. They call me back the next day suggesting a full water pump replacement, but I had already gotten this done not long before so this seemed like an outlandish suggestion. I went home, took out the thermostat, put it in boiling water, it didn't open, so I replaced it myself and this fixed the odd overheating problem. So after about three experiences with them this was the last straw as I found out I, a random person watching youtube videos, am apparently a better mechanic than them. I suggest looking closely at reviews and finding a better mechanic that can do real, honest mechanic work!

Over the moon happy with my recent service at Louisville Tire! My "check engine" light was on after taking my car to a 'quick oil change' place. Louisville Tire diagnosed the issue (my engine was fine), gave it a test drive, and didn't even charge me. Now here is the kicker...my Hyundai Santa Fe was having an issue with 'Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist' feature. (My Hyundai had already said that problem would cost like $ 3000.00 to fix---so I just thought it would never work again) I did not even ask Louisville Tire to look at this--but 'lo and behold' its working again! Maybe it was just a fuse or something---but they fixed it and I am so happy!

This shop is awful and so is the service, don’t bring your car here. I brought my car in for a simple oil change. I’ve owned it for 14 months and have never had one single issue. After I pick up the car, my check engine light is on. I take it back, and they take 4 hours to call me and tell me they want to charge me $160 to diagnose what the problem is. They did not want to accept any responsibility and said it was a coincidence. Trash service. Dishonest shops like this give local businesses a bad name. Stay away!!

My entire family has been going to Louisville Tire for years. I can't say enough good things. They are truly honest and trustworthy — a rare find these days. I brought my car in for overheating and they let me know I had a cracked cylinder. Instead of just doing the work and charging me like some shops might, they told me the issue was actually covered under my vehicle’s warranty and recommended I take it to the dealership. That advice saved me THOUSANDS of dollars because the warranty ended up covering a brand new engine for me. It’s refreshing to find a shop that genuinely puts the customer first. Their integrity, professionalism, and transparency have earned my trust 100%. They have a life long customer and I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future motor needs — and recommending them to everyone I know! Thank you Louisville Tire!

Been my primary mechanic since 2018. They won my heart forever when instead of the $3k engine replacement the dealer said my Honda Fit needed, they got it running again for $600.

Just had my tires changed at Louisville Tire and Auto Care. They had the best prices and took so much time helping me to figure out what tires would be best for my Rivian R1T. I use it for my business and have different driving and towing habits than most Rivian owners. I would highly recommend hitting them up if you need to get new tires for your Rivian!

We love Louisville Tire. My mom and dad have been going there for years, my in-laws and my wife do as well. I can’t think of a better team that represents true hometown Louisville. They're knowledgeable , honest, and professional! What more do you need when it comes to auto care? -Roger Keeler, owner of THEARISTOCRAT! Studio P.S. I wish I could give them 10 stars, but they only let me give 5.

This place is amazing! I punctured a tire over the weekend and on Monday they were able to get my specialty tires in and installed same day. Great service.

I trust their work and advice. They have respected my budget and always been open on what NEEDS to be done and if there are tasks I can delay. I appreciate this help as I am a senior with a fixed income. I recommend Louisville Tire & Auto Care wholeheartedly.

Where do I even begin with this review. Over the last two years, I have come to trust Bobby and crew like the best of friends. They have always been up front and honest with me about each situation with my car that I've found myself in since its purchase. Unfortunately for me, there have been a few situations. With each one, the crew at Louisville Tire have greeted me by name and with a smile - helping me to balance safety decisions against budgetary constraints. I have never once felt led astray and they've worked with me at every turn to make sure I understood the benefits and drawbacks of each decision I've had to make - and given it to me straight every time. They also guarantee their work without question or grumble. When I've asked questions, Bobby has taken the time to make sure I understood exactly what was happening, what it meant, and what the best course of action moving forward would be. And, when he's been able to - he's found ways to help keep my costs affordable throughout this saga of this particular vehicle's ownership. Growing up, we had a mechanic one block away that knew us by name, remembered little details about our lives and our cars...and I've found that again with Louisville Tire. I have the utmost confidence in their recommendations, the quality of their work and their trustworthiness. They have a customer for life with me.

I had a great experience at Louisville Tire. I came in for a new set of tires and some preventive maintenance, and the service was fast, friendly, and professional. The price was very reasonable, and everyone I interacted with was helpful and courteous. It’s so nice to find a shop you can trust—I'll definitely be back for future services!

I came in today to get a nail out of one of my tire.s They were so fast (maybe 20 minutes) and were so courteous. You can tell this is a family-run business that cares about its customers. Will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, we were the victim of the recent Diesel fuel mix up at Costco and required our gas tank to be flushed. I immediately went to Louisville Tire for their guidance, not only did Bobby recommend USA Towing (also 5 star experience) but he advised on me on what to do and gave me a quick estimate on the repair which they ended up coming well under. Our Highlander is back up and running thanks to Louisville Tire. Bobby and the rest of the team are top notch. We won't go anywhere else for our tire or repairs. I can't recommend Louisville Tire & Auto Care enough. I would give them 10 Stars if I could!

These guys won't steer you wrong. They give you options that are the cheapest. Great analysis of a new used car you are considering buying ($170). They never recommend something that is not necessary at the moment. Other places have the mentality that your car needs to be in like-new condition and will recommend work that can be put off. Great tire prices, competing easly with the national tire stores.

We are so lucky to have an honest, reliable and affordable garage in Louisville. We have been bringing our cars here for 10 years, after a neighbor recommended them to us. Excellent efficient repairs on both of our cars, with solid and transparent pricing. More than anything, we appreciate the honest and direct communication. If a part will need replacing, but doesn't yet, that's what we're told. If a part would be cheaper for us to purchase on our own rather than go through them, that's what we're told. If something is a safety vs. cosmetic matter, that's what we're told. Louisville Tire has never tried to push an add-on or an upsell, and instead listens to what our concerns are and what we need out of our two aging vehicles! Highly recommend.

They put 3 used Tires on my car when I purchased 4 new ones. Only one was new. Truly unbelievable! My husband and I have been customers of this business since 2009. LVT said to go with a Toyo Celsius All season Tire. Upon picking up my SUV, I noticed the tires looked dirty on the sidewalls and thought that was odd for new tires. Turns out only 1 tire was new with all the little rubber spikes on the tread and the caulk/paint marks on the tire treads. 3 were used. One tire even had a sidewall crack in it! I was absolutely sick to my stomach they would deceive me like that and think I wouldn’t notice. I went straight back over to the shop and told the Owner’s Daughter (who upon pick up I had just had a long conversation with her and her Dad, the Owner about how it’s good to support the small business’s that are left). When I walked back in and told her I only one new tire on the car and 3 are used, she didn’t act surprised at all and didn’t even apologize. Neither did the Mechanic sitting behind her who she later told be did the work. In fact when she walked out and looked at the tires. She was condescending to me and told me the rubber spikes on the tire had worn off from being stacked in the shop. We all know it takes months of driving on tires for that to wear down. In fact my 5 year old tires still have those on the sidewalls. I guess she thought I was an idiot and again wouldn’t know better. So that’s 2 strikes! Then Brian (who I believe is a Manger) came out and looked at the tires and told me the tires came from the manufacturer like that and had new stickers on them, so they thought they were new. Now if you’re a Tire shop and you can’t tell and your Mechanic can’t tell a new tire from a used tire. Or see a decent size crack in the sidewall, well then you have a serious problem. And so do your customers, who should run away from this shop! In fact, I asked her that question. Why didn’t the Mechanic notice they weren’t new or see the crack? He said nothing. Had no reaction to what I just told her. Because he already knew that. No one apologized and they didn’t even act like it was a big deal. They just kept blaming the manufacturer over and over for this. I asked if anyone inspects the Mechanics work when they are done and she told me no, “all the Mechanics keep an eye on each other while working.” So none of their mechanics noticed this? I asked for a refund and for them to put my old tires back on. As I had just given them $1,100.00 for 4 NEW Tires. And I wanted my money back and was going to be taking my business and money elsewhere. Brian was reluctant to have the mechanics do that. He said well then we have to balance them all over again. He said “I’ll order you 3 new tires and you can leave it again here next week.” I thought, yeah that’s what you should have done in the first place. They probably had someone return these tires for one reason or another (there is a comfort satisfaction guarantee with tires) and had to get rid of them, so they put them on my car. I had them put my old tires back on. And they didn’t balance them because I watched them. They just took all of 5 minutes and put them back on. They reluctantly did this as they kept looking at me because it was end of the day and they wanted to go home. And as the mechanic who put 3 used tires on my car pulled my car around, I said thank you and he said nothing back! You’d think he would be embarrassed and super apologetic for this mistake, unless he was told to put 3 used tires on my car by his boss. Which I believe is in fact the case here. Either way he could have said something, anything, nope! Truly unbelievable what this shop did to me. They just lost 2 loyal customers that day. My husband and myself. The following week I went to Costco and had a set of Michelin Cross Climate All season put on. As they didn’t rec. Toyo due to quality. They now have us as customers.
