Bob and his team knocked it out of the park! As the original owner, this is the longest relationship I’ve been in…. Lots of great times and memories with Old Red! Bob is THE MAN! He listened to what I wanted and made spot on recommendations that worked wonderfully…. The workmanship is outstanding and it shows in the results… can’t say enough good things about the whole experience…. Go see Bob, he’ll take good care of you!

Hello, we got back a second car that my family and I have had painted at this Garland TX Maaco location. I don't like leaving negative reviews! Everything I am posting here is the truth and can be backed up by evidence. Dropped the car off on 4/22/2019. The first car that we had painted there Approx. three years ago turned out amazing and it's paint is holding up nicely. I was expecting the same quality to be done with the second car we sent in to be painted. Well that was not the case for the second car. My family and I picked up the car on 4/26/2019 and overall it looked good at first glance. Before they brought the car out they had sprayed it down with water so there was water dripping and water spots all over it. My family and I were there at time of picking up the car, a total of four witnesses! Robert H. the salesperson mentioned he did not like how well this car turned out compared to the first car we had painted by them. He said this in front of my family. He later has denied saying it! If he did not like it then he should have made it right before having us come all that way to pick it up. We live in Athens Texas and it is Approx. 2 hour drive there and back. Overall it didn't look all that bad at first glance. The guy that drove the car out to us didn't appear to speak a word of English and was rude. Whoever painted our first car three years ago was a great painter and I wish that painter was the one who painted our second car. We drove two hours back home and realized on the passengers-side door there were two good sized paint runs under where the door handle is. Also there are paint runs on the front bumper, rear bumper, passengers-side fender and roof. The rest of the car their is no amount of buffing and polishing will fix it. On the drivers side door above the handle is someones hand and palm prints when they touched the paint when it was still tacky. There are also paint streaks on the roof, hood and spoiler area of the car, due to the gravity feed paint gun not being adjusted correctly. Maaco of Garland Texas is wanting to blame us since all we did was sand the car down and prime it for paint. This car has a straight body and was garage kept the majority of the time since we've owned it. Robert H., the salesperson said due to the body prep and the primer we used it was causing it to soak up too much of the paint and that is why there are paint streaks. The interesting thing is I used the same primer and techniques on the first car as I did on the second car. The first car we had them paint three years ago turned out great. Even in the receipt we were charged $99.95 for universal sealer / primer that was suppose to be sprayed on the car before painting it. If they used the sealer then there should not have been any issues with the paint being soaked up by the primer. So it's our fault there are paint runs, streaks and a persons hand and palm prints in the paint etc... This business refuses to take responsibility for anything they do and place blame onto the customer. If we lived closer we would gladly take the car back to them to fix it. On second thought, the real question is will we trust them to do a good job repairing the car they messed up/destroyed. My answer is no, i'm sorry to say. All trust with these people and this business have been broken. Their quality has gone down hill. What I see happening is they are hiring people to do the body and paint work at this location that don't know what they are doing or simply don't care. Sorry Maaco you've lost customers and our third car that will need painting coming up since the clear coat is coming off we will take elsewhere! In order to repair the car you all destroyed is going to require paint stripper and the paint to be completely removed all the way to the metal to fix it. The bumpers sanded down and the entire car primed and repainted. More time and money out the window! Currently working on getting a full refund and are getting the run around!

I’m impressed. I have a 2007 Buick that needed to be painted in the worst way. Took it to Maaco in Garland and had the pleasure of speaking with sales manager Shay. She looked over my car, provided me with a very reasonable quote and I readily agreed to the price. My 18 year old car now looks brand new. The car was ready when promised and at the price agreed upon. Take my advice and ask for Shay when you go in. She’ll take good care of you!

Took my car in to repair “parking lot rash” to the right door. Shay Smith ( the sales manager) took care of me right away and gave me an immediate estimate. I liked the price and said okay ( on Wednesday) and had my car back on Monday, looking showroom fresh! Shay took very care of my car and carefully explained available options. I am very pleased with the work done and the staff at Maaco. Jay Whitley

If you are looking for someone to fix your vehicle, look elsewhere. The lack of trust with this company is pathetic. I have 5 different estimates. I took pictures of the latest estimate when I was told the printer wasn’t working. When it was time to collaborate about my vehicle I was issued a different estimate with an up charged in rates and labor. Check out the pictures. Also check out the dates. This company will overcharge you if you are not paying attention. Check out how they had their rate at 62 and eventually took it up to 67. I honestly feel like they gave a price to get us in the door to get the job then manipulated prices and whatnot. UPDATE: I just picked up my car and as soon as I get out the parking lot I see this! (See last picture) 🙃🙃🙃

Maaco did an excellent job of painting my car last month. My car looks brand new although it's a 2001 model and the price was reasonable. I had no problems and everything was done in a timely and professional manner. Well pleased and would give them a 10/10.

Maaco Garland repaired two small dings and fully repainted a 2008 FJ Cruiser for us, two tone, perfectly matching factory paint. Shay Smith was super helpful and ensured the work was completed properly, knowing how precious the FJ was to us. There was a slight delay in completion due to supply issues and an additional visit due to aftermarket camera needing cleaning post sealant, but the bleached out plastics, roof rack, and fittings were all restored to showroom floor condition. The car looks brand new and the dual tone paint job pops better than ever. I was told by manager at Hamm's Tires I30/S Carroll in Dallas (also highly recommended for all things tires), who owns show cars, to use Maaco (surprisingly), but he said to ensure you pick the best possible service for your vehicle, not the basic. Good advice! Great job overall, well priced, very happy customer. Recommend!!

Hands down one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had, especially when it comes to anything automotive. I brought in an older truck to get painted and from the start the team treated me with genuine respect and care. I’m 21 and look pretty young, so I’ve always been careful about getting taken advantage of, but that wasn’t even a concern here. Michael, the manager, was awesome — super upfront and honest. He even gave me a discounted price off their posted rates without me asking, just because he wanted to give me a fair deal. That kind of integrity really stood out. Katie, who first helped me with the estimate, had such great energy and was really excited for me to give new life to the truck. She ended up transferring to the Dallas location, but Brenda stepped in and kept the same positive vibe. She called as soon as my truck was ready and made everything easy and smooth. The work was finished on time, the price stayed exactly what we discussed, and the whole process was straightforward. I’ll definitely be coming back with more vehicles. Couldn’t recommend them more — 10 out of 10 across the board. i will add pictures of before and after later

H! I took my 2001 Toyota Tacoma to the MAACO in Garland. I dealt with a sales lady named Shay. While it took a few more days longer to get my truck back it was well worth the wait. My truck looks brand new and I received a five warranty year. I received the base coat job because MAACO due to supply issues was unable to get the paint service that I had ordered which was a less expensive paint service at no additional charges. I recommend that if you are going to get MAACO paint service get it done at the Garland store. Not all the MAACO locations are going to give YOU the top notch service I received at the Garland store.---Be sure to ask for Shay. Shay was highly professional and very customer service friendly.

I received excellent service from Brenda and Mike for a paint job on my 2008 Dodge Dakota. The job was completed before the scheduled date. The staff was very friendly and the office space and garage was clean. I highly recommend Maaco in Garland.

I dreaded going to Macco but I was in a fender bender and needed help. When I got to the garland location, I was surprised to see that they sold the store to someone else. The GM Michael took really great care of me. I have a unique color on my vehicle but they matched it perfect and got me back on the road in two days. Thank you Macco.

The employees at Maaco was very professional and respectful. They explained the process in details to me. Everything founded during the first inspection of the job, they corrected it quickly. I was very pleased with the work they performed and would recommend their services. The cost was also reasonable for the work performed.

Recommended to me by a freind with lowriders. He said this Maaco was run by older guys that know their stuff. He wasn’t wrong! Price was reasonable and the job was 100% what they described. Couldn’t be happier with the paint on my golf cart! A great experience.

This place is great! I know there is a stigma attached to MAACO, but the Garland location is awesome! I brought my old, neglected 2002 Sierra 1500 with the expectation of just making it look more presentable. After a life time of being in the Texas sun and treated like the work truck that it it always has been, I was careful to set my expectations accordingly. Shay took this project on with a lot more enthusiasm than I had and gave me hope that the result was going to be better than I was thinking. The first picture I saw of the job in progress left me speechless. This couldn’t have been the same truck! I couldn’t be happier with what Shay and her team accomplished with so little to work with. I am so happy I went to MAaco and highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrading the looks of their ride! Thanks Shay and team!

I had the best experience at the Garland location. Javier and his team made everything easy from start to finish! Car repairs can be stressful, but these guys make it as painless as possible. I was provided a LYFT to and from my car rental location. I simply had to drop my car off, pick up a rental and I was on my way. Macco took car of the rest! Javier provided frequent updates along the way as my car was being worked on. I really appreciated the communication. The service was professional, friendly and overall top notch. I highly recommend this location.
