I hate to say this, because I’m an Alabama fan and Joe is a Bulldogs fan, but he did a phenomenal paint job on my 2019 Honda Civic!! I had a little ding on the driver side door, and he fixed it right up in only three days!! Very pleased with his work and hospitality. It was a pleasure working with him and getting to know him. Highly recommend! (Roll Tide!)

I went to Lesters 1st & he tried to take advantage of me!! Listed stuff that didn't need to be done!! Over $3000.00 to fix a creased quarter panel, that i just barely scraped on a post in my carport. Went to Maaco & the estimate was a little over &1000.00 cheaper!! They did great work, great people & you can't even tell our Caddy was damaged at ALL!!! If i need future work done, it will be done by the Browns Bridge Maaco!!

I was blown away with the great service that Maaco provided, which included my first phone call with Joe to schedule an appointment to picking up my vehicle. The car door that was fixed and painted matched perfectly and I could not tell there was ever any damage. The price was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this business!!!

If I was the owner of this shop, I think I would change my way of doing things. I need to get my mustang project car painted, and from what I have read, I would be better off doing it myself. At least I wouldn't feel like I got cheated if it doesn't turn out perfect. Your review will make you loose a lot of business, you lost mine and I haven't talked to you.

3500 to 4K for a 3 foot area patch paint estimate via the site with a bait and switch 899.00 click bait. I,ll just wrap the panel for 5.99 instead of paying g for someone's cruise.

Joe is great, he tells it like it is, which I love. He is an old school honesty and integrity way of doing business kind of guy. He won't over charge you or try to get you to fix stuff you don't need to fix. He is honest and he gets down to the point and charges fair pricing. This is the place to fix your car!

My car is 17 years old. It is dependable, but the paint started to peel off in some areas. I love my car and want it to look nice, but I heard it is very expensive to have a paint job done. One day I walked in Maaco on Browns Bridge Road to request a quote, thinking if it is very expensive, I can just forget it. Mr. Joe Anderson looked at my car and quoted me a price. I was surprised how reasonable the price was. A few days later when I picked up my car, I was overjoyed because my car looked almost like a new car. I was so impressed by Joe's perfectionism, and he treats each paint job as a piece of artwork, wanting only the best for his customers. If your car needs to have a paint job done, please take it to Joe. You will be so proud of your decision, as was I.

Awesome customer service up front, Joe! This location also gave me a competitive quote with solid craftsmanship on the repair/paint. They are flexible and happy to do repairs that other companies may decline or just fully replace the parts all together. If you come to pick up your car and there is something not quite right, they are happy to resolve the issue for you pretty quick. Highly recommend taking your car here even if you are living in the Atlanta area. The 1hr drive is worth it. Customer service and solid repair at a fair price 🙏

Owner , Joe took care of me personally, we discussed my needs and set a date and then the paint was applied. I have a 30 yr old Blazer and was restoring it. They worked hard to help finish my project. I opted for the base and clear job which came out very nice. Lol now to reassemble the old girl!

Inherited a 2005 Toyota Tacoma with heavy sun damage to paint..needed a re-paint. There aren"t many that will do it without exotic coatings & $$$. I made about 4-5 phone calls, got 1 estimate and wasnt confident in it. I called Maaco in Gainesville & realized I was talking to owner who was fair-minded. He examined the truck, quoted me a fair $ for the minor damage & re-paint. I left truck with him, took Uber back to Johns Creek. Eight days later, truck was ready to go..looked really good, just as described for quote. I'm happy and would come back.

Took my 1996 Toyota Tacoma in to get it repainted and some places repaired. This truck has been in the family for 28 years. I did the one line estimate and was surprised at the quote. I had two other place give me $10,000 quotes. The first place didn’t even look at it. Told me insurance companies demand 1a and lifetime warranty. The second place did come look at it and said it really wasn’t bad but it would be just like the first one and same deal. I went over and talked to Joe the owner for the in person quote. It was actually lower than on line. I dropped it off the next day. They asked me and it was ready two day befor promised. It looks great. I did get the higher option which came wit a 5 year and clear coat. Very happy with the outcome. They even took the liner out, sanded the old stripes off and got the damaged fixed.

This review is for the budget DIY'ers who want to do their own prep work and get an excellent paint job that they can feel proud of. For all others, keep in mind that a factory quality paint job is going to start around $5,000 if you don't want the door jambs painted and don't need any body work, and anything fancy is going to run $10,000+. Don't expect to take it you '85 accord and get a nice paint job for $1,000. Anyway, my car is a 2009 Pontiac vibe, which was in great shape except for the factory paint which is notoriously bad on that model. I looked at a couple dozen vibes and bought the best looking one I could find, but it was still a disaster and I bought it with the intention of having it repainted. When I was in the Army I could rent a professional down draft paint booth for $50/day on post, but I don't have that luxury anymore. After some research and visiting several budget shops, I decided to have it sprayed at Maaco in Gainesville. I've looked at several Maacos and seen plenty of overspray, runs, and fish eyes, but i didn't see any of that at the Gainesville location and the staff seemed to take pride in their work (probably happy not to be doing a $299 special for an owner insisting they don't need any prep work done). I came in before I started my prepping and got a quote of $1100 for epoxy primer, original color base, and 3 coats of clear. That didn't include any prep work besides degreasing and masking, or any finish work like denibing, buffing, etc. I hit a couple roadblocks when it came to prepping. My planned 1.5 weeks of prepping stretched to 3 weeks, and I decided to take it in and let the folks at Maaco sort out the last of the sanding/priming. Before I brought the car in I washed it and degreased it with lacquer thinner, removed the spoiler, lights, mirrors, door handles, grills, badges, rubber window and door seals, windshield wipers, wiper valence, etc. I realigned all the panels, filled about a dozen small dents, feathered out hundreds of rock chips, and blocked the whole car to p400. I didn't have time to sand the door handles or scuff some of the panel edges, there where a couple spots where the body filler needed shaping or still had pinholes, and numerous spots where the body filler was exposed and needed to be primed. There where also some deep sanding scratches on the bumper that I missed and a small dent on the fender I never even noticed, and some areas where there was still a little orange peel and edge mapping in the primer that I used. I brought it in asking them to finish and double check the prep work and my revised quote was a very reasonable $1,340. I brought the car in on Monday just before closing and it was ready by Thursday afternoon. When I picked it up, I was extremely happy with the result. I cannot fault a single thing with the paint job. The charcoal metallic base is perfectly even without any tiger stripes or imperfections I can perceive. I cannot find a single drop of overspray, and there are no hard masking lines even where they would be hidden by trim. There are some dust nibs and a few very slight runs, but for the price I am 100% OK with that, especially when the staff knew I was planning th cut and buff anyway. As for the prep work, there are still a couple sanding scratches showing through on the bumper, and there are a couple places where the filler isn't 100% perfect. If my prep work had been perfect, this would have been a show quality paint job, but as it is my car is straighter than most cars on the showroom floor, and after I rub it out it will look better than 99% of cars on the road. If I spend two days on rubbing out then I'll have 200 hours into the paint job along with $1500 (including consumables), and I'll likely have the nicest looking mid-grade hatchback within a 100 mile radius. I would highly recommend this Maaco to anyone who is looking to do something similar, you won't be disappointed with the quality and attention to detail.

Fantastic service. I brought in my old 05 accord to be repainted. It had so many dents and scratches in it. Maaco was able to fix all of that and paint it British racing green. It looks like a brand new car! It’s difficult to for me to put into words but this car i was embarrassed to drive for so many years, I’m now proud to drive. I included a before and after.

This is a mixed review. I had my entire car painted with the "2 Stage Premium" service. On the Good side, the paint looks pretty good, better than I could have done, but not quite as good as the factory finish. There are a couple runs, and a few pieces of debris in the paint, but coverage is good and minimal orange peel. On the Bad side, I had removed the wing off the car to make it easier to paint, but there are now 2 stripes on the bottom side where it was not painted at all (see picture). There were a number of places where the masking was not great, leading to overspray on some of the black plastic parts (see pictures). The driver's side mirror has a mark that looks like where tape was used to mask the mirror off, but clearly some of the clear coat got under the masking and fogged the mirror around the tape (see picture). And I have no idea how this happened or even how to describe it, but there are two parallel "cut" marks about 6" long on the C-pillar that are under the paint (see picture). And then there is the Ugly, like where the polisher/sander took a swipe at one of the tail lights (see picture). One of the license plate screws and backing nuts disappeared (see picture), so the license plate about fell off on the drive home. And one of the trim moldings on the side of the car looks like a drill was taken to it to try to remove it, but instead they broke it and did a poor job gluing it back together (see pictures) -- that cost me $100 for a new piece. So moral is: take everything off the car you possibly can, and you will probably end up pretty happy. Otherwise, be prepared for some damage to the non-painted bits.

I own a fleet of pilot cars and due to the wear and tear of our industry one of them started to look really rough. Faded red paint, dents, and a damaged rear quarter panel said it was time for a little TLC. I received an online quote than went in for a in person quote. The owner was really easy to work with and was happy to show me the different packages (on real customer cars) available and what to expect with each. I didn’t need a top of the line paint job and I didn’t feel pressured to do so - we chose the middle package. They were extremely quick to get the car in and started on it! I was surprised by that and in about a week’s turn around it was finished. They went above and beyond - they had painted the inner wheel well plastics - I had never expected that but it pulled everything together! They also were willing to work around the equipment attached to the vehicle instead of making us remove it! Customer Service: A++ Product Received: A++ Pricing: A++. I received a quote for a full paint job from another paint shop for almost 8k - Maaco was 1/2 the price and quality was intact! Turnaround: A+ I will continue giving this Maaco our business!
