Outstanding location to get your windows tinted or your car detailed! Did an amazing job on both for my 2022 Honda Accord! Went to the warehouse location vs mobile visit. I was investigating ceramic finishes for a 2017 VW Touareg. Found Mach1 in Carlsbad and stopped by to have them look at the vehicle and recommend a detail service. Fernando spent 15 minutes with me looking over the vehicle and explaining in detail how Mach1 could (or could not) fix scratches and blemishes on the vehicle. Much to my surprise he recommended the Grand Prix detail with a Teflon finish (this is a much cheaper application than ceramic). Fernando was able to get me in right away but they would need the vehicle for 2 days. On day 2 at noon I got a call that the vehicle was ready! Upon pick up the VW look brand new and VERY shiny. Then Fernando opened the hood and showed me that they had fully cleaned the engine as well at no charge. The engine look like it was brand new off the showroom floor! Fernando gave me a very good deal and I could not be happier with the results. Mach1is legit, the staff is very nice and super accommodating. They went the extra mile to get a new customer and I would highly recommend Mach1 in Carlsbad if you want a high end detail and your vehicle looking new.

I was ecstatic with the work completed for me at Mach 1. When I bought my VW Jetta it did not have tint and I knew with it being a black car it not only needed tint but it needed ceramic tint. All of my concerns were answered and I felt confident with my choices. I am leaving this review a year and a half since I received the tint and it has not aged one bit. I am very happy with the service and the product. I have recommended Mach 1 to my friends and family. I will be returning with future vehicles.

This place is a joke ...do not go here if you want a good auto detail and don't want to get gouged on price. Went in for a full detail on our Yukon XL (interior, exterior, engine). I had some minor scratches on the passenger door that I also wanted them to wet sand and buff out. The scratches were not deep and the wet sanding process would have removed them. The detail in itself was just OK. I don't think they even touched the engine ...if they did, it wasn't cleaned very thoroughly and you could wipe your finger on the plastic shrouds and get dirt on your finger. When I picked up the Yukon, I noticed that rather than do the wet sand/buffing of the scratches, they decided to take touch paint and paint it on in fairly long sweeps. I couldn't see that well when I picked it up. When I got it home, I realized they did quite the number on the touch-ups and it was very obvious that whoever did this who absolutely no idea what they were doing. Then I got overcharged when I paid and didn't realize it until I got home. Tried to get the owners to help out with the issue and they ghosted me. I've used this placed several times and the details were always decent but this last time the experience was just bad. I ended up having to hire another detailer who knew what they were doing to remove the paint touch-ups that Mach 1 added and wet sand/buff the scratches out and that guy did a really nice job. Cost me another $400 to fix the mess Mach 1 left me. Absolutely stay away from this place.

Love these guys! I'll be going back for sure. They're well priced, fast and honest. Go above and beyond. Here's my experience. I'm selling my old car and needed to get it detailed. I drive it over right before they close and explain what's up. He quotes me a price, I pass on the engine compartment detail, and we've got a deal. He then offered to have it done the same day, mind you, they close in 15 minutes. Wow! I opt to drop it off and come get it tomorrow (this works better for me anyways). Next day, not only do I fumble their closing time, but I call and ask if it's too late to pick up (despite it being 45 minutes past their closing time). No problem, come pick it up! (Thank you so much for this by the way, I needed to go get it smogged but I wasn't going to try to push you passed close.) Here's the kicker: I had mistaken to the total cost. In my head, he had quoted me $200 for the detail + additional work I had asked for. When I sit down to pay, he keys up on $160 on the credit card POS and I ask "oh hey, I thought you said $200" to which he explains "that's with the engine detail, I'm here to help you!" So bravo, they totally could've just charged me $200 but they're honest. Fantastic! I'll be referring people to you guys and possibly taking my Tesla here for a tint job. I get the feeling you can negotiate prices with them, but honestly, they're already so fair. Good, honest, hardworking people here who get the job done! Oh and they did a fantastic job on the detail. Even managed to clear up my fogged up headlights.

Just go and get the detail package. My car looks brand new! I dropped my car off (it was very easy to find by the way with Google maps) and they spent 5 hrs on my car 1 hour per tire and made my 20+ year car look brand new. Just pay it you will not be sorry. I’ve had my cars washed, detailed, ceramic coated, and tinted over the past four years here at the shop and all the services has been spot on. My car always comes out nice and clean both inside and out whenever I get it washed. It’s also 100% hand wash so that my car is never scratched. Their tints are also nice and help reduce the heat in the summer. I was skeptical about ceramic tint but once I put it on my cars, the heat reduction difference in the summer is a lot noticeable once driving. I really recommend spending a bit for the ceramic tint since it does make a difference. My favorite part about this shop are the details. It always leaves my car looking like new both inside and out for the full detail. I added the ceramic coating for both my cars and it helps prevent all the dust and dirt from sticking and makes the car easier to clean. The shine that it brings also makes sure you don’t have to wax and polish for the next couple of years. The interior of the car always looks new and the seats are shampooed and conditioned along with the carpet being clean. Overall the services they offer in the shop is top notch. Fernando and his team are great professionals who are really good at what they do. They’re very easy to work with and the customer service is always spot on. I recommend trying out Mach 1 and see for yourself the quality of work that they do.

(update) I will say I didn't have a good overall quality experience but Fernando made things rite and offered to correct it. Even tho I had already gone out of my way to have the paint corrected. He personally came to my work and refunded me for the service and apologized in person about the situation... With that being said his professionalism ive changed my review from a 1 star to 4 thanks 👍
