The lady at the front counter and the workers in the shop were nice but the owner the guy with the red mark on his face tried to charge me $90.00 to change one battery terminal. He gotta be on another planet (no disrespect but that’s insane)

Just paid $1100 for a brake service which included pads, rotors, the whole nine yards. I asked why the brakes weren't checked in the 6 times prior to today that it was serviced and they said, we don't diagnose brakes if you don't ask. My rotors could have been spared as well as the expense had someone cared to check. After 2 1/2 years and thousands of dollars, l no longer trust this business.

Great, great, great auto shop! I am fairly new to Magnolia and I gave this place a try and they have been wonderful. Honest and fair auto care at a reasonable price…..what more can you ask for? The staff is very polite and friendly plus they have a very clean bathroom😁 Highly recommend!

Always had a good experience here. I've brought in multiple vehicles with varying issues, and every time gotten great service and the work was done right the first time. Robert is always very helpful and the guys definitely know their stuff. Definitely recommend Magnolia Auto to everyone I talk to and I will be back if I have any other issues.

Wanna thank Vernon for reaching out about a negative review I had previously left. He reached out to me soon after I left the review and wanted to fix the issue. I am grateful that he reached out and it shows he genuinely cares about people’s experience at his shop. Thank you sir!

Still having the same issue after just getting our car back for the 4th time. Never again. It died again after 2 days back from this shop. It’s under warranty, but they keep it for a week or longer every time. We have to pay for a rental most of the time or rely on rides and food deliveries. Which means big money out of our pockets. Plus we are always paying for parts, that obviously wasn’t the problem. Their guarantee sucks. We have had to cancel appointments over and over again. Their mechanics should have just told us they couldn’t fix it and saved us so much time and money. We will take it some where else, this 5th time. We do not recommend this place!!!

Took my car for an inspection, and it failed due to the check engine light being on, which is the reason it failed from what I was informed. And that is completely understandable. I don't know much about inspection for cars but I do think if that will cause the inspection to fail it should be told to the customer beforehand so they don't waste their money and time paying full price for a failed inspection. Had to leave work early to make it on time for the inspection that failed. Got the inspection done elsewhere, and it passed for $8 cash. If I'm not mistaken, this place charged me around $40 to waste my time.

There’s a long story why I’m doing this review. It’s 100% based off the owner and his horrible attitude. Everyone one else is great and they do good work. I’ll try to make the story short. I took my vehicle in because it was shaking. They got it in, diagnosed it, and I came to pick it up the next morning. There was confusion in the diagnoses when I came to pick it up because when I spoke to the owner he didn’t see a hand written note on their service ticket. We were expecting an issue with only the tires, but when we came back, it was an issue with the tires and the shocks. Cool. No problem. Things happen. I came in at 8:15 the next day to pick up my vehicle. I was asking clarifying questions when I came because over the phone, there was confusion from magnolia auto. I wanted to make sure I was understanding correctly what happened. The owner mouths off, “we spoke when we were closing yesterday and it’s only 8:15. Do you expect us to have a solution?” No Mr. Owner. I am making sure I understand what’s going on. There’s no reason for attitude. He abruptly slams a quote on the counter for the shock replacement a few minutes later. I left the office. Thought about this situation, then decided to give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he was having a bad day. I decided I’ll come back to get the shocks and give them another chance. I called back, I told the manager and receptionist my situation with my vehicle. It’s the only vehicle my family has, if they can order the part I’d schedule my vehicle to come in to make sure I cannot be away from our vehicle for a long period of time. It’s been two weeks since we talked about this, I called the shop, they said the parts came in. No one called to tell me. The owner answered the phone and was telling me the parts were in and to bring the car in even though they are busy. I asked him if I can schedule to bring it in another time, he told me that he is not willing to accommodate what other people told me, and whenever I bring it in I have to wait in line. Saying all of this very rude and with a lot of attitude. This was the last straw for me. I’ll never use this company again. I’ll take my money somewhere who would respect me as a customer. I see the owner comments back on a lot of the negative comments he gets. continues to talk crap instead of trying to respect and handle issues his customer has. If he treats his customers like crap, I can’t imagine how he treats his employees. When you read this: you are a grouchy old man who needs to retire. Stay away from communication with your customers. You will continue to lose money if you keep treating people like crap. You’re an owner of a small community auto mechanic shop. Treat people with respect and get off your high horse.

I brought my car in because it was misfiring. I was told that they would call me with a diagnosis and estimate. I never got a call and my car was there the whole day. I called that day and they said they didn't get a chance to get to it. I still didn't hear from them the next day so I called and they said they would give me a call back. 2 days and $450 later they said my car was fixed. Driving down the road to go to a meeting it started doing the same thing so I took it back in on Friday around noon. I was told by the woman in the front they would give me a call shortly. When I didn't hear back from them I tried calling him twice and they never answered. They kept my car the whole weekend without even letting me know they would keep it. They also informed me I had a leak in my sunroof which was causing a large pool of water in my backseat area. I passed by on Saturday to check on my car and it was parked out front UNLOCKED with another pool of water in the back. They had not bothered to cover the sunroof or even lock the doors! I decided to pick up my car and take it to a reputable place instead. When I spoke to the manager about all the things that happened, he made excuses... "We are so busy", "I didn't know it was not locked", etc. And the icing on the cake when I told him that I tried to call twice on Friday afternoon to find out the status of my car, he did not believe that I called at all!! I asked him if it is their policy to make customers chase them down to find out the status of their vehicles. I guess it was my fault for giving them a second chance when they had screwed up the last time. I want to support local businesses but NEVER THIS PLACE AGAIN! They have ZERO INTEGRITY OR ACCOUNTABILITY!

Had the pleasure of talking with Jessica at Magnolia auto yesterday. She was very helpful and friendly. Had my oil changed by Lindsey! She was great! My oil change included a lot of extras that I don't normally get for free I What a pleasant surprise! I had a low tire light didn't know which one. And didn't feel like checking all of them plus the spare. She took care of everything could not be happier. PS I just moved to Magnolia and found this place. I also had a lovely conversation with Ron, a fellow customer! Loving this town!

After reading all of the negative reviews, I can honestly say I have no idea what the people are talking about ! I took my 2003 Ford Ranger to them after having a few mechanical issues. I had paid another shop to fix electrical issues with the vehicle because the air conditioning would not work. They had my truck about a week fixed all the mechanical issues, and all my electrical issues . They definitely were not overpriced, they kept in touch with me constantly to let me know what the bill was going to be, and after getting the truck out of the shop, it runs fantastic. I have no electrical issues anymore, and I believe will serve as a great truck for my son who is turning 16 in December. I highly recommend Magnolia Auto and will be bringing my other vehicles to them ! Thank you, Magnolia Auto ya’ll are awesome !!!!!!

Vernon is rude and useless. Don’t waste your time here, he cannot answer basic questions about your service needs. I’m done with this place.

Wonderful people, the dealer wanted $9,000 to replace the rear-end for my car. I took it to Magnolia Auto and they said there is nothing wrong, except the dealer put the metal guard backwards and flipped it and in only charged me $90. Now that saved me $8,910. They also have super fast inspections.

Such a great experience & great customer service. I had a small window for a state inspection & they were able to make it happen! And,…. Dutch was able to enjoy the lobby while we waited!

This place will charge you more to replace an exterior bulb than they will to change oil on a subaru Tell me how that makes sense. 😴

Refused to listen to the customer when she told them exactly what was wrong. $1000 later she still has the same problem and now they want $1200 to fix what she originally said was wrong. Do not trust! Customer beware! I am posting this on behalf of a friend who recently took her truck there.

Great experience every time! Very fair labor & diagnosis rates, always upfront with pricing, and very honest about what is best for the situation whether it means service is done by them or done by the dealership if necessary for warranty purposes. They truly are after what’s best for the customer, whether that’s best for their bottom line or not. Highly recommend!
