I have been taken my car to mark for years now. Lately. The last 3 times I have had work done on my car it has been real disappointing. #1. I had the turning signal switch replaced and when I got the car back the dash Fascia was broken & the horn and the speed control didn’t work.. I had to miss work to take the car back the next day. # 2. I had the ignition switch replace. After that every time I open the door I get a beep like I left the key in the ignition. And the warning Beep for living the head light on no longer works at all. #3. I took the car in to get the fuel pump replaced and got it replaced part of the fuel pump is the sensor for the fuel gage. Now on a full tank it reads 1/2 a tank. I paid top dollar for these repairs And when I taken the car back he wants more money to fix the problems he created. I have been the repair field all my life and I could NEVER knowingly do this to someone. I know if you don’t have time to do it right the first time. You sure don’t have time to do it over.

Very nice guy that works there, I was stuck in a rut coming from a shop that basically scammed me down the street, had to drive my car with a faulty throttle body that wasn't put back on correctly, when I came in he was more than willing to check out what I had going on. He said he didn't work on japanese and Honda that much, but not even 10 minutes later the car is in normal running condition for me to get back home. I hope you see this review one day. Because you are awesome man, and I see that you care.

I'm not from LA and Mark's just happened to be the closest place to where I broke down that could help me. I usually do my own work on my but it was beyond my ability & they took care of it for me the same day - I just waited at the coffee shop right down the street. I'd expect repair prices to be higher in LA too but it cost about what the industry standard would be anywhere in the US, and I'd be happy to get such good work for that price anywhere!

I actually didn’t have a service performed here because my car was already mounted up in a tire shop down the road. However, I called Mark (and a couple other local mechanics) to see if I could get better estimates for the expensive repair the tire shop had just told me was going to be about $1,200. Well, despite me not yet being a paying customer, Mark helpfully tallied up an estimate and told me in his honest opinion that the tire shop’s estimate was actually reasonable, but on the higher end if I was able to shop for cheaper parts on my own. With his reassurance, I ended up getting the rest of the work done at the tire shop for the sake of convenience since they already were replacing and rotating tires. But next time I have any mechanical issue, I know which one I will be calling, Mark’s Auto Repair.

I love the reviews here. But it's Sunday and Google's says the shop is open until 5:30 pm and the shop is not open. Or the hours aren't updated for today. It's 8:42 AM, no hours posted outside to reconfirm this. No I didn't call before arriving, I was 2 mins away. I'm not here to mess up anyones business with star ratings. Please update is all.
