This is a GREAT PLACE!!! I had a flat tire on Saturday Sept. 20th on my car. I didn't know where to take it due to it was almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I took off tire and I tried a few local shops, all closed for the day. I then thought of Mavis in East York..... I told my wife I am going to go in and see if they have time to help me. I was greeted by a guy and gal as soon as I walked in the door, which means a lot to me. He checked out the tire and said he thought they could fix it. He took it out to the one Tech and he said it was close but he thinks he could fix it. So I was told about 30 mins or so, I was happy with that. I went to sit in my car and they were already working on my tire for me.... I was shocked the Tech stopped what he was doing and fixed my tire for me right away!! Then he explained and showed me how to tell how old my tires were on my car.... 5 yrs old, there were made on the 4th week of 2020. So I am need of a new set very soon. After we finished our talk he put my tire back in my car for me. I tried to give the Tech a tip for helping me out so fast. He thanked me and refused my tip, I thought that was very noble of him he said he never takes tips. Wow what a great guy! So, the guy that was behind counter was out with us talking and I said " Well lets go settle up" and then what really blew me away was what he said next. He said " We are all good, no money needed today" I was floored....! I offered serval times and he said just to have a good day! What a GREAT bunch of employees they have there! I will definitely be buying my new set of tires from Mavis on East Market Street! Keep up the Great work Guys and Gals.....!

This store did nothing but wonders for me! When I initially purchased all 4 tires, the person who assisted me did not give me the option of adding warranty to all tires. Luckily I got on the phone with Don, great guy!! I needed a front passenger tire replacement due to my tire having a bubble. Don made me an offer and left me the tire for free and I only had to pay for the warranty I was not offered in the beginning. Plus now I have NATIONWIDE warranty with Mavis. How great is that?! Definitely EXCELLENT SERVICE! 100% recommend, amazing staff and very attentive to all of your needs! :)

I scheduled an inspection a week in advance. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, they informed me they couldn’t do it because they ran out of inspection stickers. He was very blasé about it and didn’t even offer to reschedule. I was expecting to get 4 new tires and oil change, in addition to the inspection. Someone could’ve had the decency to call and informed me. But they didn’t really seem to care.

The new manager is just that! A manager. I believe her name is “Faith” which is truly an oxymoron. I was in a bad spot. I tried to get her to let me pay in cash because I had lost my card two days before. I woke up with a flat tire this morning and she wouldn’t allow cash. Then when I tried to get a relative who lives 300 miles away to call in and use his card, she said he had to be present. I asked for an exception. But Faith is very good at stating policy and going strictly by the book. She’s a manager. She’s not a leader. She doesn’t value people or customer relationships. As a former military and paramilitary officer, I cringe when I think about how she must treat her employees. I am sure she’s buttoned up and is never tardy with paperwork. But I bet they wish she could use some descretion when dealing with her employees and customers. I bet they wish she had people skills. I bet they tell her that when you’re dealing with people, you do a lot better if you go by the heart more than the book. I’ll never frequent that establishment again, after going there for years under the former management. And because they have a big competitor (CJ tires), I will work tirelessly to inform the public that they helped me out this morning when I was in a pinch. If you want good service go to CJ’s. If you want a robot (“Faith”) to dictate policy to you go to Mavis.

The East York location is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Nate was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail. I would definitely recommend them. They are reasonably priced and easy to work with. Update: had some major issues after we got out car back. We had to get it towed back to Mavis on Friday night to get the new brakes fixed again. The rear driver side brake shifted and locked up the wheel. My daughter couldn't move the car at all. They did fix them but we are still waiting on the reimbursement for the tow. This is a major issue because my daughter could have been in a bad accident if the wheel would have locked up at highway speed.
