Mavis Tires & Brakes We’ve been to Mavis now for tires and brakes thinking they would be good because they seemed to be professional. Here’s how it went: The Good: — They are professional. Each interaction with the people was good. They are helpful, explain what they are doing, and answer all questions. — The service is relatively fast. — Waiting areas are pretty clean. — Easy to schedule an appointment online. I got one for my brakes same day. — Decent selection of tires. The Not So Good: — Expensive — Expensive — Did I say expensive? Let me qualify this. — Tires are about 50% more than a place like Walmart or Costco where you will get a similar product with no noticeable difference and similar warranty. — I got my brakes (all 4 wheels) done about 2 years ago at a different shop for about $800. Mavis charged me $1100 for 2 wheels! — you can go to auto zone and get all the parts they used for about $450 vs the $670 they charged me — Labor is a set price for working on a set part. It is NOT per hour. $416 for labor that took a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. To put this in perspective, that is the same as a junior airline captain. Bottom Line: We went to Mavis out of convenience and necessity. We will NOT be going back. Save your money and go someplace else.

I asked for one specific service, a wheel bearing replacement, and asked if they could get it done the next day before noon and asked for them to call me before working on it to confirm. They confirmed they could get it done. I never received a call before they started working on it, and I got a call at 10:30 just for them to let me know the wheel bearing is bad and needs to be replaced, and it would take 3 hours to fix. They failed to follow simple instructions, failed to communicate with me, and failed to complete it on time.

Popped in to have my tire checked due to a noise I was hearing. The staff jumped right to action and not only checked out the tire in question but also checked them all and topped the air pressure. To add icing on the cake, they quoted me for a tire for my other car which was unbeatable therefore I ended up buying a new tire for my other car. Great service and even better customer service.

Oh my, went in on a Sat afternoon to have 2 trailer tires mounted on rims, lady seemed totally unenthusiastic at her job. She told me that it would be extra to have them balanced ..... later corrected herself when i stated that the total seemed high.... she said, oh, the mounting and balancing are included in 1 fee. I almost left because she didnt seem like she cared at all. Never asked me if i needed help unloading tires and wheels ,never told me how long it would take, she had jo emotion. Fortunately it didnt take long.

The only place in town I let touch my vehicles. They have consistently delivered prompted service, exceptional, customer care, and fair pricing. Most recently, I sent my wife to the Bonaire location to have all four of her tires replaced. She was greeted by Jeff, the store manager, who I'd previously spoken with to coordinate the maintenance. He and his team had the car in and out in a little less than an hour. When it was over, there was no sales pitch, no upcharge, no overselling, she simply paid the price that was quoted and left. I've been a customer for 3years now and I have good faith that there will continue to keep my vehicles running well into the future.

I called at 4 pm asking if I could come in for a quick tire patch. I was told by the guy at the desk that mechanic was about to take a break, and to come around 5 515. I show up at 515, and the guy greets me with "im sorry but my mechanic is on break, and it will probably be an hour wait until he returns". The business closes at 6 pm. Youre telling me the only working mechanic takes a lunch from 5 to 6 and im just supposed to wait until after the business closes for him to come back for a simple 5 to 10 minute tire patch. Completely disappointed in my experience today. Have been here before and was satisfied. May have just caught them at the wrong time. Regardless, no tire shop should be open until 6, and only have one mechanic who is taking a break from 5 until closing time.

AWESOME customer service!! Mr. Jeffery Strong was a pleasure to deal with. The alignment technician took care of the alignment issue on my 2024 Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid. They had all the modern equipment to make sure the lane keeping function (camera/sensors) on my vehicle works properly. Other tire stores in the area do not have the equipment to handle that. I will definitely be going back for other services they offer. Thank you Mr Strong.
