The guys at Mavis were so helpful! I came in thinking I would have to replace my tire because it wouldn’t stay pumped. After discovering there were 2 nails in my tire, they were able to patch it up. This has been my go to place for just about everything to do with my car since they opened. I have always been met with fast service, flexibility, and kindness. This is the only place that has ever taken the time to explain to me what is wrong with my car, how they’ll fix it, and why it’ll cost what it does. I bought a set of tires from here and got a nail in one of them shortly after, I came in bummed out about it and they plugged it free of charge just out of the kindness of their hearts. As a young woman I cannot express how much I appreciate the staff here treating me the same as they would with anyone else instead of making me feel dumb like most experiences I’ve had with mechanics. If you’re looking for a place to get a new set of tires or most basic maintenance and repairs Mavis is your place!

it's clean and they are friendly. I came in to get 4 new tires. 2 people in front of me. I got there at 9;30 in the morning. By the time 12 came around I was becoming furious. 3 hours for an installation of 4 tires. Is just absolutely ridiculous. none of the workers were moving fast or with a sense of urgency. I expected better out of a location that hasn't been open that long.

We were on our way to the beach and before we left Rock Hill, we found a screw or nail in one of my friends tires. We were losing tire pressure very quickly. We drove to Pep Boys that was the closest to us and we waited 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us so we left. We went to NTB tire where my friend had bought her tires. .across town. They were booked up for over 3 hours. We left and checked right up on the corner of Heckle and Herlong Ave near the Hospital at Mavis Tires & Brakes. They didn't know us, but they came out to the car, checked the tire and told us to give them 30 to 45 minutes to fix the tire. That was at 12:30pm. It's 12:50... and our car is ready!!!! Thank you Mavis for saving us and helping us to get on our winter vacation. We HIGHLY recommend them for their excellent customer service and caring for our needs. I’ve had a great experience with Mavis Tires and Brakes. Their prices are very reasonable, and they’re upfront about everything — no hidden fees or pressure to buy things you don’t need. It’s refreshing to find an auto shop that’s honest and doesn’t try to rip you off. The staff are friendly, quick, and professional. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

I called for a simple brake pad change. Was was assured that I could get just my break pads done. Once you get there they would not service the car at all unless they also put new rotors on. Turned my already over priced break pad job into over $1,000. Wasn't a car in the shop when I pulled up to get my car you would think making 500 bucks on a slow day would be nice but no, while my day was wasted due to this bait and switch. Once again I chose this place because I was assured appon booking that I could just get my pads done. Please do not use this location if you family works full time and has children as it will only set you behind more.

I had a great experience here and truly appreciate the level of customer service I received. I called last minute to see if there was any possibility of getting my vehicle looked at, and they were incredibly accommodating. Gabe and Marvin were both extremely helpful and managed to fit me in for an appointment later that afternoon after I got off work. When I arrived, they were friendly, polite, and made the entire process easy. The service didn’t take long at all, which I really appreciated with my busy schedule. Gabe and Marvin both went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled quickly and professionally. It’s not often you come across service like this anymore. I’m very grateful for their help and would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking for honest, efficient, and friendly service.
