Scheduled recall service for my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. There were two recalls to perform: 1) Software and 2) Propulsion. Both recalls were taken care of within about 2-hours. Fortunately, I didn't have to have my motor replaced...just the new oil, filter and updated warranty. McCarthy, Lee's Summit was prompt, polite and took good care of me.

Had evap vent solenoid replaced because check engine light was on. Check engine light is still on. Car smelled strongly of gasoline when they finished. Not sure if they really fixed it correctly. Taking car somewhere else. Service staff are not very friendly and don't explain things.

I had my car towed from an independence car dealership who had it a whole week for it dying on the freeway. A independence car dealership did a diagnostic check which they should not have done because we were waiting to receive the service contract. After putting a bad battery in the vehicle which McCarthy had to replace, they did a diagnostic check put a new battery in it and called me to come pick up my car. I went to an independence car dealership because it is close to my house. I went too another dealership three times before I bought my car from McCarthy because it was a problem with financing. I put twenty five thousand dollars down and was financed the same night.I’ll be driving the extra miles to McCarthy Chevrolet for all my service now. The staff was friendly knowledgeable and courteous. With the times as they are it feels good to go to a place just not after your money where a person can get great service with a smile.

I had a very disappointing experience with the service department at McCarthy Chevy. The service advisor was not knowledgeable about my vehicle’s warranty and tried to charge me for repairs that were actually covered. Communication was terrible — my phone calls were not answered, and I left multiple voicemails for both the advisor and the supervisor with no return calls. They also told me I would be provided a rental vehicle while my car was being serviced for warranty issues, but I didn’t receive one until four days later. The entire process was frustrating and unprofessional. I expected much better customer service, and I won’t be bringing my vehicle back here in the future.

First experience with the shop here. Can't say enough good things. While purchasing a used Equinox, some questions came up about potential damage where the selling dealership (LS Subaru) would not stand behind their shops inspection. McCarthy Chevy got me in within thirty minutes for a pre-purchase inspection, with the guarantee that I wouldn't be charged if they didn't find anything. Frankly, I assumed they would find something so they could charge, but they gave me a clean bill of health on the vehicle and made me feel much better about my purchase. What's more, the sales team was very kind about my toddler doing laps around the showroom and even gave her a lollipop when she stopped long enough to take it. Really appreciate the matter of fact approach of their team and their reassurance during a big purchase. Would definitely recommend.

I haven’t had my car serviced by the dealership since I moved to Missouri 4 years ago. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous about going someplace new. David in the service department at Lees Summit was phenomenal! Not only did he explain in detail the malfunctions that caused my vehicle to overheat, he sent a video where I could see the issue as well. On top of the great communication, his customer service was outstanding. He was probably the nicest service person I’ve ever encountered. I picked my vehicle up on Saturday afternoon and was helped by two different young men. They were equally kind and professional. I’m so impressed with McCarthy, there’s no question where I’ll be shopping when the time comes to make a purchase.

I needed tires immediately due to a damaged tire. All the tires were needing replacement, but due to the damaged tire, I needed them urgently. I worked with both Jordan and Shane and it was the best experience I have ever had at a dealership! They got me right in and helped me find the right tires. My service technician was great. Chris was personable and explained what we needes done. My only constructive feedback would be the following. One your prices are extremely high in my opinion. Two, keep youre services depth open past 6 and if you cant. Make sure someone is available if for at least 10 to 15 minutes after 6. I arrived at 5 minutes till and the entire service department was gone. Finally, tell a customer prior to arrival and even during initial call or drop off. If you are paying with credit card there's is a 3% charge. I would have written a check or provided cash. This cost me another 100.00 in fees alone. Aside from that, the quality of work and expectations established in terms of timeline and work to be done was great.
