The guys took me in three hours before closing on a Saturday and had my new exhaust replaced before 3:30. I explained that another shop had made a poor fit in my spare tire would not fit so they replaced the entire rear pipe and made it look beautiful with the chrome exhaust tip I did not even ask for.

I chose your place in Fort Myers David, because I liked the people working for you. I don't go to mechanics for favors or anything else but to get my car fixed. I use my car for my living. I'm 66 year old and have never been treated with such disgrace as I was treated by you manager Carlos. I initially took my car to your shop for catalytic converter problems. They changed both my converters. Then they did some troubleshooting and found that the car needed engine mounts and struts. I usually purchase my own parts to save some money. I'm not rich as I said I'm 66 years old and still working. I was treated so badly by Carlos. Telling me that customers are stupid. One brought his car for rear brakes, but it ended up being front brakes. He expects his customers to be mechanics and know exactly what's wrong with their cars. He drove my car once, I drive it every day. I've spent $1800 at your shop only to be treated with indifference by this man. Literally told me that I should never ever clear codes on my car. When in fact on Friday after my car was repaired I had my doors not opening and the engine light lit up. I asked him to take a look for me. He said he didn't work on the doors nor the engine. Cleared the codes himself just to get rid of me. Half way home the engine light lit up again. I have a sick wife at home so I decided not to go back. I have a scanner at home and ran a check on my car. Two codes popped up p0113 and p0228. Both relating to map and iat sensors. I found out that map sensor was not plugged back in. A simple problem that could have been resolved by quality control. He tried to rush me out of there by clearing my codes. I suspect he doesn't like me. I don't go there for anyone to like me. I go there to get my car fixed. This man treated me like dirt. He insulted me twice. Told me that I was inside his shop when I asked the mechanic to get my remote control out for me. He said come get it yourself. That's when Carlos came and told me to get out. The following day I came back to him to check why I had the IAT code as I have no idea where that sensor is located. He said I cleared the codes and there's nothing he can do. Threw my keys at me and told me if the light comes on again then come back. This was all due to his mistakes as a manager. Never in my 66 years on this earth have I been treated this way. The man seems to have personality problems. I told him that I appreciated what they did for me as my car is now running awesome. Instead of saying thanks he said people spend $1800 here. My wife is at home sick too. I didn't work on ypur engine or your doors. Just answers that you don't wanna hear after spending all that money with you. I'm looking for an apology from this man. So today is August 15 and after you all installed my two struts I had noise coming from the front. Come to find out that ypur mechanic did not tighten the nuts on the driver side struts. All three top nuts were loose and making weird noise.

Im happy to say I’ve been using this particular Meineke on Fowler ave in Ft. myers since I first moved here 4 years ago! Don/John and his entire team are very knowledgeable, professional and flat out just good people! It’s comforting to know they’re not going to pull a fast one and double the price when you go to pick up your car! Great shop to go to for not just mufflers! Any thing from brakes, to timing chains!
