10/10. I had to get my Mercedes towed and heard about this shop. Best experience I’ve had dealing with an auto shop. As a younger women that knows nothing about cars it was one of the first times I felt like I wasn’t being played on what needed to be done. The staff were all extremely friendly. What a great experience from start to finish. If you drive a late model BMW or in my case Mercedes and you’re not taking your car to Better Cars Service Center you’re making a mistake. Dennis is an outlier in the auto shop industry. Fair, honest and a MAN of his word. I won’t be going anywhere else. Thanks again Dennis for getting the old CLK430 back in business. We took our car in with the hopes of getting it repaired and resolving a complicated issue I’ve been having with the engine for some time now causing slow start ups with my vehicle. Dennis was very honest and ethical the entire way through, and he didn’t try to sell us on things it didn’t need, he was honest about the necessary repairs required to get to the root cause, and didn’t try to hurt us in an already very painful situation. The staff is always friendly, honest, and incredibly helpful—especially the owners, who go out of their way to make you feel taken care of. They consistently do everything they can to get my car serviced or repaired quickly, and I never feel like I’m being overcharged or pushed into anything I don’t need. If you own a Mercedes or any European car and dread the dealership “runaround,” do yourself a favor and call Better Cars Service Center. We recently moved from NC and had been searching high and low trying to finding a mechanic we could truly trust. We’ve all had those experiences where you go in for a simple fix and leave feeling overcharged, or worse, like the problem somehow got bigger. We cannot express our appreciation enough for Better Cars and Service. They were incredibly honest and never pressured us. They actually took the time to explain what was urgent and what could reasonably wait. That kind of transparency is rare, especially when it comes to servicing a Mercedes. It’s such a relief to finally have a “car guy” we can trust here in our new home town. If you want someone professional and knowledgeable who genuinely looks out for your wallet and your car, this is the place. We’re so glad we found Better Cars and Service!
