I brought my car here yesterday was met with an immediate $80 charge to diagnose my car when I came in for a tune up was very dismissive and did not even want to talk to me about the tune up bkuz he claimed I had other things going on with the car I took it to another meineke on mccarter highway where I was met with sure no problem let me take a look to see what’s all going on gave me a complete diagnosis never mentioned $80 and did all the work on the car I needed a tune up like I mentioned to first shop new spark plugs coils new air filter and oil change came to about $1000 which could of went to you had whoever serviced me not been dismissive and had a little customer service and who didn’t look at me and just assume I’m a black girl with no money lol. 😝

My visit to Meineke Care Center in Newark on the Elizabeth Avenue was the worst visit to any mechanic workshop in my life. I took my car there for an oil change and also a clicking noise when I turn on my AC. They told me, they have to diagnose my AC and when they find the fault, they will then charge me to fix it.I gave them the go ahead to diagnose and fix my AC. To begin with, they charged me the diagnosing fee and labor. After a while, they told me the car was ready and I paid for the labor and diagnosing fee. I went to my car to find out that, the car still had the clicking noise when the AC was turned on. I drew the attention of the mechanic and told him that the car still has the noise that brought me to their workshop. To my surprise, the mechanic told me to take my car to the dealers. Now, what about the diagnosing fee and labor that was charged? I asked the mechanic.You have charged me for a problem that you couldn't fix. This is not fair.This is day light robbing. I don't think I will recommend this place to anyone.

I when to Meineke because I had a hole in my exhaust pipe went to Meineke got a reasonable price. There was not a long wait time for service. They service my car within 30 minutes to maybe even 20 fix the problem. Now my car is running perfectly as if I just brought it thank you Meineke very very much. I really appreciate the work that you did on my car and I will continue to go there to get my car service for any issues that I may have D PArker satisfied customer five stars.

I met the garage very busy and wanted to leave especially as I was not scheduled. But the intervention of Craig, the manager at front desk made me stay back and wait for my car oil change. The best thing that happened was that Randi the manager and supervisor heard I wanted to leave and immediately gave me an expert service. I left there in no time smiling. Everything went well until I arrived home, only to find out that the mechanic never returned the key bolt for the tire lock (nut) back into the secured place in the car. I called and the reception manager was nonchalant about it. I'm still feeling a certain kind of way about this. If I did not check, I would have had a big problem with not being able to unlock the tires to get them replaced, aligned, or reinstalled.

Walked in for an oil change. Going rates ($98 for full synthetic), good customer service. Waited about 40 mins (on all fairness I arrived around 3:40). Clean waiting room, and air conditioned (93 degrees outside). Would recommend this business!

I was truly disappointed with the service that I received. I paid 107.00 for just to get oil in my car. Nothing else. Was never told that I was not getting a full service oil change. I would never recommend this company to anyone. And the guy that you have checking people in is know help to this company. I feel like I got ripped off. And I would never return. I told him that I wanted my tires rotated, window washer and point check. He said that I should have told him. I thought that's what I got the last time. Im done. Not happy with the whole ordeal.

Excellent service. The guy at the front desk was very professional and accommodating. I’m pregnant and he offered me a chair even though there was plenty of room on the couches. When I called they said it could be up to an hour wait but when I arrived they got me in and out. Really polite and professional staff. The guy at the front I forget his name but he’s a white man I would say maybe in his 40s was just so helpful. I will definitely go back for my next oil change and any work I need on my car in the future!
