They told me I needed new injectors and they charged me $800 and days later my car stop working turns out the engine had low compression they should have checked everything before telling me it’s something it’s not Do not go here

I never let anybody work on my cars, but my girlfriend was having car issues and I’m still recovering from a back injury so I took it to Carlos. He’s been my dads mechanic for years and has always done great work. He fixed the car last year and it’s still running like a champ. Great/honest mechanics are hard to come by nowadays so I definitely recommend this shop.

My car was completely non operational before having it towed to this shop. I called Carlos first to go over the issues it was having, he was confident that he could repair whatever was wrong with it and he did keep his word. I found Carlos to be a genuinely honest and knowledgeable professional that takes pride in his work and really goes above and beyond for his customers. I didn't even notice that my stereo had stopped working, Carlos fixed that. My car needed to pass a smog ✅ (he doesn't even perform smog ✅!) but he was so kind to have the neighboring business do my Smog ✅ for me. My key fob wasn't working properly and he fixed that too! He also brought up functional issues I have with the model of vehicle and was able to make valuable suggestions to remedy these issues that I didn't even know were options. As a woman I've dealt with some dreadful mechanic shops in my past but I left here feeling great about this experience and knowing that I've found a place that I'd return if needed and would even want to recommend to others.

I took my Pathfinder into Mekanix recently to have some wiring done on my headlights. Carlos came right out and offered to fix it while we waited. He did the work quickly and for a very reasonable price. It's nice to see that service still exists in this world and fair pricing. His cost was $165.00 while Nissan on Hwy 111 quoted me $7-800 to fix the wiring issue. Thanks Carlos, we'll be back.

Both of my cars were having serious AC issues and it was during the hottest days in this Desert. Everyone I knew seemed to be failing in the search for a reliable Mechanic and had similar issues. I was so lucky to find Carlos at Mekanix Auto & Electric. His work Ethic is like no other, he explained everything; malfunction, options, costs. I was ready to just get rid of one of my cars, it felt ready to burst into flames. He was able to service both of my cars and let me know that they were in overall good condition. Within a reasonable cost and time, both cars had nice cold air. Its a relief to know my cars condition and where to come when i need them repaired. It felt like I found a Magician!
