Terrible service, was told at 11am the part I needed would be available at 1:30pm, waited until 1:30 to be told the guy at the warehouse hasn't even left yet. Told to wait until 3pm and I had to call once again to check on the part. Showed up at 4pm to pick up the part and every person working was taking multiple phone calls before helping anyone in the store.

I do all of my own mechanic work and deal solely with import cars. Metric always has what I need in a pinch, even if it is super old VW stuff, and it is always at a good price. I usually shop around for parts and about 90% of the time I will come back to them to buy because I know their products are OEM quality or far superior and the pricing is competitive if not cheaper than the same part at napa or autozone (who know nothing about imports). Bottom line, if you know what you are doing, they have or can get what you need.

I expected them to keep more in stock sometimes basic parts and common found parts are somtimes hard to find they usually have to order items in even for common model euro vehicles. I have personally called on few common model euro cars and suvs and usually get stumped on simple items. Caps, ball joints and struts. A couple times even rotors.

Not sure how these guys stay in business. They're friendly enough, but they have a very limited selection of parts in stock and their parts are significantly higher than any online option. So, if you aren't desperate for a part right away, then there's no point. And even if you are, they probably won't have it on hand. If their prices were a little bit higher, I could understand the premium for local convenience, but really in this case I'm scratching my head as to how they maintain a steady enough flow of customers.

This place is great. Friendly staff, and their prices are über competitive because they typically sell in bulk to car repair shops. They had the right battery for my 1-series BMW on hand and even let me swap out batteries right in their parking lot so I didn’t need to make a second trip. Highly recommend Metric.

Heard about this place for one of the chain auto part stores to get import part for my vw. They are great guys. Only con is that I had to call them about my order instead of them calling me like they said but I can except that as the prices are good and they do a lot of business. Don't worry though they have enough staff to keep up with the incoming business.
