I thought I needed a new O2 Sensor bong as the previous shop messed up the threads screwing in the old one, and was practically stuck in there. Even with the completely rounded off sensor, they still got it off, ran a die through the threads and put a plug in place, without charging anything. Super great, honest people with good integrity, will be back for any work I need done! Appreciate you guys

This location was recommended to me by a friend, who had good experiences. The manager, Erick, was super friendly, very professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. They were able to get my car in earlier than expected, and I got both issues taken care of quickly. Can't say enough good things about this Midas. Also, Veteran friendly, I loved the display honoring veterans inside the waiting room. I definitely found the place I will continue to trust and take my car back to for future maintenance.

My family has been going to this specific Midas for YEARS. We love them. I trust their judgement and they take the time to explain what's wrong with my vehicle to me. They know Im always budgeting so they'll let me know what's urgent and what can wait or about how long until the part will break completely. The customer service was excellent! I moved from NY to OR and had my oil, wipers, and tires changed for the first time. I made an appointment two days in advance, for Wednesday morning at 9:00.I arrived at 8:30 and was told it would take two hours, but it was actually only an hour and a half. I waited inside the store, and the waiting room was very clean, and the restrooms were kept spotless. They also had self-service coffee and water. The only downside is that the parking lot is always full, so it can be difficult to find a place to park. Lastly, Eric was a very gentlemanly person and was very helpful, even to someone like me who doesn't speak English well. I will definitely book here again.

Once again, Midas and Erick goes above and beyond, demonstrating the VERY BEST that a small service orientated business is capable of perform. During a torrential downpour, I lost my driver side windshield wiper going into Portland on US 26. Two days later (a Monday) I came into Midas and Erick literally stopped everything that he was doing in order to install a correct wiper that works well. Again, I would never hesitate to seek his help as to ANY of my car needs.

Eric was awesome. First visit to this Midas. I called and Eric had an appointment for me for the next day to replace the heater control circuit O2 sensor on my Kia. It took only 1/2 an hour! Eric listened carefully to my concerns that were noted in the final service report included in my service package on a 2024 Subaru Forester at a popular area dealership and made sure the team understood exactly what I was experiencing with my vehicle. They did a thorough inspection and explained everything clearly, without any upselling or pressure. I really appreciated the honesty and transparency - it's rare to find a shop that doesn’t take advantage of someone who isn’t super car-savvy. Midas in Hillsboro is the best. They are very honest. They do not overcharge for a service and will tell you if something is wrong or needs service on your vehicle. I have had two dealerships tell me that they base what needs to be done to your vehicle based on the year, make, model, and mileage of your vehicle. They do not care if the service does not need to be done. Midas honestly only tells you what only needs to be done with your vehicle to keep it healthy and running smoothly. I have taken my 7 cars in for many services through Hillsboro Midas.

Came here on a Saturday morning. Carter the Service Manager was at the front desk so I got to talk with him about the issues & concerns regarding my 2 cars. He actually took the time to answer my questions & even reviewed my courtesy safety inspection report for BOTH my cars (I got an oil change on both cars here last week). He even showed me a picture of the serpentine belt which needed to be replaced. They have a window where you can watch the technicians working on your car. I really like this kind of transparency. The 3 services I've had done here last week & their honest communication & willingness to explain things clearly is very much appreciated. I thought Erick the Sales Manager was a good guy but Carter the Shop Manager was super nice & technically detailed in his explanations. I'm coming back next week to replace headlight bulbs. Big or small, these guys have earned my trust & loyalty for my cars' maintenance & repair needs. Brought my Mazda here today for an oil change & courtesy safety inspection. Erik the Service Manager was great. He was on point with his knowledge of anything related to cars & repairs. They do all kinds of repairs except replacing engines & transmissions. This place was highly recommended to me & I was surprised at the very reasonable prices for oil changes, diagnostics & labor rates. Why did I think Midas was just for mufflers?? Lol. Made an appointment to bring my other car in a few days to diagnose check engine codes. To be continued....
