I cannot say enough good things about Alex and his group. I used him for the first time years ago, and I was very impressed with how open he was about their process of diagnosing and solving the issue with my truck. I was confident that they were fixing the problem and keeping my costs down. They also have supplied us with great advice on when fixing an older car was worth it, and when it was not. Based on his advice, we got the most out of my wife's last car, and traded it in just before maintenance became too expensive. I now live outside of the loop, but I do not hesitate to make the drive to Agean when I have an issue. I would recommend Agean to anyone!

These guys have restored my faith in repair shops! I brought my car in for an oil change and AC repair. I was greeted by a very friendly mechanic, I told him my car needs and he immediately went to work. They kept me informed all afternoon on the status of my car. Within a few short hours my car was back in tip-top shape! My pocket book thanks them too! The repair cost was incredibly fair! Honest! Knowledgeable! Friendly! I’ll definitely be back! Thanks guys!

Terrible service, the mechanic with the beard has a very bad attitude and lied about my motor having damage when it does not need to be repaired. The owner was nice enough but decided to listen to the mechanic about imaginary damage

Two mechanic shops told me I needed a new power steering pump. They quoted me $650 - $750. I decided to check out Aegean Auto works because the reviews were so good. Mike at Aegean inspected my car and told me he could fix the noise by simply flushing the power steering fluid, replacing the o-rings and treating the pump return and supply lines. Total cost to repair at Aegean: $165! Mike saved me HUNDREDS of dollars with his honesty. Could not ask for a better mechanic. While in the waiting room, I spoke with another customer of Aegean's. He told me he had been going to Aegean for 17 years. Wow. What an incredible shop Aegean is, to maintain customer relationships for nearly two decades. Aegean is Houston's best kept secret. come here if you're looking for Honest, reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable mechanics. Every time I took my cars to another mechanic it seemed it would give me another problem soon after I left the shop. Almost like they were sabotaging my vehicle. This is the one shop where I was never afraid of it. I used to go to this shop when it was located on Fairview. They serviced my Mini Cooper many times but always showed me the issues and have me honest feedback and suggestions before operating in it. I haven't seen Alex in about seven years since I bought a new car, but am so glad that he's still in business now that my CRV will need some maintenance and repair.

Alex, Mike, and Teddy at the best in Houston! We lived in Houston for 3 years and took both our vehicles to Agean after getting fed up with unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge at dealerships. I firmly believe the best mechanics are at private shops and these guys are definitely top tier. They are are quick, friendly, professional, great value, and have great communication. Of the top of my head I went to them for the following work: full brake job, full clutch replacement, wheel bearings, radiator replacement, exhaust work, O2 sensors, oil and all other fluids changes. They always gave me options and let me pick what service was best for my needs at the current time.

Pulled into this establishment to get my tires checked, and the owner was absolutely rude… because I pulled to the back of the shop. I assumed that’s were my car would be checked. Unfortunately I did not use their service, and never will. Customer service and great communication goes along ways

I have been using this establishment for over 10 years now! I relocated to Colorado 2 years ago and still drive into Houston every 6 months and get my oil changed. Without fail, they always get me in and out and taken care of. This recent trip, I took to Texas, started with my visit to get my oil changed. I was in town for a few days and the day I was going to embark on my 1000 mile trip back home, my dash lit up and I called Alex. He told me to come by to get it checked out. Not only did we have an extensive and honest conversation of what could possibly be wrong, they were quick to expedite my car care and get me back on the road 2 hours later. I felt safe and made my trip back home safely and couldn't be more grateful to Alex that is honest and treats me like family. They deserve more than 5 stars in my book! Thank you Alex and Mike! I hate going to the mechanic because I feel like they always rip you off, but this isn’t something that happens at this shop. They showed me that my front control arms were going bad and needed to be replaced. Alex and the crew are cool dudes and they get the job done quick. It might not be the cheapest place around since they use quality parts that will last. However, they are certainly much cheaper than what you would pay at the dealership.

The only reason I'm giving this good a review is because the owner is a very polite personable person and they're one and only mechanic can probably fix most common problems with cars. It should really get two stars. I told the owner what type of car I had 2011 Subaru wrx (turbo), and what I thought was wrong with it (blown head gasket), and he told me to bring it. I did and left it with him and got a ride home. His stressed out mechanic saw it, wanted no part of an overhaul, added some mother oil and told his boss it was above his pay grade. His boss calls me and tells me they they don't know what's wrong with it, they can't do the work and to come pick it up. I am then charged $122 for a car that they didn't diagnose and did nothing more than add a little bit of oil. So I had to get a ride there to pick it up and take it to some place that actually checked it out, confirmed my suspicions that it needed a new head gasket, and was competent enough to do the work.😡

The service I got here was absolutely amazing! This is my first car and first time going to get my brakes worked on, I was nervous bc they were in bad shape and I know so many people will overcharge people who don’t know a lot about cars. I was given an honest and amazing price for my breaks, pads and rotors to be replaced. I also lost my ride home and was given one by one of the mechanics because they wanted to make sure I didn’t miss work! Honest and kind people work here and they do amazing work, I’ll definitely keep coming here!

This guy is a scam artist. My boyfriend and I went to this shop multiple times. He had a number of jobs done on his vehicle and he was charged astronomical amounts each time. One time in particular, he paid for parts and labor in advance and they never performed the work. When he was asked about the refund, it was less than what he paid for. The guy at the shop said he would refund him $75 but only gave him $35 when he showed up. I refused to get my vehicle serviced here because I knew the prices were too high. I was quoted $1200 for new tires, brakes, and an alignment. I went elsewhere and had it done for half the price, and it was quality work. He uses scare tactics to try and make you urgently get work done and severely upcharges the work. If you want to save your money and time, do not go here.
