I came in because of a problem with my car vibrating loudly when I turned. I knew the car had a slew of other minor and some not so minor issues but they were able to quickly diagnose my problem. I got my wheel bearings replaced for a good price and they even got rid of a problem where a loose part was making a rattling noise when I drove the car. I've been dealing with that for years and several other mechanics couldn't tell me what took Mike 30 minutes to figure out. The price is fair and the customer service is great. Liz at the front desk will also help you by pulling up estimates for any other problems. Depending on your issue, you can bring it back and have the work done later. They're flexible and they had access to the parts I needed for a 13 year old Ford! Same day! That's great service. Now I know why 24 people have given them a 5 star review. I bought the car used at about 70k miles. It runs better than it did then. Thanks again guys!

I've used Mike's at least three times & received quality service, competent, efficient work & fair prices every time. Owner operated & if I'm not mistaken 30 years here in Tampa so you know that integrity is part of their business plan. They actually went out of their way for me on my first visit there because I was stranded with my children. Good people.

Do not use this guy. My daughter went to him because when she was at Cruz, he doesn’t have the machine to run diagnostics on her car. This guy kept her car for two days. He told her it was $100 to diagnose it and he would have it by the end of the day. When she called him, he said he got busy because he had issues at the dentist so he kept her car for another entire day. Then he proceeded to tell her what was wrong with her car by sending her a screenshot of the AI answer from Google. When she said does he have proof of this because she doesn’t wanna pay for something that he’s not unsure of and she’s not sure if AI knows about mechanics, he yelled at her and said that he should make her pay $400 because he’s been searching for what’s wrong with her car even though he said he charges $100 for diagnostics and so she needs to take her car back. She asked if her mom could pay over the phone because I’m not with her and initially he said yes. And then when I tried to pay him over the phone or request an invoice he said he wanted me to text him my license and picture of my credit card. I told him I can give him the number over the phone or he could send me an invoice and I would pay it and he tried to keep her car. The guy is crazy. Also, her gas was down 3/4 when she got the car back telling me that he drove her car around for two days.

10/10 experience with Mike today. I know so little about cars and he was able to help me figure out what was wrong over the phone, then fix the problem within an hour of me calling. Great price, great service, and Mike is super personable. Relieved so much stress for me today, I will definitely go back to him if I have other car issues!

I just want to say I was recommend Mikes garage from another mechanic shop...I had 3 mechanics and the actual dealership look at my vehicle and not be able to tell me the issue...I went to Mike...he was confident that he knew what the issue..He fixed it..my car wasn't able to go 5 miles without issues...now I'm riding all over the place..Thank you so much !!! Update: these guys absolutely shouldn’t be trusted. They responded to this review saying they offered to fix it for free which is undoubtedly a complete lie. The guy told me it would be around $70 to fix. I cannot believe he is lying on here. I trusted these guys with my car & glady paid $2100 because I thought they were reliable. I got front and rear breaks and rotors, a new valve cover gasket, and an oil change. I paid $2180.10 in full ($1076.99 in labor). The day I came in, I asked for pictures of the breaks to be sent to me so I can see. Never got them. When I was there, a woman had called and the guy answered on speaker. She had just picked up her car and was having new issues so she had to bring in her car again. I should have taken that as a warning. When I picked up my car, all of my tires were low and the shop owner himself, who I liked and respected, said that the guy who fixed my car should have had already put air in my tires and that he would talk to him. A day after I picked up my car, I started hearing some dragging coming from the front of my car. I brought it back, and they told me it’s the electric splash shield. Never in the 10 years that I’ve had my car has that happened. It just so happens that that part needs to be removed to access the breaks and valve area. They did not mention a peep about that to me. They tried to say that it happens after time because it get scraped if we hit something with it. Absolutely ridiculous. Never have I had that problem before and all of a sudden after these guys, I do. I am a respectful customer who is always happy to pay for quality services, but these guys aren’t worth any penny. I will be opening a file with the better business bureau and whatever automatics board I can find. I told them that money was extremely tight for me, but I’d pay because it’s my car, and I came out of this situation with my car in worse condition. To top it off, I’m starting to feel the breaks rattle again, so who knows what damage they’ve done.

After having gotten repair work done by them before (gaskets & alternator), today I brought them my bumper completely torn off and they had it looking good as new in an hour on Christmas Eve morning!
