★☆☆☆☆ On 3/10/2026 at approx. 2:00pm, I took my vehicle back to Mike Performance Tires to have all 4 tires balance after experiencing heavy vibration after having tires installed by them. After this was performed (done around 3:31pm) I left to head back to work. After 1 mile of driving on the palmetto expressway, I heard a loud knocking noise and the vehicle began to shake. I was in a panic and got off to turn around where seconds later the wheel came off completely. I immediately called the shop to speak to the owner who showed no sympathy or apologize, only admitting his worker did not tighten the bolts. NO accountability or urgency to rectify this dangerous mistake. I told him this could have ended so much worse as I was on a busy expressway in danger. He came to inspect the vehicle and agreed to fix it. The owner wanted to re-thread the wheel bearing instead of replacing it. I explained to him that my life was in danger and I wanted the part replaced as it was damaged due to poor workmanship. You could visibly see the shavings from the bolt and inside the wheel bearing. He towed my vehicle back to the shop and told me, “We will worry about this tomorrow". He left me stranded with no offer to provide me transportation or rideshare over 25 miles from my house in the middle of the night in the street. This incident of negligence of Mike caused damage to the wheel bearing, rotor, rim, lower body panel and lower control arm (see photos). I had to tow my vehicle to an actual dealership at 11:45pm at night because I could not trust my vehicle would be safe on the outside propped up on a jack! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE NOT ONLY FOR THE EXTREME POOR SERVICE AND LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM BUT THEY HAVE NO CONCERN FOR THE SAFETY OF YOU AND YOUR VEHICLE. I will not stay quiet with this!
