Mike is a pretty standup guy. He was quick to let me know what he could and couldn’t do when it came to my truck. I appreciate his honesty and the fact he didn’t BS his way into my wallet. I recommend.

I called Mike and described the issue with my vehicle and he had me swing by first thing the next morning. He quickly found and fixed the issue while taking time to teach me about how the system works. It was a great experience.

Replaced hoses and recharged my AC after I bought the materials for him. Answered my calls every day to arrange appointment for the recharge. He did the job at his house in about three hours. He Guaranteed the work. He told me if anything happens with the recharge to bring it back to him and he'll fix the problem. I asked if he only does AC work, and he said he does it all. Rebuilding engines, AC work, transmission work, etc. Give this guy your business. My AC is still cooling and no leaks are occurring. Great personality. Friendly guy.

Mike just corrected our Heater/AC issue. It had stumped bigger auto repair shops over the last year and it took him no time to figure out and fix. We called him at 10:30am and drove away with the vehicle at 5 He asked us to buy the part which was no problem. His price was extremely fair. More than half a previous quote. I would recommend to family and friends!!

1 star is the lowest rating it would let me give, if I could give zero or negative I would! Run, do not walk away from this so called “business.” I’m almost positive that it’s not a legit registered business as it claims to be and I will be following up and investigating with the BBB. My elderly mother traveled here from Missouri at the end of June. Her a/c went out in her 2016 Buick Encore in Witchita Falls. She made it a little further, but became heat exhausted and so we drove to meet her and drive her car here for her. After doing Google searches and reading reviews we contacted this place and took my mothers car to him. After having it for a full week, which is longer than what he originally said, paying $1,200 and him replacing the condenser and compressor, we took the vehicle home with him assuring us that everything was good to go. Thankfully, my mother decided to stay longer instead of travel home right then or she would have been stranded without a/c in this awful heat again. It was parked in the driveway for 4-5 days without being started or moved. When my Mom did get in it to drive it (she was planning to travel back to Missouri the following day) the a/c was not cooling and only blowing hot air again. She was left stranded at the store in 104 degree heat until we went and picked her up. After so many unanswered phone calls to this business we decided to just drive back out there with the vehicle. He was immediately defensive, claimed that nothing was his fault, and so on. After giving him several hours to look over the vehicle, we once again contacted him and could not get him to give us definitive answers about what it was. By this point, we are frustrated and just go out there to pick up our vehicle. Originally he never provided a receipt for what he did, but claimed that his work was “guaranteed.” Upon arriving to pick up the vehicle he changed his story so many times. Once claiming that he never had a guarantee or warranty, then contradicting himself and saying that “his word” was his warranty. Upon request he refused to give me a receipt. I finally told him to just unhook his gauges from the car and close the hood so we can leave. He continued to refuse and just try to talk, talk, talk his way out of everything. I actually have the entire engagement from start to finish on video. At one point I even had to threaten to call the police if he did not remove his stuff from the vehicle and let us leave with it. His response was “well then call them.” However, his next sentence was that there was no need to call them. After trying to get him to let us leave with the vehicle for almost 30 minutes, he finally unhooked everything, let the jack down, and let us leave. We ended up having to contact Firestone and take the vehicle to them, which ended up costing additional money to fix the a/c properly. He claims to be a “reputable business” but does the work from his house, without the proper equipment, and definitely not professionally with professional equipment.

Simply said, I called Mike about 7:30am on a Sunday morning and asked if he was available for me to come down for auto air conditioner repair. He said yes come on down now. I arrive. Within about 15 minutes, he rectifies my problem 100% and even explains to me the logistics of how the air conditioner works so that I avoid future mistakes. He kindly accepted reasonable payment. I am a happy customer. I highly recommend Mikes Mobile Auto & AC Repair.

I called Mike to come to my house to jump start my car. Not only did he get my car started, but he cleaned the terminals and checked the clamps. while he was there he went to the extra steps of checking all the fluid levels, the tire pressures, etc. His rates were reasonable too.

Really nice guy. Responded quickly, showed a great deal of ability to adapt and overcome and get me on my way. All for a very reasonable charge. I was 1000 miles into a 2100 mile trip and car ran like a champ with no issues from Odessa to Kentucky! Even got better gas mileage! Thanks Mike. I appreciate it and wish you lived closer to me!

About four months ago Mike replaced an AC condenser in my wife's car. He was able to complete the repair the same day and only charged me about 40% of what a name brand repair facility would charge. He will also travel to your location for the repair. I am unable to speak for everyone, all I can say is he provided me with quality service at a reasonable price. In case people are wondering my condenser replacement is still working great with no issue to speak of.

Mike is a solid guy. Called to get a problem fixed. Expecting 2-3 day wait like everywhere else I’ve called, expecting to pay upwards of $500. Mike fixed it in a 3 minute phone call. If/when I run into a problem I can’t fix, this is where I’m bringing my truck and spending my hard earned cash.

Such a joke! If you read his response to my original comment, he says that if you call daily or try to rush him it isn’t favorable for you! Who says that to a customer? First of all, we didn’t call daily, nor did we rush him!!! We allowed him a week with the vehicle after he promised to have it done in less than a few days!!!! Even after that it was not properly fixed and cost us additional money at an actual “reputable” company!! Do not be fooled!! He does not have the proper equipment to be FULLY servicing air conditioners!! Save your time, money, and headaches and take your vehicle somewhere else!!! Do not go off of the positive reviews of this page! Stay as far away as you can! Make sure the company is bonded, licensed, and insured!! I have video of our entire interaction with him. And receipts from all of the work that we had to have completed and paid for after paying him to fix the ac.

I hope you folks read this review and consider not hiring this man he is a crook. I had Mike install a a/c compressor on my truck. He was speedy and got it done. I was grateful for how much he saved me. Well now I'm a month down the road and my mount bolts for my a/c compressor are broken inside my engine block. With my son's birthday a week away I now have to spend close to 2,000 dollars in repairs. I guess you pay for what you get with cheap service. I called Mike to see if he would compensate for my truck. I let him know he was the one who installed my compressor and he was the last person to touch the compressor. He claimed it's not his fault and he was not going to accept responsibility. He did say to get the truck over to him and he would fix it but I don't trust him. On top of that I'm now over 700 miles from him. Please take your vehicle needs to a actual mechanic. This man may seem legit and talk the talk but down the road the walk is faulty. It will cost you more then it's worth to deal with this man.

Had a check engine light on. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and reasonable prices. From now on I won’t go anywhere else and I’ll tell my friends and family the same. He said he worked in a shop for about 20 years and now he runs his own shop, and his professionalism and knowledge about cars reflects that. This is a trustworthy mechanic and I highly recommend him. Thank you Mike!

While in town for Thanksgivng Holiday, I had a water pump fail. I got up early Friday morning and started making calls to see if I could find someone to repair so that we could get back home that weekend. Mike was the only one who even returned a call. He worked us in, got the job finished and work was excellent. Super friendly and super responsive.

He took advantage of my kindness and ignorance (about mechanics). Took my truck to him for my AC shutting off randomly. Over the phone he told me “oh I know what it is! Super quick and easy fix”. Two and a half weeks later, he has tore my truck apart to replace the entire AC system. $1500. Drive away, I have a code on my dash for my traction control/ABS system, AND the AC wasn’t working! I circled the block and told him about the issues. He scrambled and made excuses about his guy pinching a wire when putting the tire back on; but said he’d fix it. He gets my truck back, against better judgement. I told him “hey, since you have it back, can you fix a minor oil leak (I knew where the oil was coming from). He calls and tells me I need a new rear main seal. That the one I have is shot. I’m no mechanic, I don’t know, I had to trust this man. Three weeks later, my truck is supposedly fixed, 100%. Oil leak, AC, ABS/traction control dash light. So I pay the man his $2300 and drive away. Guess what…there’s no oil leak anymore , but nothing else has been fixed. I highly suspect he fixed the oil leak where I knew it was coming from, and just charged me for other, more expensive work. I call and tell him the AC isn’t fixed nor is the ABS code. He hemhawwed around and told me the TIPM needed replaced. I took my truck to a very reputable place in Midland. They’ve been very apologetic listening to the story of what Mike has put me through. They are disgusted at the “shady mechanic” behavior. Turns out…the AC system NEVER needed replacing and the rear main seal was fine (truck is very low mileage). Turns out, the issue the entire time, was a burnt out plug that needed replacing. Turns out I wasted THOUSANDS of dollars with Mike. Or shall I say…I was taken for THOUSANDS of dollars by Mike. He saw me coming and he pounced on the opportunity. Lesson learned for me.

I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe that had a leak somewhere and an issue when pumping gas. I’ve had mobile mechanics come by and they were not able to figure out the gas issue. Some told me it was the evap canister or the canister purge solenoid valve. Mike was able to fix the leak and the gas issue.

Mike was very polite and knowledgeable over the phone, which immediately had my attention. He was also very reasonably priced after comparing to a few other places. He fixed our AC issue in an hour and explained everything very thoroughly. I appreciated him going over all he did and what he thought was the issue. He is definitely a trustworthy mechanic. He did not overcharge, instead charging us for the filter and diagnostic only. I would recommend him to anyone and will be going back for any further car repair. Thanks, Mike!
