My 2015 Chevrolet Malibu was due for a routine maintenance check, so I decided to give their mobile service a try. What a game-changer Jake, the mechanic, arrived right on time, bringing all the necessary tools and parts in his well-equipped van. Dont use these guys. They were gonna charge me 6 hundred bucks to change the distributor cap and rotor. And belt tensioner. And it ended up being the fuel injectors. I wasted 130 bucks on a diagnoses.

My technician was Alex L. Bought a new car battery(not top of the line, but expensive because the vehicle is older & wearing down), and my battery terminal clamp wouldn’t fit. I’d be driving, the clamp would slip off, and my car would die in the middle of the road, waving traffic around type. Bought new wrenches + another & new fittings, then realized I’d have to make a deeper repair. Reached out to Mobile Mechanic Pros, Moreno Valley; they responded the same day and had a technician available. Informed them that I’d be paid on Friday, but I could scratch together the payment from different accounts, and the appointment was set. Alex came over, listened to my layman’s explanation of my experience with the battery problem, and got right to work. Alex completed the replacement of my battery terminal clamps super fast, like 3 normal YouTube videos' worth of time(estimate less than 30 to 40 minutes). The work was clean, far superior to what I would’ve completed on my own. Then Alex explained that my battery terminal was smaller on one side compared to the other, plus information about the workaround to make the components work, plus steps I should take once I need a new battery, plus saying he would come over to fix anything that immediately malfunctioned. Alex is a freaking boss! Now time for payment; my initial payment method doesn’t work, again, again, and again. I’m reaching out to the customer service rep, almost freaking out because jeez, Alex just completed an amazing job-he has to be paid. My card just isn’t working. Alex follows me to the nearest ATM, ATM fees-crud, and then follows me to my bank's nearest ATM for the next card. In the interim, I’m connecting what would be all of my cards to various payment accounts so I could get him paid; payment apps say that I’ve added too many cards-crud. Pull out the last of the repair costs, then use the payment app for the final amount, and we’re square away. This whole time, Alex has been super chill about this experience, even though he had another job to get to. Yes, he had to collect the money, but he was comforting for my situation. During this period, I learned more about him, how he is learning French on Duolingo, how songs from American culture were previously sung in French(Animals & Frank Sinatra), how he used to drive trucks near El Paso, and how he moved back to Cali to be close to family. Alex was a very kind, understanding, and compassionate technician. Who never made me feel like I was wasting his time or causing him a delay. Alex is one of a kind. Alex spent more time waiting for me to pay for the cost of repairs than actually repairing my vehicle, and never made me feel like I was asking too much, even though I was. If you are fortunate to have Alex L. as a technician, I was, then you'd better be good with Alex; he’s a real one. Thank you so much, Alex. Thank you. P.S. And sure enough, after this experience, I called my bank, which unlocked my original card in 6 minutes...O.o

Had my alternator go out on a Sunday morning in the church parking lot. Had my vehicle towed to my house. Called the mobile mechanics and they had my alternator replaced before I went to bed. It ended up taking 4 hours to complete the job because it was a pain in the butt. The good thing is the price that was quoted 1.5 hours was the price I paid no matter how long it would have taken. Highly recommend these guys. 👍 👍 The process was really easy. I called and no one answered. I received a text from the main office right after I hung up. I explained my issue and the make and model. They quoted me the labor 1.5 hours. I picked up the alternator at the local suit parts store. The mechanic and the office text me ETA’s and were very helpful. The mechanic Joseph was awesome. He swapped out the alternator. I verified the work was completed. Then Zelle the money to the main number. I will definitely be calling these guys when I have any other issues with any vehicles.

BE CAREFUL! I don't write reviews often, but I thought this was important. I was looking into a pre-purchase inspection. Not sure if I trust this provider. It feels off, like a scam to me. - They are very particular about payment through Venmo, Zelle, & apple pay. 🚩 - Strongly encourage not paying the mechanic directly, but through the dispatcher 👀 - Upon looking the address listed on the site, it leads to a random church. 🚩 - Ended the conversation passive aggressively. 🚩😂 Take a look at our conversation and let me know what you think.
