I could not say enough good things about Monro Auto. I work 8-5, Monday through Friday, so I am pretty limited on hours that I can have my vehicle looked at, as this is my only vehicle. I called Monday to see when I could get it in and the manager, Rob told me to bring it in right after work. When I was calling around, Pep Boys told me to bring it in on Saturday, but I knew something was seriously wrong, so I kept calling around. When I brought it in, he got me in right away, had me get under the car with him and showed me exactly what was wrong. It was major repairs that had to be done, the Cadillac Converter and the timing chains needed to be replaced. He was honest with me and said that he would not wait on this because the timing chain could snap at any moment and I was breathing in all those chemicals from the Cadillac Converter. Rob emphasized that if either the Cadillac Converter or the timing chains went, it would leave me stranded and I would also be replacing the engine. He said that he could get me in the very next morning, in which I dropped it off and he gave me a ride to work. Throughout the process of my car getting worked on, he communicated with me the entire time. He told me that it would be done on Friday and they had it done on Wednesday! I was impressed with how professional they are and they genuinely care. As you can imagine, replacing the Cadillac Converter and the timing chains is not a cheap job. Rob offered me financing and really helped me out in any way that he could with reducing the price. I didn't have a mechanic, but I do now! I will be recommending this place to everyone.

I’m very disappointed and feel used at this place, I just needed brakes and my sway bar fixed, sat there for 2 hours for them to say they did my brakes and fixed my sway bar for them to not do anything, why not actually fix my brakes or what I paid for? I just am shocked and now have to go through a lengthy process to receive justice 😢 To add the noise my car was making which they said was the seat bar is now worse, please don’t go here it’s cheaper but not worth it, I’m out almost 700$ and now have to drive my car with these problems till my next pay check for I can find a place that will still fix it.

biggest gouge place ever. I had to have my brakes fixed asap on Sat morning. The job was done.. and the asst manager said they would honor price matching if i brought in an estimate from other dealers. Next business day i brought them in and they refused! The charged me 741.00 that was 200.00+ over the other quotes. Avoid these people.. they are ridiculously callous to consumer respectful pricing. 200.00 is a lot!

Discount tire on stadium drive in Kalamazoo is the worst place to go. This is the second time I was treated with disrespect. They refused to fix my tire, and they also refused to put air in my tires. The\n People that work there are very disrespectful the\n Y lost a very good customer.

I took my car in for a nail puncture patch in my front and rear end tires I couldn’t pay them at the time but Josh kindly helped me get air in them for the time being. Came back a week later to get the patch done and had to explain how moving my car was difficult since my gear shift popped out near my driver side and how i’ve had to physically change the gear from the engine. Josh and Mateus couldn’t believe how I was driving my car around! I had the part ordered but couldn’t get it fixed for the longest since I needed to work without leaving my car somewhere overnight. These amazing honest workers fixed my tires and my gear shift in time for me to go to work my overnight shift that day. I recommend this business to anyone who is looking for honest hard workers for their troubles. 5 star quality!! Thank you guys so much.

My 24 Year-old daughter went into the store to get new tires. She had an appointment at 11 AM and was told it would be done by 1 PM when she called at 4 PM. They hadn’t even started on it. The car wasn’t ready until 5:20 PM. She needed a new headlight bulbs and they charged her $310 for two bulbs. That is theft on a deep level. They are shysters and take advantage of young women who don’t know any better. I would not recommend this place to anybody. If you feel the need to go there, beware. they will rip you off!!!

Took my car in to get looked at for a coolant flush, took them 4 hours to tell me they couldn’t end up fixing it and then the next day my car doesn’t want to start at all. Also, when I took my car in I had an appt and they even sent me a confirmation text with the time of appt and when I arrived the guy at the reception said that it was scheduled for 7:30 am ( not true) so I had to come back in later. Overall just not a good experience and would definitely stay clear from coming here. Especially if you have a foreign car.
