I was traveling through California and was away from cel phone service most of the time. I had to cut my trip short and needed a place to store my bike urgently. Waiting for a response on the phone or trying to set an apointment on the web page for that same morning was not feasable. Plus my phone number has a foreign country code. That is why I needed to talk to someone urgently on the phone. But, yes. I can change my review. If you responded it means you really do care.

Lucy cares for my "fleet" from a semi exotic vintage desert sled, an Italian enduro, a dependable Honda commuter, various dirty bikes, and a scooter. If you need a bike fixed, Lucy can fix it for a very fair price. Especially Ducatis! Since she's a solo owner-operator, she's often booked up way in advance. But she's a local woman-owned motorcycle shop and she'll always get my business, even if I have to wait.

She did the 6000 mile service on my Moto Guzzi V7ii, knew the bike well, and did a very professional job. Another happy customer here! I've always been an extra picky client, and have just about nit-picked every mechanic I've hired in the past (at least 5~6 of them by now). This is not the case with Lucy, not only did she got the job done (15K Desmo service) on time (less than 48 hours), found and corrected a ticking time bomb that would have destroyed the motor, found and repaired an existing wiring issue that even I had forgotten about, and just about exceed my expectations on every front. Here is how meticulous Lucy is, I dropped the bike off the day after Day Light Savings day, having rode 350 miles 24 hours prior...I did not have time to reset the clock one hour forward. Imagine my surprise when I tried to adjust the clock today, to find that Lucy had set the correct time for me already.

I took my 2004 Aprilia Tuono, and my girlfriend’s 2001 SV 650 in for tuneups, tires, and a detail. The work that was performed was affordable, the bikes never ran better, and looked amazing!
