I am always willing to support local independent businesses and these guys came though with excellent service. I recently bought a used bike from a private party and it needed new tires and a tune up. They were available to get this done for me in a timely manner with same day service. This is a family business with a passion for the motorsport. I will be a repeat customer for all my upcoming mods and services.

Absolutely Outstanding Service – A True Gem for Motorcycle Owners My experience with Daniel and the team at Motorfast has been nothing short of phenomenal. I genuinely can’t recommend them highly enough. My first encounter with Motorfast happened unexpectedly when my bike started overheating in Redwood City. I’m based all the way out in Richmond (East Bay), and I was worried about whether I’d make it home safely. I called several local shops, only to be told they didn’t have time to help. Just when I was ready to give up and call a tow truck, I reached Daniel. Despite being fully booked for the next two weeks, he told me to bring the bike in and said he’d make time to take a look. That level of flexibility and customer care is incredibly rare—and it meant the world to me. My second experience came a few weeks later when my bike unexpectedly stalled while I was riding through San Mateo. It was almost 6 PM, and most shops were closing up, but I called Daniel again. Without hesitation, he offered to come tow my bike to the shop—even as he was wrapping up for the day. His willingness to go above and beyond is truly unmatched. Daniel and the entire Motorfast team have proven to be not only highly skilled and professional but also genuinely caring. They’ve gone out of their way to help me more than once, and their exceptional service has earned my complete trust and respect. If you're anywhere near the San Mateo or Redwood City area and need a trustworthy, top-notch motorcycle mechanic, look no further—Daniel at Motorfast is the real deal. Professional, reliable, and incredibly dedicated to his craft. Don’t hesitate to bring your bike here. You won’t be disappointed.

I brought my 275cc KYMCO X-Town 300i scooter to Motorfast in San Mateo for its 500-mile valve adjustment after calling two KYMCO dealerships—one of which had never even heard of doing a valve adjustment. Mr. Borges told me I could drop it off right away, and he’d have it done by the next day. Sure enough, I got a call the following evening that it was ready for pickup. Highly recommend this shop—they completed the work quickly and were more knowledgeable about KYMCO motorcycles than the dealerships I contacted.

I ride a 2021 Indian Challenger Limited. I've taken my bike to Motofast Sport & Vintage repair shop twice. I have been 100% satisfied both time. I plan to take my bike there whenever I need a repair that I can't handle. The owner and employees are super friendly and very knowledgeable on different types of bikes. I normally would only allow the Indian dealership to work on my bike. But I trust MSVR with my baby.

got fork seals done here, had to wait extra time for the parts they said they had. then when i went to show up, people in the front were drinking and i was offered a beer. The owner denied this of course when i requested them to wait till the next biz day to continue work. I decided not to leave a poor review since i submitted a complaint to the BBB. however.. just over 3 months later the fork seals are leaking again already. I just called and shared photos was met with "you get 90 days warranty, its past that". No, i'm sorry about that, lets take a look/ lets give a discount and redo them.. nothing. Then hung up on me tip from other shops in the area.. i don't recommend it, but if you do get work done here. ask for the old parts back. common they don't replace all the parts they say they do. Brought my Suzuki Bandit 1200S for a full tuneup and brake pads replacement. Excellent service and quick turnaround. Wausiman was extremely helpful, and delivered my bike back to my front door! Definitely would go back for future maintenances.

I needed diagnostic and repair work done. I spent two weeks chasing them around to get the quote after I dropped off the bike. They said they had sent it to me, and it was probably in my spam folder. Nope, they never sent it to me – it was not in my spam folder. I got them to send me the quote, and then approved it. Then I spent another two weeks calling and texting about getting the work done, and finally when I was fed up and getting ready to just come and take my bike back, done or not, then they texted me that the bike was done. I went over there, and as soon as they brought the bike out, I started looking it over, and loose wires and a fuse fell out. So no, it wasn’t done. Incredibly sloppy work. Furthermore the front fork seals had started leaking which they didn't notice or care to mention to me. I left it with them another day to look it over their sloppy work, and hopefully give me the bike back fixed properly. I picked it up the next day and they gave me excuse after excuse about how they were busy, and KTM was backed up on parts. All things they could have told me to start with before they started working on my bike. Before they had it hostage for a month. I asked the owner twice if he had given the bike a once over. He lied each time to my face and said he had. It started up fine there, though they forgot to reconnect the headlight section. Then I took it out on the trail the next day, and the bike kept dying on the trail. I pulled it apart and found a male and female plug that had clearly been missed, I reconnected them, and it ran fine after that. He would have seen that if he had indeed given it a once over. He would have noticed the leaking fork seals too. Bold faced liar. Terrible mechanic too. Terrible work, poor follow up, and lied to me left and right about multiple issues. They weren't cheap either. You have been warned.

If you actually care about your motorcycle and want genuine and honest service, this is not the place for you my friend. On April 2nd 2024 my bike started to smoke out of the exhaust. I always took my 2023 MT-07 for basic maintenance intervals and my motor had 8250 miles and it was smoking already (this is VERY rare for a CP2 engines to have these reliability issues so soon, so something fishy is going on). I texted them on April 2nd and they said “take it to the shop tomorrow!” And I got no response the next day when I tried to turn my bike on but it wouldn’t run, so I had to resort to going in person to get them to tow it (and going in person became a nightmare). They called, two weeks later told me it was piston rings and I verbally consented with Daniel over the phone, I doubt this shop is an authorized unlimited parts dealer since they can barely get parts. Fast forward the next few months, they took my motor apart THREE MORE TIMES WITHOUT CONSENT. They refused to answer my calls or texts or any concerns whatsoever, and I literally resorted to going in person because it was the only way to get any type of response, and they literally told me “it will for sure be ready this week” multiple times in person when I went but it never was ready, I went to the shop to pull my bike out of the shop on August 22nd, that’s 140 days of my bike being there… They scratched the seats, the engine all over, huge gouge in the mirror, both clamps on the air box tube were missing, one on the intake manifolds was missing and one was stripped, there were around 20-30 bolts that were either missing or serverly stripped and couldn’t even be fixed, the spring on the exhaust was somehow missing, and the engine internals was in even worse condition then when I brought it there, the engine oil was very over filled, completely past the window on the side of the engine when off the kickstand. So me and my friend (my friend raced motorcycles and he’s rebuilt many motors and he knows exactly how engines work and how over their heads and delusional this shop is), and we talk to Daniel about the price, I was quoted $2200, for what lol? So we ended up talking to the owner, Waisuman Borges, which is a complete scam artist who’s ignorant of the bureau of automotive repair and how he’s running illegal business practices and I can take him to small claims court and file a report. He starts yelling at us in the shop and it’s just stupid, he refused to lower the price, and we were there being yelled at for a good thirty minutes I would say? I ended up paying the $2200, keep in mind I’m a young 19 year old guy who’s about to move off the college and I was completely taken advantage of. But my mom who has lots of experience suing people came the next day and talked to Waisuman Borges and because she did that he realized we weren’t messing around and we were going to take him to small claims court and sue them. So he ended up giving me my money back thankfully. If he wouldn’t have done that she woudlve gave him her business license and tell her she will reach out to our motorcycle attorney who we’ve already sued and won a lawsuit from. So the conclusion, Motorfast is a complete joke and they have no idea what they’re doing, and I encourage everyone who’s reading this to stay FAR away from them. If you want to take your bike to a good shop, go to RMC Motor Service and Repair in Redwood City, their address is 3485 Woodward Ave, Santa Clara, CA 9505, they have cheaper rates too. It’s just the shop owner and his one employee and he truly cares about his employee which is amazing! He is very honest guy, I had an almost two hour long conversation with him when I went and he gave me great advice and insight, I highly recommend them! Ride safe everyone! I’ll attach the photos so you can see the damage done to my bike, and they didn’t torque any of the bolts properly too, BEWARE!

I had just bought my motorcycle and was having ignition problems. I thought I'd take it here to have it checked out first and replace whatever needed to be replaced so it would start normally. When I took it here, I communicated well with the owner's son, but when I spoke to the owner, these person kept insisting that I pay for the full maintenance package, which I didn't want to pay because I only went there for the ignition problem, plus this cost $920 which is quite expensive. However, this person kept insisting me to do it I finally managed to convince him that I wasn't going to do it and he stopped. When I went to pick up my motorcycle, they charged me $462 for replacing two sparkplugs and cleaning the injectors, which I honestly doubt they did. After two days I took the bike for a ride and It shut off on me, and this time it wouldn't turn on, so I had to call a tow truck to bring it home, and I had to pay another $350. When I got home, I decided to fix it myself, starting with the battery. Once I replaced the battery, the bike didn't shut off again. And now it's fine. I'm very surprised that these people didn't start with a basic battery diagnosis and charged me for something that didn't even resolve the issue. For these reasons, people lose confidence in taking their motorcycles to these places. Very unprofessional from their part. and I would have liked to have shown the #invoice but I never received it either by message or by email.

The guys at this motorcycle shop are SUPER HELPFUL! They were fast, efficient, and honest when working on my bike. Back in November, I went in because I noticed an issue with my chain, and my rear tire was so worn that I could see the mesh. After a quick inspection, they also pointed out that my sprockets were basically done for, and they showed me exactly what was wrong. It wasn’t a cheap fix, and I didn’t have all the funds available because of some financial issues. I asked if we could tackle one thing at a time, since that was all I could afford. Instead of trying to upsell me or push unnecessary repairs, they told me straight up that it wouldn’t be safe to ride with either the tire in that condition or the worn-out chain and sprockets. They were genuinely concerned about my safety, and we worked out a payment arrangement that made the repairs possible. I doubt any other shop would have been as understanding or supportive as they were. Whenever my motorcycle needs work, these are the guys I’m coming to. Outstanding service!

My '04 1150RT was sitting around for years, and I had Motorfast doing a full tune up. They also had to pick up the bike. I was pretty happy with the results, the bike runs fine. They are kinda pricey, but communicated the cost well before they took the bike, and, hey, you get what you pay for. It would have been 5 stars if not for the non existing communication. Never got promised call backs, I always had to call back. They didn't even call me when the bike was ready ...

Took my first bike here recently, a 2010 ninja 250. They changed my tires, brake pads, chain, and cleaned my carb for a good price. Will definitely come back here again in the future. Good service.

I bought a 1975 Suzuki T500 with faulty carburetors(Floats stuck, crush washers leaking, poor idle when throttle closed). The bike ran but only with throttle open. Motorfast took it in, and had the bike running after two sessions(second session free as per their warranty). These guys have a 6th sense for bikes. I've had them do machining work, fabrics, and component sourcing. Work is done for a good price and in a reasonable amount of time. This is a busy shop, so they won't give you hourly updates on the status of your bike; but they WILL call you when it's finished, or when they encounter an unexpected issue. Leaving this review after my 50 year old titan now starts with 2 kicks in 41º weather.
