Updated Review(original below) I previously brought in my 2007 F-150 to this shop for some work and was extremely pleased with the outcome, especially since they handled the notoriously tricky spark plug replacement without a hitch. So naturally, I brought my 2007 Toyota Corolla here when I heard a sound from the engine that hadn’t been there before. They quickly identified it as a belt issue, which they resolved. However, they also mentioned that my engine was “jumping all over the place” due to a bad engine mount and quoted me between $750-$850 for the repair. After some research, I found another shop just down the street that quoted me around $550 for the same job, which made me reconsider the pricing here. Additionally, I inquired about refinishing my headlights. The master tech suggested a “trick” to clear the haze, but something about it didn’t sit right with me. It felt odd, like they weren’t really interested in taking on the job, which left me feeling brushed off. After looking into the suggested “trick,” I realized it was a temporary fix that could potentially damage the paint or plastic bumper beneath the headlights. I decided to tackle it myself with isotropic alcohol, a clear spray-on sealant with UV protection, and a progression of sanding with 80, 120, and 800 grit. It took me about an hour to complete the job, and I can only imagine how fast a licensed mechanic could have done it. While I’ve had great experiences with this shop before, I encourage others to get multiple quotes and compare prices before making a decision, as the engine mount replacement was priced higher than expected. I still highly recommend this shop for their excellent work on my F-150 and my 2020 Kia Telluride, but it’s important to do your due diligence. Original Review: Brought in my 2007 F-150 earlier this month because it was making a horrendous clunking noise, but also to replace spark plugs, which for this specific truck, are notoriously known for breaking, leading to an even greater headache/cost. After a month of running my truck, she sounds/runs like a beaut’! FYI: They reported that due to their mastery and diligent process, zero of the sparks broke! Thank you so very much and will bring all my vehicles here in the future and would recommend Keith and Joe to everyone/anyone!

Mr. Jim’s Auto is fantastic! They ensure you know exactly what needs to be repaired and help you determine the most crucial items to do first. I am on a budget and was not able to make all of the repairs at one time, so they helped me make a plan with the most crucial repairs and then which repairs can be done at a follow up visit. They stayed in communication with me the entire time and ensured I knew what the work was that was being completed. They do excellent work, extremely professional, and our fantastic communicators! My car died right out side of the repair shop. I went in and said I needed help. And he man behind the desk was up and asked me for my keys. Then they got it in right after. But it was late in the Day and I had very little money. So I stayed in my SUV.that night. I was fat away from home the manager stayed up late got me a better deal. And I was able to pay with a check.
